I didn't like your "Scariest things in Pokemon" Halloween video several years back because I thought it was a bit too creepy. The Buried Alive section of that video gave me nightmares. Let's see how this goes...
i always figured the reason random items are laying on the ground was because a trainer simply dropped it (cause these are children and they are known to lose things) or it fell out a hole in their bag

Good thing you missed one lore In Pokemon Firered and Leafgreen after defeating Blaine , you will meet Bill who will take you too Sevii islands. In one of the side quests, there is a girl who is lost in the cherry bush and is actually captured by a hypno
This makes me have second thoughts when it comes to evil teams like team rocket. They could easily use hypno to kidnap people and do human trafficking on a large scale via capturing and stealing drowzee

You forgot to mention that Buriedalive is a Pokémon creepypasta, not an actual theory or myth. It could be a Levander Town Syndrome kind of situation where it became so widespread people started believeing it, but it's definitely only a creepypasta

In fact, the official explanation for the infamous Dexit of Galar is because despite looking beautiful, Galar is actually heavily polluted (which led to many Pokemon that didn’t make the Dexit becoming extinct in Galar due to being unable to live in the deceptively toxic environment).
Some people theorize that the large number of Ghost Pokemon in Kalos had something to do with the infamous superweapon Team Flare is trying to awaken.
When I caught a Drowzee, I named it Sleeper-097, witch is a reference to the shirt you are talking about.
Fun fact for the glowing eyed painting in the orginal diamond/pearl. If you had leaf green/fire red sloted in the bottom of the Ds, then interacted with the painting a gengar would appear to battle

I was completely fine until Dobbs said something about Mewtwo having used the bones of the scientist's for the robotic arms. That really caught me off guard, and it just kept getting creepier from there.
I think MatPat made a theory about how we actually never killed Red's raticate but rather he switched it out due to the change of what level his raticate was
I mean, it’s almost like he wanted to be champion, and having a Raticate on his team is kinda counterintuitive to that
Blue probably left Raticate in the box, because Blue wanted to be the very best champion he wants to be.
The theory actually stated that this Ratekete couldn’t have been the same Ratata from the earlier fight, since it’s 4 levels below the evolution level. So he must’ve swapped it out for a wild one, which was later swapped again for an Exeggutor.

@@roonkolos well it could be a similar case of fully evolved wild Pokemon that are potentially underleveled. Like in LGPE Dragonite spawn high in the air, you just can’t reach them without something that can fly. Who’s to say they haven’t always been there?
Sword and shield also has a ghost girl.
On hammerlock (I think it's hammerlock) a little girl asks you to bring a letter to someone in whatever town the fairy type gym is in. Once you bring it to an old man there he says the old letter is from a childhood friend who grew Ill and passed away. When you go back to where the little girl was in hammerlock she is missing

Good spooky videos, I love it. Though I'll add more, mostly from mystery dungeon worlds.
1. Darkrai using Dialga to stop time is just plain evil. Not only it got a "unaliving itself" theme, It's also believed that the main character (which actually a human) may have been died during the return to the past and reborn as a Pokemon. This is why they don't remember anything when they're a human, and only remember the name, and that they used to be human.
2. Literal Afterlife in Super Mystery dungeon. Your character literally died from Yveltal's attack. And the afterlife looks like a hellish landscape with shadows lurking in the dark. Not to mention if the player fail to defeat the boss, that particular Pokemon world will be destroyed by its own star/its sun.
Also, "you can't turn stone into stone".

Yveltal is literally a god of death. If brock was one then we are super lucky he has such a pure heart that he never used his ability to lets say take over the region.
The first one is actually my headcanon for all my PMD protagonists.
The Explorer's hero (PMD2) probably drowned.
So Wally is dead, we murdered Raticate, Darkrai turned a girl into past tense, a war is the reason Ash has no dad and Pokémon zombies and ghost girls are among us.....
Edit: OMG, that theory of Calyrex's steed being a deceased Rapidash makes so much sense, I can't look at Glastrier and Spectrier the same way now.

Wally is not dead. You can battle against him over and over in Victory Road.
Raticate is not dead he was just placed in a pc.
Blue want to be the best so he seeks for the best pekemon for his team like Rhydon or Alakazam so he ditched him moment he became useless for him
@@blackcat5333 A lot of icebergs employ ridiculous speculation, such as the rematches with Wally being a battle against his ghost, or that the removal of Raticate could have literally either explanation. The point is not necessarily just to show the spooky stuff in the franchise, but also to show how convoluted fan theories can get (which are, technically, possible, even though they're not likely to be the case imo).
Loved the video, but wasn't it heavily implied in the SwSh manga that Soudo's (Henry's) personality shfit wasn't necessarily because of Eternatus's poison but rather because he had been masking his true intentions the entire time?
That would honestly make for a better story! The story in the SwSh Manga thus far has been pretty boring.

