The Japanese part of the song is the Buddhist mantra of light.
This is one of my fav songs from strive.

And yeah, Baiken has been around since the very first GG game, actually!
(Gonna talk about her story a bit, I guess if you wanna stay 100% blind outside of music, feel free to ignore the rest?)
So despite the vibes, Baiken is actually 100% human- however, the demonic air you picked up on with her is still very much intentional!
Baiken was orphaned at a young age when her hometown was completely destroyed (at which point she also lost her arm and eye)- since then she has dedicated her life solely to take revenge and kill That Man who was responsible for this.
Her ruthless way of fighting and murderous intent makes her come of as demonic and terrifying to many as a result.
However, there is also a part of her that blames herself for being too weak to stop what has happened, and it's clear her way of life is not just to punish the culprit but herself as well. This being the only way she can process the events of her childhood. ("If that's what you call karma, I must be a demon" = how horrible must I be that something as terrible as this happened to my home; basically)
Not to go into toooo much spoilers, but the latter half of the theme deals with the fact that Baiken is eventually confronted with that latter aspect of her vengeance, by seeing herself "reflected" in someone going through something similar.
One thing I enjoy about this duality of Baiken in regards to this theme also: some of the non-English text being sung here is the "Mantra of Light", which in Japan was apparently particularly used for funerals of folks who were believed to be hellbound, asking for forgiveness on their behalf (roughly put, I am not an expert)
In the first half of the theme, the mantra sounds threatening in this context, like yes, Baiken's enemies are hellbound sinners who will face their fate.
But in the final bit of the theme it feels more like the mantra comes to be about Baiken needing to forgive her own perceived sins 🤔

The wikipedia page for the Mantra of Light seems to cover the topic pretty well. A cool thing that may or may not be intentional here is that this mantra is also called the Manta of the Unfailing Rope Snare, and Baiken has moves that involve ensnaring her opponent with a rope.

The way they emphasize rokkon shojo makes alot of people think they might be leaning into a more modern double meaning, "rock on young lady".
@@jayflach3408 Well, it certainly sounds similar, tho in Japanese you'd spell Rock On as "rokku on" rather than "rokkon" and all
It could be that the similar sound is intentional, but the official Japanese lyrics just have rokkon shoujou as "six senses"
