I am Croatian, next year I plan to visit Argentina. You avenged the our match in 2018 world cup in football in our last match back in December haha, my friend even watched the game in Zagreb with a girl from Argentina. I just love Argentina for a reason, I think people are similar to Croatians. Hernan is my best DJ, you can feel his positive and good character through his music, sets and tracklist choices, better than most DJs nowadays and perhaps underrated. I agree, he is a humble, the proof is his 30 years of career, and he should know that he made a lot of people happy through the years. I respect people like that, and I'd like to meet him and chat with him. Sorry I'm drunk but honest haha
Excellent Interview. Absolutely right, a load of djs jumped off the progressive ship onto the minimal ship and it's such a shame and a big loss. Djs like Digweed etc. who used to play amazing progressive/tech now plays minimal. Hats off to any of the old prog guys still flying the prog flag!!
I wished I could just have a chat with him for 15 mins. I watched him in Auckland last week. The moment he hit the console the sound signatures changed so drastically. What a champ.
hernan is spot on when he describes how over the last 20 years it's been him and Nick Warren who stuck with the a more progressive sound that you can clearly link to the sound of the classic progressive era from 95 to 03 . IWith the wonders of modern technology the complexity of the atmospheric layers of sound are memsmerising yet melodic smoother and slower than back in the day but actually producing some of the best examples of the genre ever .,a golden era at the moment ! enjoy .

Great interview and one that certainly resonates with me. I fell in love with progressive house and that hasn't changed, but a lot of the djs have. I've read lots of comments about Hernan being too proggy! His music is perfect in my opinion and is currently the soundtrack to my daily life. I'll be in Liverpool for Hernan's set on Saturday and it would be great to say hello.
