I would love you see you sculpt a panda bear with bamboo 🙏
I use to work with simplisafe here in Massachusetts
Ok
SANDBAGS! My home building channel is cancelled since Biden liked the name but when I used to do stone sculpture Sandbags were how I help irregular shapes from moving around the work surface. Make bags from denim pants legs and sew up the ends, add sand and close up. For scratch prevention on final polish put sand bags inside CROWN ROYAL BAGS. I like your work. Be Blessed
I’d love to see a project where you carve a scene into the wood before pouring the epoxy. For example, create a forest clearing with a hut on the wood, then pour the epoxy and carve the whole thing into a turtle!
Thats a good idea!
Ooo I would love to see a turtle with some sort of forest scene in it! Not asking for much though 😂😉 I do feel if anyone can bring all that to reality this man can!
Awesome ... I had a similar idea with an alligator ... and inside the scene is another alligator that is a mimic of the larger scene ... in the spirit of a Russian nesting doll. A turtle would be cool just the same. And then a Tree ... yeah a tree with a tree inside it ... it could be a scene of scenes ... that would be ridiculous. Yeah ... a tree with an swamp scene with a turtle and an alligator. It could be just an fallen tree trunk ... or go crazy. Might be hard to pull off without feeling too gimmicky ... but if anyone could do it ... challenge?
Awesome idea. Having a forest on the back inside the epoxy would be amazing!!
Kind of like a snow globe!
Your ability to flawlessly merge wood and epoxy in your sculptures mesmerizes me every video!
Thank you so much 😀 Everything starts with the shape of the wood, from there I try and make the epoxy wood blend in certain areas of the sculpture, like the head.
That is a gorgeous piece!
My old neighbour would spend countless hours carving and sanding sculptures from narwhal tusk, sword fish, ivory, stone, wood and a whole bunch of other materials.
The amount of money raised from doing pieces like this is insane, but the joy he would get from finishing pieces that were absolutely stunning, was worth more to him. He never said that to me, but I could tell by how he would stare at the pieces after and the look he had when he would part with them.
I personally like the running commentary. I like to know what you are doing and why. I like to dabble in woodworking/art so learning from guys like you is helpful to me. Thank you.
After finding your channel I binge-watched all your videos. Gotta say that your sculptures are extremely beautiful. Your editing has improved aswell! Keep up the good work
Thank you so much! Thanks for the editing insight as well! I have transitioned my videos into more "artsy" I guess??? haha
Wow!! such Amazing sculptures. I'm a big fan. Would it be possible to do a video on your personal journey ?
I was going to, but the NFTs made me ditch it.
I find it so cool that someone can use such a stereotypically imprecise tool and use it to make such beautiful art like this! Great work!
I just watched the previous video on the rhino, i was so excited to see the end result i didnt comment. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge on epoxy pouring & the types of wood you use. As i expected the rhino turnd out AMAZING! Love watching your videos, ive learnt so much.
Thank you for adding the toot. I think we all genuinely appreciated that..
Amazing video. Beautiful product. Love your work and your skills. Respect from U.S!
Thank you!
@@BMSculptures He is from the U.S. too so i am not sure this comment makes sense.
THAT IS AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!!! THE TALENT YOU HAVE TO CREATE THESE SCULPTURES IS WOW!!!!
Absolutely beautiful! When this much blood sweat and probably tears goes into any art, it's priceless. So cool man!!!
What a brilliant piece of sculpture of a magnificent animal. It's beautiful. And seeing it all from start to finish was truly lovely. Thank you for the artistry and for producing the video. I'm a new fan.
"it will be featured on a new nft marketplace" ah. great. so exciting.
Thank you, Top Comment
I can’t tell if this is sarcastic or not 😐
@@criticalpotato5204 It's sarcasm. NFTs are awful. This is not sarcasm
Agreed
NFTs are a scam lol
That came out so beautiful! I love the wood you chose and the choice to use it's natural beauty. It's amazing watching a block of wood and epoxy resin turn into such a detailed creature. You have amazing talent.
Love ur work … please don’t stop creating
When you started carving with that big saw, I thought it's not going to work, but it did! Absolutely stunning piece of art.
