Someone gave me one of these with the pull out pencil feature but I don't have an iPad & don't even know how to find what I have. When I measure the actual device it is 9.5 x 7.5. I want to find someone with an iPad that could use this.
If you don't want to use the "stand" functionality, can you just fold the cover back flat against the back? Does it stick by itself, or does it slide around when folded to the back? Nice review btw.

called Bestskins ever matte skin. i basically got a sheet of it and photo copied the back of the case. cut the paper to the size then traced it on the skin. it was extra work but looks hella alot better then a scuffed up back which these clear plastic backs inevitably become
Never bent any iPad. Because I don’t sit on mine, lol. The bending on any Apple product is overblown. I’ve never had any Apple product break on me. I’ve had two Galaxy phones break, FYI
I wanted to like this case. It’s slim and well made. I even liked the pencil holder though I do have concerns over it snagging on something, for example when inserting/removing from bags. The deal breaker for me was its “stand”. The magnet on the folio cover is NOT strong enough to maintain a triangle to hold the ipad at its more upright position. Even a slight touch of the screen would make the iPad collapse in a heap. This was simply not tolerable so I returned it to the Apple Store after a week. They were fine and accepted the return but proceeded to clean and return it to the shelf for another unsuspecting customer. I’ve since read many reviews with similar complaints, so it could be a design/manufacturing issue. I wonder if Otterbox is listening?
Which way were you folding it? In this video when he showed the upright view he folded it so the outside of the cover was touching the table, I fold it so the microfiber is outside (less than ideal) and that works fine, just as stable as any other case so I think thats how it is meant to be folded... Genuinely can tap the iPad aggressively upright and it doesn't budge
More likely he didn't want to post an honest review that the 360 Elitte version is cheap trash compared to the original when it comes to the Apple Pencil.
What sucks balls to me is this new symmetry doesn’t have portrait standup ability like the previous… I wish I never found out the old one could because I’m used to not having portrait 😂
i actually made it sort of. i originally got a matte skin from skinet i think the brand is? i didnt use the front protector that was included with that kit, so i cut it up and used it on the back of the case to keep the clear plastic from scuffing up. worked well for 2 years now lol

I just got one of those for my new iPad Pro and I’m still giving myself time to get used to them.
It is great on the iPad mini 6… no problem to get the pencil on/off… and has a nice look to it as well!

u could take some scotch tape and cover that area jsut to be sure on the inside part of the case
