23:19 Actually, despite not being flying AND not really have actual wings... Garchomp is described as being able to fly according to the pokedex and has flown in the Anime.
And it's shown flying in the camping in Sword&Shield, it's doing it all the time.

to add to this it also flies as it follows you in bdsp in the overworld. i think one of the dex entries says its as fast as a jet in the sky.
21:45 actually i think that terrastilizng still gives you the stab bonus of your original type, just not the defensive bonuses

It gives the resistances of the new Tera type, same with the immunities and weaknesses. But your stab stays from your original type. :)

I disagree. In primapes pokedex, it said it sometimes killed itself. I think it was based on that
@@yoink9779 in it's old pokedex is said it can get so angry that it has a heart attack and dies, at which point is the only time a peaceful look can be seen on its face. I know that is exactly what inspired it lol. Im just clowning.

I did the same thing! Game has really overpowered ghost types. Even the hardest battles just end up with your last Pokémon being houndstone and just spamming last respects.
Or setting up with Annihilape, taking a bunch of hits and firing back with 300 power rage fist xD
Fr i kept just doing not effective attacks and then hit em all with the rage fists then boom elite 4 done
Ghost is arguably the most op type this gen, at least offensively

Sprigatito was my starter because I am a cat person.
I also once saw a meme on Reddit that was Pokémon scarlet and violet but instead it was Pokémon Mommy Issues and Pokémon Daddy Issues. The next panel was Arven crying.

The only pure ghost types are not of this gen and most of this gen are evoed into Ghost types.
Literally all the best pokemons are ghost in this gen. It was a pain in the ass since I loved skeledirge, ceruledge, annihalape, and gholdengo but could only choose one since I prioritized type diversity in my team. So I just went with spirgittito since Ceruledge was on the top of my list

@@hodorhodor6925 oh boy i had the exact same problem. ended up just going with whatever mons i liked rather than balancing my team, so i had mismagius (my ace whenever it's available), skeledirge (best final evo starter this gen imo), and ceruledge (enough said). i think my other mons were killowattrel, firagarif, and grafaiai, the latter two being new mons i totally wanted to try, and killowattrel starting out as filler because i planned my team without knowing paradox mons were locked behind post game (i wanted iron valiant) but i ended up growing attached to the giant electric bird

Love all the new ghosts: badass looking team! God the endgame is so good...the last mission makes up for all of the technical issues the game has, otherwise--at least for me.
Nice seeing someone using Violet. Despite Violet being the "favorite", most Poketubers I've seen that played S&V, played Scarlett for their channel purposes and Violet for their personal use.

Seriously one of my most favorite Pokétubers ever and my favorite Pokémon from Gen 9 is probably Annihilape.
I love this game, but i got paralyzed by EVERYTHING!! Which is interesting because this is the first game where i’ve noticed NPC’s and wild pokémon take advantage of status effects. I also pretty much beat this game only using Annihilape as soon as I could get my hands on one

This is funny to me because I considered playing Violet as a Ghostlocke.
I decided to do an all-birds non-Nuzlocke run instead, since I just love all of the Gen 9 birds so much.
Gholdengo is a very good Pokémon plus it’s design looks rad, too bad it’s shiny sucks. Also if you let that Pokémon roam around with you it surfs on a wave of gold coins. That’s like super cool plus I read it’s entry in Scarlet that Gholdengo is really friendly and will make friends to anyone.

