“Ugh you really know how to test my patience…!” Whitty said, sneering down at the corrupted form of Boyfriend. Things were definitely not going in Whitty’s favor. Not only had backup shown up for “Boyfriend”, but the corruption had already spread a frightening amount on him.
He knew he promised Carol he wouldn’t blow his top off again considering what almost happened last time. But it was getting harder and harder to keep control of himself as he was continuously pushed into a corner. It also didn’t help his case considering how smug “Boyfriend” was being, his smile and overall demeanor practically oozed narcissism.
He just really wanted to knock this smug fucker off his high horse. Whitty could only frustratedly sigh as he focused his attention on singing. As the song carried on, Whitty briefly considered using his fire to try and get the upper hand, but he hesitated on it considering their spectator was clearly armed. While he was pretty sure he could tank bullets to some degree, he didn’t want to deal with both of them at the same time.
Just dealing with “Boyfriend” was challenging enough…
However, Whitty had quickly come up with an alternative strategy. As he sang, for brief moments during the song he’d summon fire from his hand and let out short waves of heat. While not as potent as directly attacking, the steadily rising temperature was bound to at least weaken the corruption to some degree.
Whitty had neglected the fact that the rising temperature was also causing his fuse to spark more often. Still, it was clear that his play was working as “Boyfriend” was starting to be physically affected as his eyes flickered off, and his body slumping.
Sadly the small victory didn’t last long as the corruption violently began spreading on Whitty. It practically covered his entire arms, making his body feel incredibly numb.
He couldn’t explain why or how but something *snapped* inside of him. A dam of building emotions that he’d kept bottled up for months finally broke free.
His grip tightened on his mic to such a degree that the metal bent under the pressure. In one swift movement he lifted his arm up and slammed his mic into “Boyfriends” face.
Whitty’s fuse fully ignited as he roared at “Boyfriend”.
“NOT SO COCKY NOW HUH!!?”
The heat radiating off Whitty became so intense that it started to sizzle the water around him, turning it into steam the second any rain droplet landed on him.
This was it…
The clock was ticking…
There was no backing out now…

I see things are getting heated between Whitty and BF, in more ways than one.. Good thing BF's got backup though, I'm sure if he didn't, then he'd most likely lose. Speaking of his backup, I like how once BF gets more weakened at 1:34, Pico's just like "Are you seriously losing?", lol.
The quality of this episode is definitely a step up from Day 1 too, both art-wise and music-wise.