Another incredible sculpture, Blake! Love your work!
That tail and horn work was making me nervous..you nailed it again of course😄.. vote for future build: Bighorn Sheep/Ram bust
you and me both lol! A ram would look really cool!
I like hearing you comment on the process then the finished result
You are just amazing!!! You blew my mind with this piece! I love rhinos and the combination between wood and epoxy worked incredibly well!! That horn!!!!
I am in awe of your work. I watch each project with my mouth hanging open. AMAZING!
Thank you so much 😀
Wonderful work to a friend as always. I envy your talent! Thanks
Thank you so much!
I MUST SAY, I THOUGHT I HAD PATIENCE. THE STEPS YOU MUST TAKE TO ACHIEVE ANY OF THESE PRETTY OBJECTS ASTOUNDS ME!!!
YOUR TENACITY!!?? LOVEYOU❤🇺🇸
Another piece of art! I'm stunning!
I love these sculptures you make. They look so vintage because of wood yet so modern because of epoxy and i love the wood epoxy submerging in a abstract way. And after seeing the process i feel like this sculpture should be very very expensive . No one should get this without giving the right amount of money
This is one of the most beautiful carvings ive ever seen 😮 absolutely stunning
Amazing journey from start to finish! . . .
(In the back of my mind is always the thought of the intricate and not least _laborious_ task of getting all of this on camera!!! . . .)
A big shoutout to *BM Sculptures* for a good job well done, respect from 🇳🇴👍
Thank you Eric!
I like the way you talk and explain the process . It Makes it more personal and I threshing. You do amazing work . thank you
I would have loved to see a LED light inside the sculpture itself. Just hidden perfectly in the tree when the epoxy line starts. I think that would have made it look more captivating , but that said... It is extremely captivating already..
What a masterpiece!! Unbelievable craftsmanship 😊
I think a maple or walnut base with steel Grey epoxy for a Grey wolf would look amazing with your level of detail and dedication to your craft.
The final result was worth all your work. I hope you get what you are asking for plus some. Awesome work.
The Rhino is an INCREDIBLE piece ! In awe of your talent.
Always a good day when you upload a new video!!
As always, magnificent work. This is just stunning & I wish I could buy it!!
From a great sportsman to an outstanding artist. This is a truly exceptional story full of incredibly hard work, effort, will and determination. And like any extraordinary story, this one has a good ending too. Beauty made by human hands. Bravo, Blake!
Thank you so much Ray! I appreciate it and I am very lucky to have done two dreams of mine for a living.
CZcams just suggested your videos....i love watching then. This however is my favorite. From a young age my parents said my spirit anumal was a rhino.....i am so happy you did one! It looks so beautiful!
CZcams recommended me your channel and now I can't stop watching. I'm in luv with yours sculptures.
Glad you like them!
Your work is so inspirational that I'm considering enrolling in a college of the arts. Namibians are passionate about wildlife, so watching the rhino come to life astounded me. Your work are appreciated all the way from Namibia.
P.S. I'm saving enough to purchase one of your sculptures.
Thank you so much.
Uma verdadeira obra de arte!
uma escultura dessas merece ser vendida por um preço muito alto.
Parabéns, daqui do Brasil!
Do not let anyone tell you "you don't have talent". wonderful, the tail told the story. excellent work.
Wow! That really turned out beautifully! You did a great job on it!
This is soooo amazing! You’re incredibly talented and so dedicated man. Just recently subscribed and I’m in awe of your work! Much success and good things for you! ♥️
Thank you so much for the support!
Been waiting for this video! This came out incredible. Would love to see a Giraffe! Keep up the amazing work!
Once again a beautiful piece of art. I've loved everything I've seen that you have done. I like the voice over.
Absolutely amazing. 👍👍👍
Awe man not the NFT thing at the end :/ beanie babies for bros. I understand the urge to want to get into a new marketplace, but, eek.
Your talent is amazing tho
Actually this is not my doing. The person that commissioned this sculpture is creating the Ronin platform. I have no hands in the pot so to say.
Wow this is so amazing. I love your art work and you have a great talent ❤️.
