😃Hello,I have been subscribed for a long time, but I DO NOT KNOW YOUR NAME. I am so thankful for you as YOU are the only person I know of that makes CZECH bread dumpling with bread cubes in it. I had a boyfriend many years ago his Father was Czechelslavakian (spelling?) and his mom used to make those with sour cream gravy with chicken.for us IT WAS AMAZING! I now know it is possible to make your wonderful food easily. God bless your day and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!🙂I will make this bread CUZ IT HAS BUTTER IN THE DOUGH! YUMMY!🙂
Thank you Lisa for wonderful comment. :) My name is Kristyna. God bless you and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! Yes everything with butter takes better. ;)
Homemade bread is so good. Actually, my (late) maternal, great grandmother was working in a bakery in Prague, before she came to North America in 1900. That bread looks awesome. Cheers! 👍👍✌️
Thank you 😊 Yes nothing beats homemade. 😊
I have been waiting for this recipe from you. Thank you, Kristyna!
:)
Welcome back! Will definitely try this bread recipe.
Thank you :) I am excited. Please let me know how it turned out.
Thank you, I’ve missed your videos. You’ve given us something new to try over the upcoming holidays. 🍺👍
Glad to see you again.
Must try this recipe.
Thank you.
Best
Welcome back Kristyna!! 🙋♀️👍👍🥰😍😘🤗🤗🤩🪩🪩💖
Thank you :)
Looks delicious!
Thank you :)
Thank you! 💜 🍞 🫓
Finally! ❤️
Yes was about time. :) I hope to post now more often.
@@czechcookbook I Hope too❤️
Amazing recipe! Would you please clarify what means a "warm place"? Would turned off oven be a good place or does it have to breathe? Thanks
For example now during cold days I would put around the bowl with the dough warm blanket, but leave the top with the kitchen towel not covered with the blanket. If you have a heater or a fire place, put the bowl next to it. When the bread was rising I covered it with the kitchen towel and put inside the turned off oven. Which works perfect! :)
I'm trying your recipe right now... are you still in the Czech Republic? I have your cookbook but this recipe is not incl. My Czech grandma made many types of breads incl. Vánočka. My grandma made it for Christmas and Easter... raisens - ok, citrines no! LOL. Thank you for posting!!! God Bless and Merry Christmas!!!
Yes still in CZ. Hopefully soon back in USA. 😊 Yes many recipes aren’t included because I created them after the book was published. I am sure there will be volume 2. 😊 Thank you and Merry Christmas 🎄
Super recept, ale jsem zvědavej, jestli si to někdo z těch cizinců upeče.

Wonderful recipe! We have a question- My husband’s Czech Grandmother used the feather brush just like you did here. She’s been passed away for several years now. And we don’t know how she made hers. How do we get one of these? Or can you tell us how to make one? Perhaps you could do a video on how to make one? Thank you!
I actually sell them on Amazon USA and Canada. I am out of stock in USA, but will send exactly these so you can buy them. :) They are made from real goose feathers and I don't think people can easily get their hands on these since they are plugged from different parts of the goose. On my website I have links to Amazon USA and Canada so keep an eye on them. :) I will try to send them soon. www.czechcookbook.com
@@czechcookbook Thank you for replying! We would love to have one! So I followed the link and I can’t find the feathers. What is it described as? Am I going to just plain Amazon? Or ordering from your website?
@@laurieklepac3306 it will be on the website when I restock the products on Amazon USA. Currently I only have them in Canada. www.czechcookbook.com/amazon-ca/
Hello Kristyna:
I’d like to buy your cookbook for my wife. I can’t find it. Can you point me in the right direction? Thank you , Joe from Wisconsin, USA
Hi Joe, signed books just arrived to Amazon USA. Hopefully Amazon will open them and stock them fast. So any day now 😊 They will be here amzn.to/2W3J5yL
@@czechcookbook Thank you Kristyna. I just placed the order and it went through. Merry Christmas and I can’t wait for the fresh Houska after some bread dumplings smothered in sauerkraut. 🎄😊🍺
@@driverjoelonghauler2881 perfect. 😊 Thank you and Merry Christmas to you and your wife. 🎄🎁
