Great video, love watching you guys, keep up the great work👍😁
It’s a bit like coming home late and thinking “I can’t be bothered to cook or eat anything large” then popping down the road for a cheeky chips and cheese.
I'm broke! Why did I click on this?!
Ummmmm 😂😅
Feel u 😂
Lmao I just looked at my bank account before getting on this video too
Solution: Don't buy the games.
@@SalvableRuin simple yet very hard to do
Don’t worry, I didn’t know about the “find your joycon” feature. If I could get a similar feature for my glasses, keys and youth that’d be great
Haha you can tag that shizzle. Mark
yes please!
I found my joycon
Its so nice to see how supportive you are in your daughter's love for gaming, it makes me so glad you get to share this nerdy passion with your kids. Thanks Mark 😊
😊 thank you, she's very cool I'm lucky! Mark
@@SwitchUpYtshe sounds cool and talented. Well done and congrats on good parenting 👏 🎉
❤@@jesssealey6552
My backlog is getting so big. It's basically turning into a bucket list at this point.
😂
This and my pile of books to read are out of control.
I’ve got a friend whom only has one arm and he always raves about the last campfire being one of the most accessible games on the switch, so go show some support for a game that does it right 😊
The Last Campfire is an amazing game. I played it at a low point in my life, and it helped me so much. Without this game, I think I would've just gotten stuck in depression. It reminded me that I needed to keep moving.
Love how your daughter makes pocket change by looking up the prices! And thanks for bringing up the Last Campfire. The visuals alone are amazing, and it’s deeper than it appears-hopefully more people enjoy it now!
Thanks for watching!
"You play as this fella who looks like a colored tea bag..." Say no more.
hahaha
I’m new to the channel but I dig the vibe. My switch was gathering dust before I came across your videos and now thanks to you, it’s not getting any rest lol. Keep it up my guy
Haha welcome mate!! Mark
I wanna hear more about Mark's campervan odyssey...
"The wilderness years"
I'll chat about It in my next sales video if I remember mate, good times! Mark
Joycon's vibrating like crazy ........
my wife's ears prick up.
😂😂😂😆 ❤
Oh no 😂😂😂
Probably just as well Nintendo didn't as you for suggestions on Switch 2 Joycon features!
Man the affordability this time is crazy. I really dont need to grow the backlog but I might. Gordian Quest looks really interesting as a Slay the Spire and RPG fan.
A midweek sales vid and a cup of tea after work. Yes please!😊
Bloody glorious mate! Mark
Love these videos! I’ve found the majority of my games over the past year through them, and I’ve really enjoyed the fact that I don’t have to constantly go searching through the eshop myself. Thanks for putting in the work to provide this content! It really is appreciated
Was about to blissfully leave this video without spending money… until right at the end… Pronty!! Looks amazing!!!
Yeah it's a gem for sure. Mark
Nope, absolutely did not know about the find my joycons option lol
IKR hahaha I don't know how it would work once the Joycon have switched off though? 🤔 - Mark
Same
@@SwitchUpYt it would be similar to how mini rig speakers can be turned on with the app, as speaker is not turned ‘off’ but in ‘sleep’ mode, hence its able to be turned on remotely. Probably works in a similar way.
I didn’t know about the find my joy con feature either but thanks for telling me, good to know! 😅
Mark you are the Jeremy Clarkson (without the ugly bits) to CZcams switch content. It’s poetry! Can’t wait for the “so let’s find out”!
Hehehe I'll take it! Mark
Hey Clarkson was recently voted Britains sexiest man……so there’s that.
Absolutely no reflection on what he looks like, I take nothing away from him on that front! More the occasional racist comment or punching a coworker I was referring to. 😂
Did not know about find your joycon haha. Thanks for the vid❤
Thank you mate. Mark
Really glad I found you guys, amazing channel that I wish I knew of a lot sooner
Cheers mate. Mark
What are you guys most desired ports to the Switch?
Really looking forward the next Direct and I would love a Fallout port to be announced.
Still keeping fingers crossed for ports of Remember Me, or all the older Avatar Games, including my favourite, Korra's game
Yes Fallout please, three and four for me but the others will do just fine. I have a laundry list of ports I'd love to see but they aren't realistic I suppose, eg Mass Effect and Dragon Age Trilogies, just ports not remasters.
