      Depends on the field I guess. The companies I work with cannot hire fast enough in operations and hospitality. We also had to spend 2 weeks finding contractors and plumbers to help with renovation work - everyone is loaded with work. From personal experience, it's hard to find people available or willing to work.

    Hi, can you make a video on PNP in Canada that does not require a job offer? I am 26 from Ghana , wrote and passed IELTS, 3 years working experience in Administrative services, single, have a master’s degree; my crs score in the express entry is 481. How can I get a job offer in Canada? Or which PNP program best fits a person like me? Any advice or suggestions? I really want to move this 2024

    I’d love to move back to Canada (I am from Toronto, and despite the winters and having lived all over the world, I love the city). But, as an academic working in Switzerland, there is no way I can afford to do that. The cost of living is astronomical and I’ve been priced out of ever moving home. The future is not in the West right now. Unless you have means. Europe is pretty dismal too. Switzerland works for me atm because it has high pay. It is a beautiful place to live, but it is a little boring if you are younger. But to be honest, I had a much higher standard of living in East and South Asia. This all comes from a position of privilege to be able to relocate, but I think it says something about the economics of a place if citizens (well-educated ones) cannot afford to return. Though I don’t work in STEM. My wife is English/Irish and the prospects are worse in the UK/Ireland. Dublin would be similar to Toronto, 🤷‍♀️ …

      @@MakeThatChange The Pro’s far outweigh the Con’s in Canada. We’ve got wineries, gorgeous lakes, snow capped majestic mountains, reasonable good infrastructure, but there’s space for improvement. Your other video’s are rather negative. I don’t see it that way, and I was born and raised in Europe.

    • @MakeThatChange
      @MakeThatChange  Před 2 měsíci +2

      That's because you haven't watched enough videos of ours. We have 200 videos, only about 10 have some level of criticism of Canada. Unfortunately, the handful of negative videos become way more popular than 100s of positive videos we make. We love our life in Canada, and share all - the good and the bad. Think about it - this is probably the first video you've seen of ours.. why haven't you seen a single positive videos of ours in the last few years? Negativity sells better unfortunately.

      @@MakeThatChange I came upon your videos by chance. I normally don’t watch anything about immigration as I’m already here. You can say the same things about New Zealand and Australia, give and take. One country is too hot, the other too cold. Funny thing is, in both countries, people live inside to avoid both, heat and chill. It creates a similar environment in the end, even though opposite on the thermometer.

    Federal debt has doubled since Trudeau took office in 2015.
    The first yr. of Trudeau’s government the National debt stood at $619 Billion, to $1.2 Trillion last year, & is expected to climb to $1.4Trillion by 2028.
    The national debt accumulated by Trudeau is greater than the debt accumulated by “All” the Prime Ministers that preceded him since Confederation, Sir John A Mac Donald & the Charlottetown Accord.
    To gain perspective, the cost to borrow money, (interest on the debt) has spiked from $20.3 billion in 2020 to $46.5 billion this last fiscal year.
    To again put this clearly, Ottawa will spend $28.9 billion on the Canadian Armed Forces, about $18 billion less than it spends servicing the national debt. In another perspectives, the government’s debt cost this year are $20 billion “higher” than the sum it has earmarked for one of its signature policies, The Canada Child Benefit, which sends cheques to families with kids.
    The debt charges are also more than double what it will cost Ottawa for the Employment Insurance Program this year.
    Every Canadian Household will have to cough up in excess of $3000 this year just to pay the interest on the debt that this Trudeau Government has put our Country In.
    Is there really any hope for Canada?
    40 million people can barely pay the interest on the National debt let alone pay off the Debt of 1.4 Trillion… However, if every Man, Women & Child in Canada contributed $30K each, we could at least reduce the debt to $200 million.
    So now what bad do you have After all this money spent can anyone tell me how Trudeau has possibly enriched the lives of Canadians? Other than his friends the elite as well the super-rich.

    • @MakeThatChange
      @MakeThatChange  Před 3 měsíci +1

      The goal of every government is to enrich itself first and foremost. Canadians are finally catching up with the rest of the developed world to realize that.

      Good luck finding an affordable house in Brizzy!
      Then try the 2,300AUD tiny studios in Melbourne or the 3,000 AUD 1 Bedrooms flats in Sydney.
      In the middle of the desert you might find something affordable but you won't be able to find a job.
