Can you please give examples of where you'd want to use the , hold back option vs. the night latch option? Thank you.

The "hold Back" is electric dogging. This holds the push pad down and the device unlocked during a specific time period. The electric dogging is often used during working hours to allow people to come and go without having to swipe a card, enter a code in a key pad use a mechanical key etc. If installed on a fire rated door then the power supply should be hooked to the fire alarm system. If the fire alarm is triggered then the power supply cuts the power to the exit device and causes it to extend the latch, thus looking the door.

How do you adjust the bottom rod to stop dragging?

You should be able to adjust the hex bolt to bring it up a bit. I would call into tech support for more details. Thanks for the future video idea!

@@commandaccess We tried spraying WD40 from the top and that seemed to fix the problem on 2 doors. We're in an arid climate with dust, so when it got dried it wasn't resetting properly at the top and that seemed to be causing the drag at the bottom.