We will for sure do that as a video. Mark
@@SwitchUpYtthis would get so many views as you blokes know what the Switch could potentially handle. And maybe what you'd like to see on the next iteration of the Switch should it meet certain requirements. 🤔
Zelda: The Wind Waker. I've been waiting for so long. Every Direct I get my hopes up like an idiot, just to be disappointed everytime.
The last campfire is a great game. Considering how much hello Games puts into no man's sky for free, I think picking up this gem of a game is a great way to support them.
Thanks for the sale video, finally one where I don't have to worry as I have all of games that I want out of this bunch already.
Thank you again for this, I always look forward to these vids as its my source of discount games :D
Love your channel and this series! It has helped me scope out so many good sales and games I would have never looked for
Love, how u try to describe the games. With such emotions not like orher Creators, reading down like AI.
Kinda feels, like im in a room with u guys.
Cheers
I imagine we're all sat in the pub chatting! Mark
Last Campfire is AMAZING...huge fan.
Great game. Mark
Very nice varied bunch of suggestions. I like the usual weekly sales vid but I think your cheapy sale vids have lots of games you just don't see recommended elsewhere. Many thanks.
Definitely mate it's like the gems episode. Mark
Juggling petting 2 dogs, holding the snake and trying to play Mario Rabbids sparks of home and watching this video! Multitasking at its finest 🤣
Haha you're winning mate! Mark
Love the 2d sidescroller during the 20 seconds of Juarez portion. Lol
L😂❤
I also didn't know there was a find a joycon feature either! Now itll be easier to figure out where my cat has moved them to!
Thank you very much (!) for adding yet more games to my backlog!! I should know not to watch these videos because as you said, and i have said in the past, you say what it is on the tin and there never is any clickbait - main reason your one of the very very few (2!) switch channels i watch now. Plus i love hearing fellow brits accents too 🇬🇧
Legend, thank you mate. Mark
Thanks for all videos i only get my sale info from yall
Legend. Mark
Really like the way you deliver the games to us in conversational settings. Sometimes too much scripting can make the delivery too robotic. yours is on point. loving it. you have got a subscriber:) looking forward to more content from you.
Recently went for a paddle in Southend, can confirm the terrifying creatures from Ponty really capture the feel of walking down the high street
😂😂😂❤
Machinarium, Samorost 3 and 2, so much fun playing these with my kids in the past. Then they would watch a playthrough on CZcams as their screen time instead of a movie. Creeks would cause nightmares though :)
Yeah my kids do the same. Good times. Mark
Love the work guys! So much backlog!!
I look forward to these videos every week, saved me so much money with great deals!
I recently bought Dakka Squadron, so far it’s great fun!
Will somebody please think of my wallet! Lol, SwitchUp is always thinking of our wallets and helping save us money on games we would've missed. Cheers SwitchUp 🎉
Hehehe spending to save ...as my wife always says 😅😂
@@SwitchUpYt budgeting queen right there. I weep for your wallets lol 😆.
Dakka on sale for $4.99? Alright. I'm in.
Barjan mate! Mark
Thanks for all the content you guys put out! The way you put these together and just chat about games is very enjoyable and relaxing. Great way to start my morning. Seems like you have fun with it too, which makes a difference. Keep it up guys!
Thanks a lot guys, awesome video as usual.
Must have missed the "all patched up" video about warhammer dakka squadron, i was a bit hesitant to buy it at launch, so thanks to your video and the sponsor s action, i just bought it 😊
Nice mate hope you enjoy it! Mark
Thanks for another great video, I think I'll have a look at FAR, it's been on my radar for ages.
Just wanted to say thanks for all the years of service, I've been watching you for donkeys years now and you've got me through some really hard times x
Oohhh, definitely getting Gordian Quest for my Switch. Thanks for the heads-up!
I apreciate you guys upload this discounts vídeos very often, i rarely have time to play on my switch and watch the deald section.
Mark you were on a roll, a very chatty conversational episode. I can highly recommend the last campfire an enjoyable adventure
Cheers Jon mate yeah I was enjoying myself for sure. Mark
pac man world is the perfect pac man game for me and the remake just makes it even better glad to see folks can play it easily now
Exactly right mate! Mark
Pronto looks interesting. You always manage to show games I haven’t seen on the eshop. Thanks guys
I love your "stealth game giving" as you explained it lol still waiting for mine hehehe
This is very helpful thank you for making this videos it can be daunting to find gems in the sale store
Good shout out including The last campfire and Far: Lone sails, I've got both and they are really good picks. I'll give Railbound a try, always up for a good puzzle game. Btw I love some of these unique quotes like "bar-jain" and "apologies to the backlog" I hear in your videos 😂
Good looking selection there. What's the western looking game in the beginning that I don't think was mentioned in the saveloy selection? Is it call of huarez?
