Impressive stability in such a small model. The landing glide slope was right on. So many times they drop like a rock when power’s reduced. Great revue❤️

Yes, I was surprised at how stable and well behaved this plane is.
I was also very surprised at the light wing loading of this plane.
It's much heavier than my P51D 750mm and it's only 50mm larger in the wingspan.
I was expecting it to have heavy wing loading but that wasn't the case.
Just a joy to fly ;-)

I've just got to test my Ailerons again since increasing the Dual-Rates to 100%.
I'm pretty sure the Setup will be Golden after the next couple of flights.
I also have a 3S 1300mah 30C LIPO that weighs 106g I want to test.

It looks exactly the same as the the Hobby-King version - but I hear what you say about the motor - as it also has the 1200KV - mind you it is showing up as Discontinued - I love the way mine flys out of the 800mm range it fly's and handles as if it is a much bigger aircraft - absolutely agree with the lipo 1000mAh 3S ..
Yes, the lower kv motor will have a bit more torque.
Discontinued at Hobby King, TopRC, or both?
You never know when they might discontinue a plane.
Sometimes it's as soon as they're out of original stock.
I'm glad I was able to pull the trigger on one as it's a great flying plane.

I think you're absolutely correct!
My bench test have also shown, more blades = less efficiency.
I'll definitely test it down the road with a 2-blade prop ;-)

Toni, any possible reason that you can think of for upward angle of the motor? I have never come across a model with upward angle motor!

The only reason I can think of is the Thrust Line is not centered.
It looks to me to be an upward angle on the Motor but that may just be an optical illusion because of the foam molding.
It did have me apprehensive about what to expect on the Maiden Launch ;-)

When you say light wing loading, how are you determining that? Isn't wingloading essentially a product of the weight of the plane? Like if a plane has x weight and y square inches of wing area, and a totally different model plane also has x weight and y square inches of wing area, don't they have the same wing loading?

I'm not speaking of the square inches of wing area vs the weight of the plane.
Not all wing designs are the same as some wings will generate more lift than others even if the planes have the same wing area and weight.
When I say light wing loading I'm referring to the way the plane handles in flight. If you've ever flown a plane that feels heavy when trying to maneuver it as opposed to a plane that feels light when trying to maneuver it, that's what I mean.

@@GroundControlRC Ok. I thought "wing loading" was a technical term with one specific definition (calculation), I didn't realize you were using it as a qualitative description of a flight/handling characteristic. Thanks for clarifying.
750mm's models have a stock DST 1200kv = Turnigy 1200kv ,,, The 820kv May* be because its 800mm? and not 750mm? idk!

They may be putting the 1200kv in their 750mm and 800mm.
The one I found with the 1200kv was also an 800mm like this one.
This one has pretty good power so I'm glad I got the 820kv ;-)
