The release year of this track is actually 2023, if I recall correctly. Ultrakill is in early access so it's coming out out piece by piece, so it's understandable mistake to make

The Ultrakill OST leans more into a mix of metal and breakcore, and depending on which level it’s played, it will reflect the vibe of that level (or it’s boss) such as water levels and desert levels