@@biancaarmstrong5097 It’s not really that hard if you go out of your way to find as many chests as you can. There are a *lot,* and they have a 1 in 50 chance of respawning each in-game day. Plus you’ll find a lot of other cool stuff as you look for chests, and every watchtower not only has a chest but gives you a flying taxi stop.
yo, just a tip but when you terrastilize only the weaknesses for that pokemon change, say if you have a ceruledge and tera it into a fire type, it wont have the weaknesses of a ghost type but ghost type moves will still be stab on that ceruledge
I actually beat the game with the same exact team, making a mono ghost playthrough team second time in a row (after completing legends arceus with hisuian typhlosion, zoroark, basculegion, mismagius, rotom and froslass). Really fun

You get malicious armor by going to a town called Zapapico and you should see a fountain there and a old lady will give you the armor if you have ten sinistea chips and you can only use it on charcedet
You know that scripted fight in the end?
If you use X Spec Def twice, your Dragon can easily tank the attacks of the other and with X Spec Att, you can get strong enough to kill it with ease.
BUT! If you try this, after a few turns, your poke will Terastilize WITHOUT CONSENT and win anyways...

Something you said during the Clavell battle was wrong, the annihalape still gets STAB from rage fist whilst being terastalized to a fighting type, terastalising just gives you an additional boost to that specific type on top of STAB

Ceruledge is just a mad beast if you use him correctly and that you’re lucky. I remember for the Elite Four, Geeta, Nemona, and Prof. Turo, I just set up 3 Swords Dance and then Bitter Blade did the rest, even if they were resistant against it. Ceruledgu op
No offence, but a plus 6 boost on nearly any Pokémons attack stat makes them op
I set up swords dance once on it, so a +2 in attack
It still OHKO'd or 2 hit KO'd everything save for terra raids. +6 is just way too much, and risks you dying while setting up. Ceruledge isn't that fast lol
But bitter blade and shadow claw cleaved through nigh anything. The prof got swept, I demolished the e4 wyn ceruledge was used, and the champion stood no chance

You know that you could just evolve charcadet early and not in the level 40s by just using the sinistea in zapapico and to get more to spawn in just use the sandwich that boosts ghost encounters

Fuecoco is the most ghost esc evolution tree of the three starters as its last form looks like a skeleton which is undead, is that why you chose him or you just thought he was cool

ghost types are my favorite so i usually do this already play every game lmao almost every time other than of course the physic gym so i just get another physic Pokémon to have a even battle

This has inspired me to do my own type only run, but with fairy instead of ghost. My rules were only use fairy type pokemon on your team, the only exception being my starter and they all must be nicknamed.

I can’t play this game b/c I don’t have a switch (😕), but if I could I’d pick Sprigatito because he was the one I was interested in from the beginning. Also, I hate Fuecoco’s middle evo and both of Quaxly’s evolutions (Quaxly himself is pretty great, though)
I love that once you realized that you weren't going to be able to do a nuzlocke, you just stopped doing it in order to have fun. Not a lot of people have the courage to do that in a video.

I did infact take Quaxley as my starter so fitting in your call to action that was it's option. I did have to laugh because when I saw your character he looked exactly like mine ( except mines frowning since when I made my character on launch day, I thought it would be funny to do that.) Got sad some news an hour later and so he's now a sad boy permanently.
you can change you characters looks! if you press the left button on the D pad to get to the outfit changing place, and then press + to change looks :) (i think that should be it anyway)

You could've just farmed the armor asap so that you had less trouble with the gym leaders in the early game ?(could've done the same with gimmighoul but would've been hard to enforce the level cap while doing that)

There are many small kids portrayed as trainers in the games. Since at least gen 5 when they introduced preschooler trainers.
But the school kid trainers of gen 2 and the poke kids of gen 4 already look younger than 10.

Garchomp actually isn't only a land shark in its pokedex description it says it can fly faster than a jet
becuase houndom has a pokedex entry that says his flames dont burn out he should have and ability where when he hits a fire move it always burns the opponent

I think the only thing that bothers me about new pokemon games is that they keep stealing my cool names for moves and new pokemon. I always named my Gallade "Valiant or Valiance". I used to name ho-oh FireSong. There's a few others 😂

29:19 the main character is probably 120-130 pounds, some people can carry someone of this weight category but in that situation with him just holding onto the wrist he would have to be very strong. Though he could have some adrenaline on his side due to the fall. I know some people are strong without looking it and that may be the case for Arven
