Yes, I hopped in vc one time, and was absolutely pissed at the track selection in my sq that I did with Jacob (it’s not very fun when most of the tracks being played are baggers).

Sometimes slower is safer, and safer makes it end up being faster. In this specific example, NEON probably should have gone top path, but the strategy involved with multiple paths goes back to what I love most about Yoshi Valley even though this is still the Ninja Hideaway race from the previous 2 timestamps.
Hearing "where's Remy going?" whenever I take a "slower" route is just an added bonus. 😆

Ah, Koopa City. Strangely enough, this was near the bottom of my list of favorite courses before the Booster Pass, and the only thing that's changed between then and now is how my Dancing Mad build allowed me to appreciate the course during Wave 5. In fact, my current Koopa City time features Dancing Mad.
I need to bring Dancing Mad back to a friend room sometime. Maybe when Dingaling is there, considering how he treated my Mii of Fuwawa the last time.

8Bow Road. Another course I used to dislike before the Booster Pass. Unlike with Koopa City, it wasn't a particular build being used over the course of several races in a wave cycle that improved my opinion of this one. Rather, it was a single race with 11 Japanese players (including one "BAU BAU thief" in Pekora) that allowed me to open my heart to this course. When players aren't constantly spamming items, which for whatever reason is much more of an epidemic when Western players are involved, most courses are much more fun, and 8Bow Road is one of those many courses.

Competitive tends to ruin opinions of several courses, especially with how some strategies **cough*bagging*cough** get abused. I remember you saying my opinion of Excitebike Arena would change, and not for the better, if I got into competitive, but I'm certain I'd grow weary of MC3 *much* more quickly than I would of Excitebike under those conditions.

What the *BEEP?!?* Unless NEON trailed his shell on instinct, which I highly doubt would happen because he knew you were the closest player to him for the past few turns, Nintendo needs to do something about online item interaction so that only one of you gets hit by that shell.
