The scary thing about Gholdengo is that it may have a connection to the Treasures of Ruin that destroyed the ancient Paldean Kingdom, as we never knew what happened to the merchant that sold the Treasures of Ruin to the king. We only know that the merchant was practically buried in gold...

@@AdamNaipaul-lc4sg I know people love him as a villain, and it's a possibility I hadn't considered. However, the fact that there's a theory out there that it was not, in fact, Volo that sold the Treasures of Ruin, but rather a random merchant who ended up becoming Gimmighoul/Gholdengo, is kinda creepy. And even if it was Volo, perhaps that means both theories could be true, so as punishment for his crimes, Arceus cursed him to be a Pokemon to be used by humans, after Volo tried so hard to get to the point of playing God. It'd be chillingly ironic.
The truly scary thing about Gholdengo is how trash it's Shiny is.
That's the case for a lot of pokemon

Gengar can lick its prey, it's saliva will paralyze and slowly kill.
Gengar is known to target humans at random.
Dude ever since the anime episode Scare at the Litwick Mansion, I've been terrified of that Pokemon. Just the fact they were slowly draining the lifeforce of Team Rocket throughout the episode making them look like zombies and they nearly killed everyone by dragging them into the Spirit World. Easily the darkest episode of the BW arc.

That Grievard is so damn sad because it doesn't seem to want to, it clearly just wants to have fun with hooman, but it can't stop itself.
According to the pokedex, Grievard was once a living puppy pokemon that remembers the good times it had with it's owners. Because of this, it searches for a human to be friends with, but it doesn't realize that just being around it will slowly drain the life force of anyone near.
Can be just feeding, should learn to pay attention not to exceed.
Giratina in particular was based on the japanese deity Izanami (to be more precise her afterlife form), the Pokedex of Diamond and Pearl confirms that originally, it was a Pokemon more related to the afterlife (he supposedly appared mostly near cemeteries) rather than the personification of antimatter he is know for today.
So basically Giratina was once a normal Pokémon before it basically became a literal god
@@GrimReaper_TTV It was still based on a Goddess thought, but instead of Antimatter it was the afterlife (the afterlife is almost always described as a place were time and space cease to matter as a place of infinity)
Maybe in Pokemon lore, the afterlife is anti-matter.

Here's something I realized while watching this video: There's only 73 ghost type pokemon when there are more than 1000 now so one of my favorite types got robbed

Right as you said the dusclops creepypasta, the soap dispenser behind me fell and words cannot explain the Fight or Flight reaction I just had. My soul just left my body. Awesome vid
But it’s said in Pokémon that there is nothing inside a dusclops just a void, or maybe an abyss that can steal your body, mind and soul without any trace left behind in the mortal plane like a spiritual singularity or a black hole, not to mention its also said that the inside of their bodies are hollow with an infinite expanse or so it’s said spread around as rumors since nobody has been brave enough to test these speculations and find out we so in conclusion, don’t need a creepy pasta to understand terror because the Pokémon cannon has got us covered already good try though.
Technically the scariest thing about calyrex shadow is its raw firepower in battle.

That's not the only lie in this video. He's so desperate to stretch for 'scary' stuff in a kids game that doesn't have much scary stuff that he is forced to outright lie.
The official website does mention "Hisuian Typhlosion is usually gentle and pacifistic. However, once angered, it loses control of its emotions and incinerates opponents until not even ashes remain".

The problem with ghost type mons is that all of these creepy tales don't seem possible since they reproduce. Am I really supposed to believe that ghost mons are dead people when they can pump out eggs by the dozen? Are there human souls waiting in line to be added to the pile as ghost mons bang? Will breeding ghost mons in the daycare cause massacres of innocent people dying just so more ghost mons can be born (like in a humorous comic about breeding Yamask)? How can every Gastly be made of souls of those who died from poison gas when there is a finite amount of people who have died from poison gas and an infinite amount of Gastlys that can be born in the daycare? That is the scariest thing about all Ghost mons........The lore makes no sense....

I think the idea is that sometimes these Pokemon come into existence this way, not that every single one does. Like how there was a boy that became a Kadabra one day. Not that every Kadabra was once a boy with ESP.

I always thought that the typing for alolan marowak was due to it been unalived which explains its ghost typing and the fire typing for me would be the vengeance of it been unalived
Always saw Alolan Marowak as alive; but it learned a necromantic ghost dance to summon and talk to ghosts.
