- Alka Bharwaj, a Georgia resident, was trapped in her burning, overturned vehicle in the front yard of a residence in Johns Creek earlier this month. The fiery crash was captured on bodycam footage released by the Johns Creek Police Department on Thursday. Officers rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire before smashing the sunroof of the Range Rover to rescue Bharwaj from the wreckage. A dramatic scene unfolded as police recovered an open bottle of alcohol wedged between her legs while Bharwaj lay on the ground, refusing to move. @Z0RDR4CK comes from 'sauce'. Someone's drinking, they're 'on the sauce'. Thus sozz. Also, 'sozzled' = drunk. So works both ways. English is such a beautiful living language, wending and winding as it does throughout history.

Being affluent isn't what it used to be. She'll get a light sentence because she's a woman.
Don't think that officer was expecting to help deliver a bottle of booze from a crash victim that day.
That jug was worth more to her than even the Land Rover. Guaranteed, she didn’t pay for that vehicle on her own volition.
She couldn't stand and keep the bottle tucked at the same time.
Exactly she was that inebriated!!! She crashed and still had the audacity to try and hide more evidence.
dang, accident so traumatic she pooped a bottle!!

For all of you people who don't get it....
She wasn't holding on to the bottle because she wanted the booze. She was trying to hide it from the cops.
For sure.
Reminds of that DEI-ESG female Cop with Chicago PD that partied hard at her unit's booze bash in The Loop, then after...stumbled to her car (like most of her fellow badge-holders) without a second thought or fear of consequence...and proceeded to murder an innocent pedestrian walking to her hotel. Jan-2024. At least they finally charged one. I spent 14 years watching CPD making such cases disappear. Because, they are there to protect and serve us and what not.
I mean, maybe. But if her primary goal were to hide the bottle, then she would have actually hid it somewhere in the car, rather than bring it out with her. Plus, how did the bottle even come out with her in the first place? It wouldn't have traveled between her legs, plus if that had happened, the cops would have seen the bottle earlier than they did. Finally, you said she was "holding on to the bottle." Technically that is true, but only with her legs, and only toward the end of the video.
I'm thinking the most likely scenario was she stuffed the bottle into her sweater in her drunken stupor, not necessarily to hide it from the cops but because that's just what drunkards do, and then once she was on the ground it fell out and ended up between her legs, or probably more likely, she moved it from her upper torso to between her legs.
Regardless, we don't know her exact motives for why the bottle ended up where it did.
@@nathanjamesbakerI think she was holding it between her legs, that’s why they had to lift her out. She didn’t crawl out, she came out in a ball.
She was hiding it because she didn’t want to be charged with DUI
Because that was the problem here.
They warned her Not to Touch the Glass, But she did anyway, the Glass Bottle. Drunks are amusing, but deadly.
They rescued her and she rescued that bottle all heros
Total waste of a fire extinguisher.
That explains why they had such a hard time pulling her out. I hate drunk people! She so drunk that she says, " can you get the door open." after the cop busted out her sunroof and shes sitting on the door. I hope she goes to jail!

The cops were so polite considering the magnitude of her actions
Back before weed was legal I had just bought an ounce and a half and was driving on the interstate around a bend. A truck had dropped a tarp in the middle lane. I couldn't avoid it, so I tried straddling it, but it caught my drive train, wrapped itself around and locked up my back wheels. I skidded into the retaining wall, hit it with my passenger front fender, then flipped. I grabbed the bottom of my steering wheel and pulled my head into my lap as it landed- right on the drivers roof. Skidded own the road on the roof for a bit, then stopped. I was totally uninjured. Everything in the car had been thrown forward at the impact, but my only concern was finding that weed before the cops arrived. I found it in the nick of time but had no pockets in my sweat pants, so I just stuck it in my elastic waist band and pulled my tee shirt over it as I climbed out the back window- the only one big enough to still fit through.. EMP's checked me out, Not a scratch. The tarp was still wrapped around my drive train, so they never suspected me of driving intoxicated. Then the cop offered to give me a ride to my dad's place nearby. I was able to grab a few things from the car, including my grody hiking boots that still had the even grodier socks in them from the climb the previous weekend. I pulled a sock out, stuffed the weed into the toe of the boot and stuffed the nasty sock in on top of it. Cop game me the ride. I totally pulled it off.

Its sad, how she degraded herself, trying to hide the bottle. Ive a family member, that thinks she can hide her empty bottles, in the used catspride, inside of garbage bags.
