- Had this sitting in the tabs for a little bit, man this thing is siiiick!! On the longer side from the usual punk demo but as I listened I was excited to hear how it filled out and they did it really well. A heater all the way through
The second song is fukin awesome, love the riffs on that one in particular but please listen to the whole dang thing, it's all good! The mix makes this sound a little like black metal no? Idk but it's workin, EVERYTHING is workin, love this tape. Mantis is a punk band from Öresund, Sweden/Denmark

I recently saw a cityscape-photo book, designed for graffiti artists to tag all the buildings and billboards.....it was really dope.
DADGUMMIT, THIS RIPS! Yeah, that second track definitely hits the spot but I got kinda' stuck on the opener, with that "mosh-pit-choo-choo-type-beat". I love the angry, urgent, shrieking vocal style. Tonally, the vocalist KINDA' reminds me of a more "refined" Mike IX Williams (if that makes any sense). The delay over those vocals tracks is rather well done here, too. This thing definitely isn't shy about coming at you FAST, which is something I'm very much appreciative of, when it comes to music of this ilk. I wish bands like this played in my neck of the woods. Perhaps they DO and I'm just not "in the know" enough. I'm definitely getting this off their bandcamp. I imagine physical copies of this thing have all been eaten up by now. heh Killer stuff, for sure! \m/

@@eman0name I'm not hating, Its an excellent band, though the vocal eco makes it hard to listen to as it washes over everything. If that was fixed I'd listen more often. I think they are creating the Devil Master vocal feel which is very col, though Devil Master don't have the constant eco. Echo can be cool when used to embellish word endings for effect though.