Thank you Celeste!
OK, this is what it means to be a gifted artist!! That was pretty darn amazing to watch! Thanks for sharing I talent
I'm crying, this is one of the best things i've ever seen !!!
Thank you for the inspiration, your work is amazing!!!! I can't imagine the work and time that goes into creating a piece of art like that!!
Thank you so much! It is a ton of work, but I love doing it
Dios me encantaría tener esas herramientas y ese talento para crear algo así 👏👏👏
I have to say thank you, Im not an artist like you but i find your videos therapeutic and so calm and beautiful.
Thank you so much 😀
It came out so awesome! Thanks for the giggles with the pirate costume! And mostly because the rhino inspired my thoughts, I think a Giraffe would be an amazing sculpture. I'd love to see that...or maybe an Ostrich...from you some day.
I think a Giraffe would be really cool!
This is literally amazing! I do epoxy but this is next level.
I ran across you in the previous video where you used the fridge/freezer. I had to see what you made and now I am hooked. That is absolutely beautiful and fascinating to watch the process. I will be up late tonight binge watching your videos.
It's a masterpiece, and I just might purchase one one of these days it would be an excellent addition to my tempered glass coffee table with a stand that lights up that thing would just glow on my table
This is one of my favourite sculptures you have done, beautiful! Can I ask what wax/oil product you use to finish the epoxy? Thanks, Michael
como amo estos videos, tu arte es increíble
Thanks!
That turned out amazing! I do believe that the filming and editing took a long time. I'm glad you mentioned it. I was so riveted in watching your process that I wasn't even thinking about the work you put into editing. I do scuba dive videos. For me, there is more time committed to editing after the dive.
Wonderful rhino…totally love it!
Wow. Absolutely killer dude. Might be my favorite one yet
Seconded.
Thanks dude!
In the reveal footage, the light shining through the varying thickness of resin onto the burl inside the piece reminds me of an underwater scene. It’d be cool if you did a piece like this that featured stingray or something in an underwater scene inside the resin. Just a thought. Love your work! Someday I hope to commission a piece or two. 👍
That is one of the best pieces you have, the choice of wood used was spot on.
Truly amazing piece
You are incredible
As a fellow artist, I really appreciate all your efforts, sweat, tears, long hours and love, you put into your pieces and your videos. You have a unique tallent that is truely remarkable. I would love to see you do an OWL, the are my favorite animals and I personally love doing feathers..... I think the combination of wood, resin and feathers would be quite a showstopper. But what ever you do, and you have so many great sujestion, well, I know, you will bring to your audience and supporters, something original and that has you written all over it. Thankyou for all you do to bringing such entertaining and educational moments to us all. #ladybugartlk
Thank you so much. I really like the idea of doing an owl as well!
Outstandingly Wonderful.
So in love with your Sculptures 💖
I love this sculpture! It is so awesome!! Great job!!
Absolutely beautiful!!! I also love watching the process from buying the wood to the finished product. This rhino and the swan are my favorites. An elephant or bald eagle would be cool especially if you could get the white head on the eagle. Thank you for sharing your art with us
Thank you so much! That would be a really cool idea. Not sure how I would single out the white head. But there could be a solution somewhere.
I was looking for the elephant request. Great idea!
I would love to see you carve an orca, basically the pillar technique you used for the whale, but this time I would love to see you play with multiple gradients of wood and apoxy to get that signature look of an orcas pattern
And maybe add a lighter wood on the bottom of the pillars, to get the white of the stomach
I have thought about this, while doing the whale. I wanted to originally an orca, but found it near impossible to match the color patterns because I would have to do that during the initial block stage. Maybe in the future I can think of a way to do it.
@@BMSculptures you can try a mixture of ebony wood and also charing wood for the black, and tulip or other white woods for the enitial base I wouldn't recommend using 7 different types maby ebony and black llimba for the darker sections and a white and beige wood for the white
@@BMSculptures additional it's easier to do it if you have the template in advance, BTW I would love to see a sculpture (if its even possible) to flip it before you start shaving away the apoxy, basically the wood will start at the top not from the bottom up
You are freaking incredible💪🏾💯 An Artist Thru and Thru💪🏾💯
Your creativity and workmanship is amazing!! Good stuff!!
