This international legal expert is not saying all the truth. The gender rights she is talking about is it based on African concept or European concept? The agreement is based on the assumption of the European Union concept. Remember, she started by saying that European Union says that on these six facts are the agreement is built on. So, this agreement is written by the European Union and expected the wretched countries including Nigeria to endorse the agreement. Yes, European Union can bypass our constitution meaning our sovereignty to enforce this stupid and foolish multilateral agreement, which Western governments have been trying to impose on Nigeria. The desperation of Tinubu’s government to get Nigeria out of deep economic hole, which his political leadership and the former president, Buhari have placed the country due to their bad domestic economic policies have completely destroyed our country.

That little boy that calls himself a lawyer seems not to understand the implication of the gender equality clause.
Does he know the present meaning of gender equality or even understand the humongous troubles Americans are presently grappling with due to acceptance of gender equality? l think not, or he knows, but has been paid to euphemize the gender equality issue by talking of seemingly juicy benefits; "benefits" which ultimately cause harm, like sugar does to a diabetes patient. SMH

I don't see anything wrong with the agreement, everyone just making a mountain out of nothing tbh, things like this draws a nation backwards...

. . . The minister (Bagudu) further said, "There was nowhere in the document where you will see $150bn" . . .
    Bagudu’s spokesman Bolaji Adebiyi said, “. . . What Bagudu signed was about a $150 billion trade component.” . . .
Parties however reached a compromise . . . Subsequently, LGBT rights were expunged from the final agreement and replaced with “gender equality”. Specifically, Article 2, clause 5 of the final agreement stated that “the parties shall systematically promote a gender perspective and ensure that gender equality is mainstreamed across all policies” (channelstv).

@@GraceTruth7 , yet, they are still denying the fact. My question is “the parties shall systematically promote a gender perspective and ensure that gender equality is mainstreamed across all policies.” Is this not very clear to uneducated. To whose perspective, European Union or Nigeria? My understanding of gender equality from the Western world perspective is in absolute support of LGBT rights. I don’t understand the high sounding nonsense government spokespersons are trying to push Nigerians to a stupor state of thinking.