Great video as always, you guys definity don't disappoint! I'm tempted by Hand of Fate 2, gonna have to look at it a bit more.
I just bought Puyo Puyo Champions because it was very cheap and I was searching for a 2€ relaxing puzzle game… turns out I’m so bad at it and got really stressed 😅 should have waited for this video to spend my 2€!
Congratulations to your daughter for her hard work! She really deserves that pocket money 😊 it’s so cool that she participates to this channel too!
She's awesome, thanks mate! Mark
Has anyone else started using the word Saveloy when shopping for games? As in, "Oh dang, I'm really in need of some good Saveloy's. These look good!" (Tho I'm American, "I'm really in need of some Costco hotdogs", just wouldn't work😆)
I just purchased "Bug Butcher", "Last Words" and "Dakka Squadron" for all under ten bucks! Can't beat it. Thanks for games Mark!
Enjoyed it?! Enjoyed it!!!!???? Always enjoy these Mark! Always look forward to Switchup Videos and watch every one! Definitely like these for the more obscure titles as well, such as Pronty in this one! Thanks as always for a good time!
Thank you mate it's appreciated. Mark
Want to know how much I watch this channel….the other night I genuinely dreamt I met you guys in a supermarket, and got your autograph…if that’s not love, then I don’t know what is!
Talking of the highs and lows of the e-shop - I would love to see a video about ‘simulator’ games, of which there seems to be plenty on there. I know powerwash sim is meant to be pretty good but I often get temped by titles such as truck or bus simulator, even though I’m pretty sure they are actually pants.
My backlog is high and it just keeps piling up! Lol. So many interesting games out there. Still playing Unicorn Overlord, though. Moving on to the next once I’m done 😁
I love hearing about gaming adventures with kids! My daughter is 7 and just starting to get the hang of dual stick controls and it's really opening up her world. Always ready to hear some recommendations for "kid friendly" games!
Last Campfire looks fun! Savaloy style! Thanks for the nice video!
That really cool that your daughter goes out of her way to find those dirt cheap prices of games for you to showcase in these sales vids. Unfortunately I’m super broke rn and I have the worst feeling sickness atm. I feel like I can’t even play most of my games on my switch or steam account because of how bad this cold I have. The worst part is that I don’t remember when was the last time I was this sick and it just came out of nowhere, really raspy coughs and throat and really bad headaches (I live with my family and we don’t think we even have any herbal teas to remedy it). Which makes me wonder that whenever I’m in a sickly state like this, are there any games that I can play that I don’t have to use too much brain power or precise reflexes to play. RPGs are genre that comes to my mind
almost 300 physical and over 600 digital games now on switch thanks to you guys spending my money and now its almost like a challenge watching your sales vids and think ahhhh i'll have everything you come up with by now.... almost made it to the finish... almost... Pronty... never heard of it and at 50% off an absolute barjain.... think i need to borrow your campervan and drive somewhere remote with no wifi and try a get through my 300 game backlog!!! lol
I would like to see the ranking of the best "Saturday games"
I like that! Mark
Would love to see a stream of some of some of your legendary Friday night co-op sessions. Not sure if you would fancy it, but I reckon you would have an audience!
Definitely have to do it. Mark
Disc World is a GOATed series of books! Terry Pratchett is so underrated it’s a crime! His work is both hilarious and makes you think. Mort! Is one of my favorites
Definitely, absolutely great. Mark
I had to laugh when you said everything went gray when you got stuck in Railbound and a kid solved it in one move. I'm a 69 year old woman who's been playing video games for nearly 40 years.
I may not solve puzzles as quickly or win a battle as easily as before but if a game is holding my interest, I don't really care.
Thanks for another great video!
Exactly, you're right haha! Mark
Needs more Dakka ! Another good sales video sadly my backlog is kinda massive so getting new games i will wait a bit with lol
Some absolute belters on this list. Might have to pick up Dakka. Love a 40k game. Got Boltgun on my radar as well after watching another of your videos. Cracking video as always
If you can charge a phone, you can charge a laptop. Lol.