Another theory about Alolan Marowak my brother came up with was that a depressed Cubone jumped into a volcano and died, evolving into Alolan Marowak, which would explain it's ghost and fire typing.
Why does everyone think Blue's Raticate died? Blue is a smart trainer and, by the time you reach Lavender Town Raticate has far outlived its usefulness.

I really recommend checking the whole quest but to put it simple, it's theorized that Hypno actually tried to protect those children for being taken away by drifloon, but it failed

I discovered another theory recently. In the Sinnoh games, the place where the Cave of Origin is located is a fourth lake called the Sendoff Spring. Cynthia mentions that the place was a secret, but did you ever wonder why? A theory implies that seeing the way that bridge stops above the lake, this was a place were people came to jump and commit suicide. What do you think of this theory?

Talking about rare candies in Pokemon Go, another piece of evidence is that field research for transferring Pokemon to the professor would result in a ghost type encounter reward.
The brilliant diamond and shining Pearl portrait was in the original as well. But it was more vague.
Not the only connection between Cubone and Kangaskhan. It was confirmed with the Pokemon Green Beta that Marrowack was supposed to evolve into Kangaskhan.

Barry is the only rival that has a dad in Diamond, Pearl and platinum being Palmer. Red and blue come but in sun and moon, and so does Cynthia so there is a connection to the non gimmick universe unless they are a different version of those characters.
I really love the voice you did but I have one complaint. I know you were doing your job with the blue's Raticate bit but I think Blue's just smart enough to not use a Raticate by the time he's at the 4th badge

Blue’s Ratekete theory can’t be true. Ratata evolves at level 20, but this Ratekete is only level 16. So he must’ve caught a wild Ratekete that he swapped his Ratata out for, which was later swapped again for an Exeggutor.
10:03 no idea if this is true or not but apparently the old chateau was once Gardenias childhood home and the ghosts were her father and sister
When Gardenia found out her sister would be made the next gym leader not her she attempted to scare her father and sister by mildly poisoning them but she used the wrong amount and killed them by accident
This would explain why you can find an antidote item in the bin in one of the rooms of the chateau and why Gardenia during the post game can be found outside of the pathway leading up to the chateau and refuses to enter the building
It also said the Rotom you can find inside the TV was once her father's Pokemon and witnessed what happened to its trainer

Also usually for relatives of important characters they make a new model. Also gardenia did explain that she was just scared of the ghost types inside of it.

I like to think of MissingNo as the W.D.Gaster of Pokemon. A pokemon that, after a failed experiment, was broken between reality, explaining its reality breaking nature, the location close to the lab, and the weird forms it can take, proving it shouldn't exist anymore, yet refusing to disappear

i feel like the destroyed universe theory would connect to regional variants, i feel like in this new timeline of the pokemon games regional variants are the originals, if they existed in the other universe i think people would import them just like the “og” variants are imported to regions where the variants are from (i don’t know if that makes sense and it’s honestly a big stretch)
But, if Giovanni unlived himself, then why is he with Rainbow Team Rocket and in Let's GO Eevee and Pikachu? Unless if Giovanni had a failed episode. Maybe he tried to do the unexpected but his Pokémon saved him at the last moment? We don't know Dobbs, but Giovanni is very much well alive.

10:13 In my AU cheryll is actually dead. someone had a vhs recording of looking for her but found her dead body and the remains of her chansey. Then,gardenia went inside the old chateau and got rid of the ghosts just by talking to them. Today the chateau is now a historical landmark. Cheryll and her chansey's remains were buried right next to chateau entrance.

In case the buriedalive thing wasn’t obvious, it’s just a myth.
In the case of "The war" its possible that it was a long dragged out war. And the reason for allowing 10yr olds to venture out is that they were what was left and now the children have to repopulate and only way doing so is by traveling. If you notice there is no talk of money being spent/earned except in games and they have free movement, lodging, health care, and other amenities at the Pokémon centers

Yeah the DP episode with that ghost/demon girl really scared me when I was a kid, but now I want to see more to it. It could be portraited as theme for new game (I mean pokemon hell and pokemon satan would be so cool, we already have Arceus as God and Giratina as Lucifer/Fallen angel so this would be perfect conclusion).

The Silent Hill reference was likely just a placeholder name for New Bark Town before they decided on an official name. The real-life equivalent of New Bark Town is the city of Shizuoka (静岡), which literally translates to "silent hill".
In the Manga of Pokemon adventures, we didn't hear about the much of the full story of the aura guardians, and in anime , we found only few clue about it. So can you make full documentry about the Aura gaurdians and what era do they exist and why do they exist then why only Ash is related to it instead of those other protagonist. ( Well in the Manga, they are some people do exist which extraordinary supernatural ability)

I like the theory of the war cuz it kinda gives a reason for why when the introduce a new generation its all new pokemon that aren't known by everyone. The region isn't new to the pokemon world but maybe certain regions didn't interact for a long time because of the war
