That first face was so impressive he knew exactlyhow to fix it and it turned perfect
That husky gets right up on that limiter real quick.
Loved working in the woods, back in the 60's, 70's etc.....now I'm just too old.
That stihl freaking runs. So does that husky. Cedar is such nice wood. Little sketchy on the stump it seems like but it’s pretty stuff. Really cool video. Had to be fun working with guys that really know what they’re doing with big wood. Fun to watch and learn. Nice work. Always like watching your videos.
Hello Jake, hope you have a great rest of your day!
Good variety of tricky scenarios. Interesting to watch. Thanks.
Stihl saves a husky again!!!!
Outstanding video here Jacob! And, congratulations on the new, free saw!! Husky has always been my favorite 🤩
I’ll have to start watching you more now that you’re running a Husky… lol! Nice vid, Something to consider with the 592 to keep it off the limiter so much is running an 8 tooth sprocket or full comp chain. I run an 8 tooth on mine and full comp chain on a 36” bar and less and it handles it great. Keeps enough load on it to stay off the limiter so easily. They are great powerful saw, congratulations. It sounds good and Nick did a swell job on it
I was wondering if anyone was going to say this, I wanted to ask about banging it off the limiter like that all day, is probably not great. I have no experience with the 592 is that happening because it has a ton of power and is just making easy work of the cedar? And your idea with the 8 tooth and full house being more chain speed more teeth more load on the saw?
@@JDESTR0Y Yes more load on the saw, could possibly take more of his rakers as well.
Rakers a hair for sure need to test the ported torque we see there’s rpm lol
His trigger control is lacking for sure.
500k + subscribers Jacob. You’ve come a long way on the new channel since that video of the chainsaw idling for how many hours? Congrats again Jacob
Thank you 🙏
That is very true
@@GuiltyofTreeson thank you very much for all the video and I been learning a lot about the trees over past few months now okay and always be safe out there ok and I am just letting you know about that okay
In just about a year and a half or less (since starting his own channel)! It seems to this non professional viewer that 'logging' is very different game from 'cutting' down trees. Different techniques and plays in this game, and you picked it up well. Have to say (as a 3 time Stihl owner) I way prefer the tone of a Stihl over that raspy Husky. Great video Jakob
@@budlvr cool
I like Husqvarna saws because my dad has always had one. And to me the company feels more old school vibe to me, logger vibe. Andddd they are easy to start with seldom hissy fits after sitting.
While watching your video and enjoying an early morning coffee I noticed the difference between the two saws the Stihl and the ported Husqvarna was the Husky hit the rev limiter regularly! The Stihl just revved on through!
Your videos are ALWAYS interesting to me and a lot others Jacob
Definitely
That 592 is awesome!
Those 592's always sound like they're about to blow 😂
Ya he’s just got it totally pinned with absolutely zero load 😂
Great 👍 job Jacob
Love the new saw
Fireman 🔥🔥🔥
Wish id had a 36" bar on my 1975 Echo, it had a 28" bar and was great in most trees but the longer bar would have been nice to have- my biggest tree i fell was a 175ft Loblolly that was 6ft at chest high- pine beetles got into it and had to be removed, Liblollies are protected in my state so we had to get permission to take it down
Glad you got into a solid cedar @20:40. The first two were standing culverts.
Bless AWESOME 👏 Video. Really like those kind of jobs cause there’s much to learn. Keep ‘em coming. Thanks 😊
This video reminded me of Jed. From the Dutchman cut to the hard hat. Nice job Jake!
Nice vid. Love it when a Stihl rescues a Husky.
I thought this would be a video about tube salad...not felling trees! LOL Love the new boots! You have come a long way Jacob...keep up the good work and have fun while doing it!
Great job
Great video!
New boot goofin
You seam to always have such a good time no matter. Who you work with, great humor, such a professional in a young man
( rare ) don't change, great attitude, like all
Your video's, keep up great job, big fan...😏
The 592 sounds like a real ripper!
Just ordered the same bar but a 28" for my 572. Pretty pumped to get it in and slap her on lol.
Love your videos.
New saw, new boots, same old Jacob! 🤙
That's my dream saw bud.... Awesome
Nice STC hoodie!
Hey Jacob get yourself a ported 562 xp, throw on a 28” bar and you’ll never want to climb a tree with another saw ever again! The power to weight is amazing! Also another viewer brought up the idea of going to cut with bjarne butler which would be awesome! FYI he was the gentleman that Jed got the idea to make his axe and holder from
Dude, You got a truck! Congrats!
25:12 Wow that one in background sounds wild!
Cool video! Was wondering where you went. Had to fill my spare time with August vids😂 Thanks for posting!