Playing the Pronty demo, and it’s pretty fun. Long demo too.
Thanks again - always top notch recommendations. Keep the videos coming. Thanks for always giving chances to win stuff - an added bonus much appreciated.
I'm.a new switch owner ...and wow ...prices are insane. So this channel is a lot of help.
Gonna have a backlog summer. It'll be fun. Sitting in the baking heat in my underwear with the fan on max, chipping away at (and beating) some long overdue games.
I laughed so hard when you said that there’s nothing that can harm you in the shallow part of the ocean. I live in Australia. We have crocodiles and sharks that can be seen from the Shoreline. At the same damn beach.
When you mentioned ya first game for you switch was Pan Pan it made me think what my first switch game was, mine was Diablo 3 and I've clocked up an otherworldly amount of hours into that game, I got a question for ya tho what's the most amount of time you've invested into a game? the reason I love D3 so much is it has burst game options like a quick mission that's over in 9min, or just stay on for 1hr or so, and has on and offline options which is perfect for me because I never know how much time I got before life throws a lemon at me and I gotta pause it and attend to some inane task that needs doing, dang it I'm rambling again, always love these sale vids until the next one take care, yeah a couple caught my eye, but money is tight this fortnight, tho if I don't buy my morning coffee for four days I might grab something, guess only time will tell, I know I'll need to substitute my coffee for something else but anyway enough of this waffle, chow dude till next
The Lost Words is such an overlooked gem. I'll admit I checked it out for the same reason as you (massive Discworld fan), and I wasn't disappointed. Obviously the story is nothing like a Discworld novel, but it's still extremely well written (not to mention emotional). I loved the mechanic of using discovered words to solve puzzles, and the integration of the actual pages to tell the story. So glad to see this game getting a bit of love here in the sales video. Hopefully more people will pick it up (just bring a box of Kleenex for the ride!).
Would check some of these out but you have sent me down the rabbit hole that is kingdom come deliverance lol
What brand/type of joycons are you using? Looks nice! The joysticks look a bit larger than the OG joy cons?
Cheers for making my backlog even bigger 🤣
I'm also today years old with the find your joycons. That's gonna be so helpful when playing with my nephew who constantly loses his controller!
Ooo thanks for bringing Far: Lone Sails to my attention. Looks like such a cool little game and at that price as well!
“A historic birthday there. I’m not sure whose, but yeah. Very historic.” 😂
Words of wisdom right there hahah
That’s the strangest Call of Juarez footage I’ve ever seen 😉
Some cool pics in this vid. I never heard off Pronty as well. Now I got my eye on it. Cool. Muchos' Thanks!
No problem!
Excellent video as always
Great video! I really like how your daughter helps out. I had to laugh out loud (for real) about you commenting on yourself about Ponyo.
Oh, and the game selection was also great. :-) I loved Machinarium. Played it on the iPad back in the day. That's still mobile gaming, right? Creaks would be an instant buy for me... if I wasn't living in the EU, that is. So another game on the wish list it is. Thank you Mark
And i never heard of Pan Pan. Looks great. Just bought it. Thanks again!
Thanks Mark!
I grabbed The Last Campfire and also The Lost Word both for under £3.
Many thanks 👍
Thx to your channel. Both of you are so nice to listen to AND you have both not this „hype mentality“. When games are bad or only ok you say that. That’s so rare nowadays. Thx a lot.
The graphics in Railbound instantly reminded me of Golf Peaks!
Nabbed Call of juarez for the pew pews and am not dissapointed. Loving it a lot.
A Discworld fan? A man of culture. I still love the wizards best. Esp a particular wizzard. And the aussie wizards. Oooh and the nightwatch. Oh man I gotta go read. Btw have you played the discworld game? Apparently its really tricky.
I loved the lost words. Played it last year just after my father passed away. It seemed to be created to help children (and bigger kids)understand and come to terms with the loss of a loved one.
The Last Campfire definitely looks good, I love Machinaium as well so I'll have to check out Creeks. Definitely helpful video for me as I'm dealing with an illness and unable to work at the moment.
Cheeky vibrating your so called lost joy con while having company :)
There's a few in here I might have to pick up!
The update for DakkaDakka is just like you said night and day better! Wish I could've picked it up for the sale all updated instead of day one, but what a killer dog fighting game! Crimson Skies-esque
great game selection! the last campfire looks like my cup of tea!
Warhammer looks decent now.
