  • Easy Green Apple & Banana Slice
    Ingredients:
    • 1 Cup Self-Raising Flour (Sifted)
    • Some Cooking Spray
    • 1 Cup Corn Flour (Sifted)
    • 2 Ripe Bananas (Peeled & Chopped)
    • 1 Cup Brown Sugar (Or According To Taste)
    • 2 Eggs
    • 1 Tsp Cinnamon Powder
    • 120 G Soft Butter
    • 2 Tbsp Icing Sugar For Dusting
    • 3 Green Apples / Pink Lady Apples (Peeled & Grated)
    Utensils:
    • A Slice Tin / Any Baking Tray
    • Electric Bitter / A Whisk
    • Spatula
    Method:
    1. Pre-heat your oven at 160 degrees for a fan-forced oven and 180 degrees for a conventional oven.
    2. Mash your bananas using a fork and put it aside.
    3. Take a big dish, add butter and sugar and beat it well using an electric bitter or a whisk.
    4. Add eggs one at a time and beat it well.
    5. Add self-raising flour, corn flour and cinnamon powder and mix it using a spatula .
    6. Add grated apples and mashed banana and mix it until combined.
    7. Spray the baking tray with some cooking spray.
    8. Scrape the batter into the baking tray and spread it evenly using the spatula.
    9. Tap it on the bench top twice and bake it in the pre-heated oven for 35 - 40 minutes.
    10. Take it out of the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes in the baking tray.
    11. After 10 minutes, use a strainer to dust the top of the slice with some icing sugar or powdered sugar and cut it into any size or shape you like.
    12. Apple and banana slice can be served warm or cold, on its own or with some whipped cream, vanilla ice-cream or some custard.
    13. Left over slice can be kept in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