That is an amazing carving love it. I have a question, what do you do with the big chunks of resin that you take off in the beginning of carving? I would love to see something done with them. Have a great weekend.
I save all of them and plan to make something with them in the near future.
Can resin be re-melted? Or even shaved/grated down to tiny bits to mix in with liquid epoxy? It could look quite cool mixed thru liquid before it sets, like it has wee sparkles thru it??? Just a random thought lol
It’s a shame such a beautiful piece of art was wasted on NFTs
Beautiful, this is what i call art. Great job.
This is magical! You really have the touch!
I love these sculptures, but I always wonder about the resin. There's a lot of cast off, is it environmentally friendly? Does it degrade? Anyone know?
Beautiful sculpture. Love the format, love the result.
Resin is everything else then environmently friendly.
Yea I believe resin is made from soy matter of fact your soy late is mostly epoxy
@@victortorres1585
"Most of the commercially used epoxy monomers are produced by the reaction of a compound with acidic hydroxy groups and epichlorohydrin. First a hydroxy group reacts in a coupling reaction with epichlorohydrin, followed by dehydrohalogenation" en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epoxy
Epichlorhydrin is a highly toxic, carcinogenic liquid. I highly doubt that it is produced from soy.
He replied to a different comment saying he saves all of them and plans to make a sculpture out of all the scraps.
@@Marco-dq1ik did I say soy I meant wheat grass
Beautiful sculpt, but I'm not supporting an NFT site to buy it.
No worries!
Stunning piece of art sir looks amazing, thank you
dude... awesome work you definitely know what your doing. !!!
lost me at NFT art.
If you don’t like it you can leave there’s the door also really you’re complaining about a thing that wasn’t even on the screen for more than two seconds🤨
@@Choujifangirl I did leave after writing that comment
May i ask why?
There's nothing of this so called art website in the web. The website is laggy af and it says the rhino sculpture still hasn't been auctioned, so it's probably a scam because this video is from a year ago
I was enjoying this video a lot until I got to the NFT part! it's really a shame to see someone so amazingly talented getting into something so shitty. :<
NFTs are horrible for the environment by virtue of being crypto-based, if you were wondering, but I'm sure you've actually done your research, or at least I'd hope. I'm unsubbing, but I hope you end up looking back on the NFT thing as a mistake and change for the better. :/
That’s beautiful work there. Looks amazing up close.
Wow 😮 that is genius and absolutely beautiful 😍 I only wanted to learn resin wooden egg cups and came across your video. Your super talented ❤
NFT? Lol
Beautiful work. Shame you had to peddle an NFT BS, you might as well be selling AmWay seriously. Please don't cheapen yourself and your work by getting sucked into that crap.
Ficou perfeito! Maravilhoso.
it's just magical the way the light reacts with the resin.
Lost me when you started promoting NFT scams
I don’t think ya need to say the same word twice :)
?
@Ironarmgaming1 NFT=scam its redundant
Let the man get his bag
@@Nitsua_YT I guess if you are fine with content creators advertising sketchy companies or scams to people.🤷♀
NFTs...jesus. Disappointing.
Laura always gets you the nicest renders!
I'm speechless. This is absolutely amazing from start to finish.
Thank you!
I found the bear with the voice over video first and then this one. The voice over was so much more fun! It was fun to learn as you worked. But both were beautiful! You have a talent!
That is one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen. 💯💯
‘’Most valuable or most expensive”?
Your work is beyond compare❤
Love these wood+resin sculptures! They look amazing!
Thanks!
Wow!!!🤩This is a great job.This is art. Bravo👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Given what you went through early on with that freezer pour, I have to say I think you’ve perfected it.
You are one talented person. Absolutely amazing!!!
That's the nicest hand made sculpture I've ever seen done
I just found your channel after watching Nick Zammeti. Wow, that Black Rhino is just beautiful. You have some mad skills, your time and attention to detail is just amazing. Can't wait to watch more from your channel. New subbie! Big ((Hugs)) from Texas!🤗😉