I've gotta say, I LIKE how you cut branches Completely off, safest way. I see other tree removal vid's, they leave painful sharp stubs. I've seen them cut branch, leave 11" stub, then cut 6" off that, leaving 5" stub on trunk🤨🤔🙄🤷🤷🤷
Ripsaw does bad ass porting and custom muffler along with advanced timing they cut like hell there 592 xp is on steroids. I love that saw and husky is already a good saw.
Awesome video 👍🏼👍🏼
Yeah Man! Great vid!
That wasn't the arborist's/family man vehicle at the end!
Nice boots!
"Too much power it blew the tree apart". That is a great line
Love the intros. Have a good one 👍
Congratulations on The 500K t Subscribers 👏 😮
Man, what a nice saw for free. I love my husky.
The 592 is like nails on a chalk board. Have Gordy check and see if the timing has been advanced. If so, put it back to stock timing. It may help. As others have mentioned throw an 8 pin sprocket on it.
I think it's mostly him revving it too hard... You don't need full throttle when delimbing and stuff. I'd expect, that someone who works with saws on a daily basis would get a feel for the throttle needed for different scenarios.
i know right? it really sounds it's running rich and fourstrouking a lot, maybe it's just jetting maybe it is timing as you say. but i'm noticing a trend with the huskys that he brings on the channel, they really seem to never run as good as stihls, they just sound much better, wheter is throttle response or just screaming at high rpm.
Saws are built to be under a load if not there bouncing off the rev limiter. I agree. Easy on the throttle while bucking.
It probably just needs a more hungry chain. Or it's just a half dull factory grind with stock rakers...
He's still wet behind the ears but works hard and is gonna make a cutter if he keeps at .
Nice work guys. Your channel is informational & educated too. When cutting cedars have you ever wrapped the tree just above your cut so they don't split apart ? Thanks again for all you do !!!
Not really liking that port job on that saw. Maybe it'll improve after a bunch of tanks? To me, it sounds like a very narrow peak power band. That rev limiter is very annoying. Maybe it's as simple as tuning the chain to the saw? I'm happy you're enjoying it.
Now I'm hesitant to have red beard saws Port any of my chainsaws!!
I love watching your videos ❤ always knowledgeable I'm super excited about upcoming videos from Florida (where I live!) (Jax) I can finally watch you work on the same type of trees 🌳 I do more relatable
What Stihl were you running and was it stock or was work done. Not sure if you feel you Husky was running tip top, but what can you say, in your opinion, about it compared to the Stihl? Thanks.
That saw really grabs the rpms jeezzz
Watch as we put these products to the test in the real world and see how they perform
I live here in FL it’s cold rn too 🥶
Your buddy has some pretty interesting britches! What are those, logger capris? 😂😂😂 Anyways, a tip for your 592, throw and 8 pin drive sprocket on it. They are geared too low IMO. They piss rev constantly off the limiter unless your dogged in hard.
On the west coast we deal with lots of underbrush. We do this to avoid getting snagged and tripping over it. The seams of your pants are strong, so we cut them. we would rather rip and tear the pants than trip while packing a saw around.
I like the bison look my next pair is going to be the bison leather
Jacob, either that saw is running really rich OR your rakers are a little high OR it’s got a factory rev limiter that’s not compatible with the porting.
thought i was the only one who was gonna comment on this
Those saws have a factory electronic rev limiter, thats why it sounds weird. And they have a auto tune system that tunes it as you run it.
It also makes enough power that “little” stuff doesn’t even phase it.
yeah
There's a firewood channel on here, that I follow and his auto tune Husky's sound the exact same. I can't watch his firewood cutting only videos because it's hard to listen to the saw screaming the whole video. I'd for sure lower rakers, at the least and see if that helps tame it down a bit.
Nice boots ===Nice HUSKY
Nice bro
informative as usual. some nice, & not so nice, timber
Jesus that saw loves the rev limiter... nice vid Jake
I have nothing to say really, but I appreciate your content, and wish to help with the yt-algorithms.
Please do a review on the boots. Please and thank you.
Looks a great saw sorry. Great vid.
Have fun in Florida!!! Great video!! We need a couple pics of 8-pack...only if you think the "shock" won't hit us so hard we wake up last week!!!😝
Does he have a youtube channel? Congrats on 500k. U came to my neck of the woods im in Florida. Hope u had a good time while u were here and i cant wait to see some videos from your Florida trip.
Where do they sell the west coast faller Jean capris? Are you gonna carry those on @sappysupplies?
Jake, make a ratcheting bar wrench, I’ll buy it from you, and then call it the worlds greatest! Lol another great video as always. Be safe brother.
