Gears of war 2 campaign was bomb! Moving deep underground to fight the locust in their home was an amazing experience. Let's hope this game will entice new and past players. I couldn't think of a more fitting introduction to old characters that may appeal to a new generation of players than with a prequel. Hopefully...they don't screw this up with their greedy fingertips lol.
lmao yeah that's easily my 2nd biggest worry next to the campaign. I'd rather see DLC packs with maps and stuff than in-game shops and battlepasses. I'm tired of live service games monetization.
My opinion i feel the same with the campaign as well. This is E-day pretty much the day the locust emerged to the surface and slaughtered everyone. I don't want this with gears of war 4 and 5 writing. Just tell a dark story that we can come back to; as for a second thing, it would be good to have beast mode again.
Overall, those are the only two i want for E-day
Love it and agree, especially if they bring back the dark, Gears of War 1 vibes. Beast mode would be really cool to see in a more gruesome environment, being able to tear people in half and squish people to a bloody pulp. It would be very interesting to see in a darker more grim setting. Super appreciate you being here and love hearing someone say they want Beast mode. Not super in tune with the Gears community so I wasn't sure how popular the mode was.
@yourstatistacs beast mode is definitely something a lot of people in the gears community want back, I enjoyed it when it came to gears of war 3, I think it was the most demand mode to return since... gears of war 4 before it release and 5 as well.
There's also something I'd like to add for the campaign that I hope to see for E-day, that being the dark moments and emotional moments, such from Dom since.... well not sure I wanna spoil it but it does have to do with his family obviously.
@@BanishedSilentShadow3318 I definitely want them to explore more with Dom and that whole thing, I appreciate the not spoiling for those of whom may not know. I really hope they explore a lot of things that we already know the ending to such as the situation with Dom, I feel things like that will definitely make for a darker tone and leave a feeling of doom. So excited to see more of this eventually, hope Coalition cooks with this one.
