We were up there 3 weeks ago! Not only found beautiful agate and opal filled petrified wood but found an abandoned stray husky dog running into traffic near town. Cops said the area was a big dumping ground for unwanted dogs! He is not chipped. All the shelters are full! Left notices in town, So we’re
keeping him! Never know what you will find when Rockhounding! 💚

There is some nice wood there, and some crap wood too. Takes a bit of exploring to find the good stuff. Nice to see you out there again. Pretty soon it will be too hot up there to dig. Also, if you collect little pieces, it tumbles real pretty. Thanks for taking us along!!
