Good video. But you failed to make mention of the 55+ Cresswind Palm Beach community. With over 800+ homes once it’s built out, it’s a major section within Westlake. Note that they have their own resort clubhouse with an awesome pool, pickleball & tennis courts along with a fitness center. Maybe something to check out.
Also only 20% of the 55 an older community is 55 and older. My pool guy cleans pools there and asked 4 different young homeowners from New York why they were in the 55 and older and they told them Minto sold them the houses because only 20% had to be 55 and older
As someone who lives in the surrounding community I ask that you tell the truth. This Mass development was build in the middle of our rural area. The developers lobbied Tallahassee to get it labeled a city for only one reason TO BUILD TOO MANY HOMES. There is no infrastructure to support this cancerous mass. If you buy there you will have to sign an NDA to not say anything bad about Minto. Red flag. People constantly complain about moldy homes , leaking windows, peeling kitchen cabinets under anonymous posts. The surrounding areas fought against this development of the orange grove and are not welcoming to any of the residents. Westlake has overcrowded the schools, caused mass traffic problems and the developers have not built the promised Town Center. Beware of the lies and promises, talk to other buyers who have regrets
I don’t live in Westlake so I don’t have intimate knowledge. I’ve heard stories but I’ve also spoken to several clients who have been living there and have had no issues. I believe you’re only referring to a small percentage of the homeowners there. Hopefully the infrastructure continues to get better.
yes, very friendly. you would be impressed by the golf cart parades during the holidays. I also take my golf cart to the supermarket (we have designated parking spaces for them)
@LIVSouthFlorida let me make simple cause I can go on for days so I got warranty work order's open since the closing walk thru day 8 months later nobody has come to fixed building management call this houses cookie cutters $900000.00 home everything is the lowest quality you can find
I love westlake, my home and other homes have been built almost to perfection (nothing in life is perfect) Minto has taken great care of us. We have an Atlantic home collection in the Estates. The city is extremely clean, all residents care about the upkeep and safety. There are always community activities for everyone to enjoy. The club house is literally resort style, super clean, relaxing and fun for the little ones. The wine club, the Book club, the fitness club all amazing. Love riding my golf cart to the supermarket or to get my nails done. Love the golf cart parades during the holidays. My home is safe and well built, I did upgrade to better materials and finishes and everyone get those options as well. Thankful if something gos wrong is just a house and everything is fixable.