Some badass logging techniques going on there guys!
Bad yes very bad
Man I want that bar on my 572xp
That other dude looks so old school but in a new school way. I Iike his style!!
he's clearly a badass. knows his stuff and looks cool while doing it
@@jaysonstinson9458 no doubt!!
That saws getting on limiter real quick
Husqvarna 592 xp 7.6 bhp 92.7 cc 9600 max rpm weight 16.8 lbs 55mm bore 39mm stroke
Stihl 661 7.2 bhp 91.1cc 9500 max rpm weight 16.5 lbs 56mm bore 37mm stroke
ok
Not surprised Husky gave you a saw, they were seeing too much Stihl on your channel! lol
The 592 is an awesome saw but I can only take so much of the WOT blasting out the speakers.
Need a ratchet screwrench they fit under the wrap
ive always had stihl and used them but it seems to me husky holds rpm a little better threw a cut than stihl. i have just a plain ole 450 rancher and 3 stihl saws. i like the husky about the best personally
I'm 14 years old and I have a Still MS-440
Jacob I wish you'd give the 592 it's due credit, and properly review it. These saws are off there head! We have 3x 592's, a 572, 372, 3120xp and nothing compares to that 592xp. I'm falling trees all day everyday and love it!
Huskys are the best made saws to me
How many trees were growing together in that last co-dominant tree that was cut down? It looked there were more than two. I noticed that with the brush still on the trees, they don’t make the satisfying thump they do when they are just a stick.
Did u get a new ride? Big trees brother
hey jacob, congratz on 500k subs! also you look so young all of a sudden did you trim your beard or get a haircut?
Hey. love your films, learned so much by looking at your films. i have a quastion. What sawpant are you using?
Hey Jacob, you have to get back to Europe and do a working meet up with Felixia Banck then we can have a Husky and a Stihl ambassador in the same video.
another awesome vid but your editor has gotta turn the volume down on that saw.... can't hear a word you say after running that saw!
Hi Jacob, thanks for all the good videos. Could you please tell us about what type of axe you carry around while felling trees (weight, length, etc.) ?Thank you in advance!
It’s a 4 pound Plum national on a 26 inch hickory West Coast saw handle
11:56 I like watching this guy, he reminds me of BBR.😊
its so much easier cutting big timber like 30 inch ranges is the best you can cut it easy you have room for wedges bar you can do anything you want i work in my parents forest on my days off we have a thinning biggest trees there are around 16-20 inches at best and yeah i used 15 inch bar to cut anything in there also did some jobs mainly the big hounds after i cut the lot with a harvester and it was just easier and safer that way so i used 15 inch bar for all years ive held a saw thats about 4 years now and just a few weeks ago upgraded to 18 inch bar and oh its nice im abou 6foot 6 or 7 and its pretty bar when i was in school i was given a husqy 545 with a13 inch bar and it was horrible bending to limb the trees one good thing was i didnt get the big trees ive cut alot of 36-40 inch trees with a 15 inch bar the biggest one ive cut was 45 inches and it was horrible to buck the damn thing but yeah it was cool falling as a job specieally when i trew the lever i used and got myself a wegde and right after that i broke a brand new axe didnt even mis strike and still blew the damn fing into 2 pieces a stihl ax 200 or something like that i really need a wood handled axe
I like the boot's and the saw's! Where can I get a pair of those Bison boot's? The leather look's really soft?
I’m looking to purchase a new saw for felling trees, but have not had experience trying different saws owned by others. Please recommend some saw models that you would recommend and if possible Frank them 1, 2, 3rd place choice of your own. Thank you. I’m not set in stone for any specific manufacture’s brand.
I was a two stroke marine mech for 25 years. these saws rip.
592 xp With matt bar beautiful saw ❤
But Stihl 661 not bad saw, Stil saw worker have best skill 💪
Very good young sky Walker
Have fun in Florida Jacob. Is that big brush pile getting burned or chipped ??
Way to go Jacob pinched your brand new saw on the first cut🤣😂
Hey Jacob, what setting do you have your GoPro on? Like I mean, 4K 30 activity? 4k6o? Or what? If you don’t mind me askin! awesome content as per usual! Keep it up. Stay safe. Rock on 🤘
I wanna hear that saw run .404 chain. I think she can take it
Husqvarna made by Sweden 😎👌 maybe someday Husqvarna send me a 592 xp when my channel gets big 😀🙏
How can I find the boots, at their site, with the logging cleats? what made you choose their boots over other choices? Thank you.
Nice boots bison hide is tuff looks better the cow hide👍
Give me that caulk boy
