Myself a proud product of this wonderful cycling community, from the age of 12 experiencing what the sport at its purest form is all about, and the amazing people who make it a worthwhile activity - it’s just but right to give back by sharing what the industry has thought me. From creating and developing custom bikes for 17 years, and helping newbies enjoy their new sport in a more simplistic approach making cycling less intimidating, we always encourage our community to always support your local bike fitters. All bike fitter can corrects other bike fitter if they thinks the bike fitter is making a wrong fit fitting and sizing.. . And better one is.. the bike fitter can share his knowledge he about to tell were he thinks is the better, rigth, or correct one than the things he saw is incorrect or wrong... . Discussing it also help.. but... . Sharing are still the most friendly way... . Commonsense on facts sharing is priceless . Than having a certificate causing you or wanting you to give them a money... . For a sheet you dont know how effective is or hows their standards are effective... . Every bike fitter can share his thoughts to other bike fitter.. if he wants to corrects, or just sharing a other ways, methods that is also a effective style or theories.. .
Every body can give certificate to another bike fitter.. if that bike fitter wants to copy or continue or spread that bike fitter knowledge or education.. his 100% style or way.. for example mr leian is giving a certificate to fellow bike fitter, or mr peter sagan is a bike fitter also kunyai, and he his teaching and giving also a certificate to his apprentice for a certificate of approving.. guaranteeing the bike fitter is same as he is. So the certificate tells... certification and mr peter sagan approved... guaranteeing people that the bike fitter is effecient like mr peter sagan... .
Thats how industry is.. bro.. . Bike fitter must be all friends, because if they do... the other sector will be saddened to who those in conflict.having a conflict. .. and they migth be sanctioned if the community is not a ordinary cucling community... .they can boycoot or banned that men to their business beings

Don't you have problems with shoe overlap the front wheel ?

    • @CruzControlPH
      @CruzControlPH  Před rokem +3

Overlap is normal when you get the right fit prevalent to “not so tall” individuals. Eventually it becomes second nature not to touch your wheel when riding. Eventually this becomes reflex and comes natural. It’s that same argument we often hear from a group of first time road bike riders when ONE of their club members who also just got their bike last week decide to use clipless pedals for the first time “isn’t that dangerous? You will definitely crash if you forget to unclip”
Then eventually realize it becomes a natural reflex by practice

      Clarence,
First and foremost, I appreciate your kind words about our videos. I am so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Please know that you are not alone, and I truly wish you all the strength and support you need during this time.
Regarding your inquiry, we understand that not everyone may have the option to visit us in person for a bike fitting session, and we want to assure you that there are alternative ways to get a virtual assessment done. We are happy to assist you with this process.
The first step would be to take pictures and a video of you sitting on your bike. Please make sure that the video is taken from various angles, such as the front, side, and back. Also, ensure that the photos demonstrate proper alignment of your body parts such as your hips, knees, and feet. Be sure to wear the gear you typically wear when cycling.
Once you have the photos and video ready, please send them to us via email or our website. I will then analyze the images and provide you with feedback
I recognize that professional bicycle fitting can be an additional expense and are constantly searching for ways to work with individuals facing financial difficulties. If the free virtual assessment is a challenge for you, please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss alternative options. We are committed to helping you get started on a successful and enjoyable cycling journey.

I was was fitted by Coach three years ago and it made all the pain go away. The pandemic got in the way of my biking but afterwards when Coach was able to guide me I've achieved so many things and bike pain was never an issue anymore.
Let me make two things clear that it always mistaken or used by trolls
    1. There are a lot of qualified bikefitters who have different credentials, experience, and ways on how to make you comfortable in the saddle. Any sane person would pick his/her preference and appreciate the others...any troll account would just insist only one is qualified or you need a license to be one.
    2. That the fee you pay ISNT just a bikefit. Its a 24-hour access to a Coach who was at one point was one 0of the top 5 triathlete in Asia. Add to planned rides, free lessons, and unlimited refits or ride with him than any sane person would again see this is way cheaper than bikefitting + monthly 3k for Coaching. A troll account would conveniently omit that...para magalit kayo bakit ang mahal 🤣
    How legit is Coach's fit?
Finished Audax 200, 300, and 600kms. on my first try without any pain and discomfort. Naka smile pa dahil kaya pa more.
So yeah, choice niyo to listen to trolls or reddit people hiding under anonymous acct, na di nagsasabi ng totoo, di napagbigyan dati.

I've found that film just by accident. Very, very interesting, what Coach says and explains in details. I live in Europe and here you can find many bike fitting trolls - maybe it's just mentality, people love big houses, big cars, big cocks, long top tubes etc. Many times I said to my friend, that the bike size they'd chosen is too big for them, but "qualified" fitter had set their position.
After watching few movies by Cruz Control, I tried to check how my bike size fits me. I am 169cm high and ride canyon endurace XS size - it has 52cm TT and the only thing I should do is to swap my 100mm stem to original 80mm and it should be OK :)

Thank you so much for your comment, Jacek. May I ask where you usually ride? We are from the Philippines. We're thrilled to hear that you found our bike fitting basics and principles informative and easy to understand. We understand that the industry can sometimes make bike fitting seem more complicated than it needs to be, which is why we strive to combine ergonomics, biomechanics, and college sciences to make these concepts more accessible to everyone. We're sorry to hear that you've had experiences with "qualified" fitters who have set your friends up with bikes that are too big for them. Unfortunately, this is a common issue that we see often. We're glad to hear that our videos have inspired you to check the size of your own bike and make some adjustments to improve your fit. It's amazing how small changes like swapping out a stem can make a big difference in your comfort and performance on the bike. Thank you again for your comment and for taking the time to watch our videos. We hope they continue to be a helpful resource for you!

@@CruzControlPH Thank you for your response. Well, generally I live in Poland and ride mainly here. Flat terrain, nearest mountains about 100km from my house, and 30km to some nice hills. I am watching your movies and trying to bike fit myself - I like to have body awareness and feel how big influence to general body position and power transfer can change only one small component. My biggest trouble is saddle sore - I tried so many saddles short nose, long nose, flat, curved even selle SMP. I ride mainly long rides over 100km, sometimes over 200km and then it's a real struggle. I am sure, I am close to find my ideal posiiton now - I appreciate your comments and how you explain pros and cons for body positioning. I hope to be better climber after using your advices.
Stay in good health, God bless you.

Poland. Must be a captivating landscape. We have a glimpse of Polish racing from Eurosport and completely stuck watching the Tour of Poland with Kwiato and Majka. Am glad to hear that you're experimenting with bike fitting on your own and gaining body awareness. It's impressive how much of an impact small adjustments can have on your performance. As for your saddle discomfort, it's a common issue that many riders struggle with. Finding the perfect saddle can be a difficult and time-consuming process, but it's crucial for long-distance rides. We're thrilled to hear that our videos have been helpful to you, and we hope that they'll continue to inspire and inform your cycling journey. Climbing can be challenging, but with the right techniques and practice, we're sure that you'll become a stronger and more confident rider in no time! Thanks again for your comment and keep us updated on your progress. Wishing you the best of luck on the bike!
