i think ruby heart glitch won't crash the game on some emulators. Took me a ton of experimenting to get it to work
On arcade or DC it works fine
That glitch is actually dependent on the direction you hold while also holding taunt. going to the left will always teleport you back to the ground on the heavy version which is actually pretty cheap and lets you do some mean setups since it acts as a teleport.

Bison can also follow Gambit off the screen. Bison’s head stomp always places him above the opponents head. Since Gambit is constantly flying up, Bison follows him until he gets knocked down.

Alright here is my personal favorite glitch, pick omega red and Dan with Dan’s autograph assist set up. Now do omega reds super in the air and make sure that on the last hit of the super Dan’s autograph hits the opponent, and the game breaks

The likelihood is probably extremely rare but he’s one of the biggest and most legendary players in the FGC. Kizzie Kay is a streamer too but I don’t know if he has the clout Justin has which is why I’d be worried about someone trying to do some fuck shit on Justin over a glitch online.
There’s a glitch with Morrigan and Mecha-Zangief. You have to dash at Gief doing a lariat so Morrigan hits his fists to make her fly straight up and off the screen.
Also: Of the most important glitches to Spiral is her ability to call an assist from the air while doing her spiral stomp.

No Venom/BB Hood body freeze? I think that one is version-specific but the reactions I got at the arcade were priceless.
I was hoping you were going to do the Anakaris command grab then snap on someone with super armor. Also just a simple dhc from Venom (at the point of the web) to BBhood grab super makes the two-person glitch possible. There's also the Thanos powerball glitch if you DHC really quick. Spiral can come in with knives if you use her knives assist and cause flying screen REALLY quick before she gets a chance to throw the knives. There's the guile flash kick glitch...Psylocke's Y-boost glitch on dead body. Dead Megaman's leaf shield glitch...Not a glitch persay, but my one-of-a-kind triple assist combo that uses all three characters' assists.
where his life bar disappears? he just has to take one pixel of block dmg while he has leaf shield and game thinks he's dead. you can use that to get weird charge fireball combos too

I have actually done Juggernaut's glitch before at the arcade. People were salty that even when they are blocking, their health goes way down.

i love this game too much and i also found my freeze glitch i called "Phsyco carbonadium" then i tried it on the arcades when 10 people waiting for play LOL they were angry and stuned after that

I never knew about the Ghost Ruby Heart one, I knew the softlock though. The classic.
It's a hardlock, not a softlock, because, like Justin himself said, it freezes the game completely. A softlock is when the game is still running, but is in an unescapable/non-progressible situation to some extent.
I did some testing with character switch codes (for cheat engines) on SF Alpha3,aaaand,some REALLY weird stuff happened,like,by changing Guy into akuma,tatsu breaks the game,demon is 1 frame and teleports to the target and sprites got F*CKED up.
By swaping the "hadouken dudes" you can change tatsu and dp effects,so,by example give Ryu's tatsu akuma tatsu properties.
You can also change Fireball palletes.
Definitely want to see more mvc2 content!
I wouldn't call the "Dead Body" glitch a glitch per se, I think it's an oversight that Capcom didn't notice. But it was real smart of you to have figured that out.

@@biohazard724 Not really, with oversights the game still does what it's supposed to, in that case it's not treating the opponent as if he was defeated and it'll proceed with the fight if the combo ends, which the game will treat as the character being finally knocked out.
Glitch is the Ruby Rose thing you saw; she was not supposed to do that, and the effects are definitely not what the game was supposed to do.

I would love to see a video with you pulling off glitches in actual matches. I also would love to see any sauce you got from retro/poverty games. I remember seeing someone in an interview mention you saying in response to being asked to play a game, "oh, you don't wanna play me in that" and they found out the hard way why not. It would be cool to see a video, "games you don't wanna play Justin Wong in" showing off tech for broken fighting games.

Cvs2 Roll Cancel tutorial!
Not sure if anyone below had said it, but if you ice grab with iceman on Armored up Colosus and ice beam right after it locks up the game.
There was also a glitch with Gambit Royale Flush super vs Servbot super with Gamma assist, where Gambit's super almost goes on forever. Easiest way to set it up is to do 3 Gambit vs 3 Servbot and just have them both do triple team super at the same time.
If I'm not mistaken, you can make the projectiles from guiles flash kick special stay on the screen?
I think there was another version of Magneto's dead body infinite where it doesn't scroll the screen as much. I'm not 100% on it, but I think it was ...>cr.SK>cr.RK>tri jump backwards>whiff sj.JP>...
It looks really funky, because you juggle with the end of the sweep (sending the opponent backwards over you) and then the whiffed air normal makes you land extremely quickly on the opposite side. I think it's mostly just done to show off, but I've heard it's easier to go into that off the ROM infinite than the one you showed 🙂
Also, I'm surprised you didn't show Tron glitch (though I guess "Capcom screwed up the damage done by Tron's y assist" isn't the most exciting glitch 😅)

Ok so is it possible to do the dead body glitch to assisted characters. Like say if you're opponent calls out a assist last second before dying. Could it be possible to use magnetos dash to stack the both of them?.

On the ruby heart glitch to freeze. I find it easier when you hold down and mash hp. To get the actual freeze. It looks like shes trying to come through the screen

It'd be even better if you get a intermediate or casual player who won't recognize them to play against you while doing glitches. Just give yourself a major handicap to keep it interesting. You can only super if its part of a glitch otherwise no supers. Something like that.
Wasn't there one with Venom that involved his super? I barely remember it now...
Not a 'glitch' per se, but I remember reading in a Tips N Tricks mag back in the day that one version of the game had a bug where the game would lock up whenever Sonson used her "POW!" super.
