Thank you for all the useful information that we definitely needed once we get there in few months time. Both of you are like beautiful guardian angel for us. More power to both of you.😻😻😻
Glad it was useful!😊
thanks a lot
You are most welcome
how can't i like this video? You guys are perfect for new comers. The best guide.
Thank you friend 🙏
Well done! I guess you have covered almost everything somebody will be needed during the very first weeks in Canada.
( Although, for those they are familiar with the most world widely alcohol purchasing practices depending on the area they are settling down the might surprise themselves in provinces such as ontario)
thanks John! What about purchasing alcohol in Ontario?
@@MakeThatChange I guess you can tell the difference since you have lived in Quebec. In ontario you can only buy alcohol from government ruled stores (LCBO, beer stores). It's been just a couple of years since big grocery stores in ontario have been given a licence to sell alcohol based products. Just before that it was like a dystopian world. Nothing is in common with Quebec :)
@@johnstakos1875 oh wow! I did not know that. Glad they’ve come around by the time I’ve moved to Ontario😇
Pretty straight forward
We thought so too!
@@MakeThatChange i appreciate the time you took to respond... I really like you both a lot. A LOT. Can i marry 2 beautiful women and live happily under the same roof in Canada. (Ps. I am talking seriously)
You would have to become a politician and change the laws in Canada first 😊
Thanks for your continual sharing of
such valuable infos to all of us.. And also, thanks for providing links that support and prove your infos as well.
I guess when I would come to Canada, I will have to put some work in writing down all your advice in order to put away any stresses or pressure dedicated to that tight period.
You are very welcome! just keep watching us, and all this knowledge will become second nature :)
Nice very informative video Well done
Thank you 🙏
Very useful info 👍
Glad it was helpful!
@@MakeThatChange Would like to know about New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI
Love to live next to beaches
Any info about these provinces would be helpful. Am watching videos and researching myself though. Thank you
Hi there!! Thanks a lot for such informative videos, you are doing great👍
Small request from my side.. please make a video about canadian education from daycare to secondary 🙏 all proc and cons, would really help for newcomers with kids
Thank you for watching!😊 We already have this topic in our list and are working on it, stay tuned 😊
One of the first things you should find out is the nearest Casino.
What? Is he serious??
I can just hear it.
Three facts about Casinos.
Competitive if not preferred exchange rates.
Able to exchange large amounts of cash.
Open 24 hours a day. 7 days a week. 365 days a year.
Please in your research of Toronto neighbourhoods. Include access to P.A.T.H. Which apartment buildings or parking garages link directly.
Tom, your insights are always gold! Thank you for sharing them with us, we learn something new each time 🙏🏻😊
You are so right about steps! I did administrative steps but never been to the newcomer services. This is probably I never get away from feeling lost and lonely. I got job and apartment prior coming but got lost and recover from it.
As ex-Canadian PR and ex-Torontonian I can say to all newcomers: follow those steps.
Getting a job prior to coming to Canada makes many aspects of immigration easier, that's true. Including assimilation process😊
@@MakeThatChange я свалил с канады и сша. Сижу на диване, и прикалуюсь над счастливой жизнью за бугром.😀
Tnxs guys I just found out about you. For me it's a little bit lonely and confused about the city but...
Do not despair Nemona! We've made a few videos about how to make friends - make sure to check it out and join our Facebook group if you want to meet people!
Thank you both for this informative channel ❤❤
Btw is there any website to find general practitioners. In France, we had doctolib...
Here's the link for Ontario.
I hope other provinces have their own search
www.ontario.ca/page/find-family-doctor-or-nurse-practitioner
@@MakeThatChange thank you for the quick response ❣️❣️
Thank you for the informative videos. I've been binge watching your channel for the past few days. Around 10:50, you suggested to renew driver's license within 3 months of arrival otherwise I may need to do driver's certification and take driving courses. Do you mean I can get a license without doing these if I apply within 3 months of arrival?
We made a video about getting driver's license in Canada, you can watch it here czcams.com/video/ynO42CmWuu0/video.html
Great video.
In case if you have not made a video already, please consider making a video on 1) buying a home - things like mortgage, dealing with real estate agents etc.
2) Taxes- how are they calculated, deductions etc.
Hi Jay! Thank you for your request, we are currently working on 2) ! 1) is something we’ve considered as well, but we’d need to find someone who’s had experience in it
For the home buying part, there is a guy called Sam Arora on Quora. Maybe he can help you out.
Please talk about Brampton neighborhood
Thank you! Duly noted!
Please do a neighborhood guide video about the Fashion district neighborhood in Toronto🥺🤍
Wonderful request, we’re working on it 🙏 thank you
@@MakeThatChange Thank you so much!
informative video. but I think, It wd be better to reduce the volume of background music.
Noted! Thank you for the feedback!
❤❤❤
Thank you for your explanation. Please let me know if the Newcomer Service Center can support someone on a visitor’s visa in getting job to change their status
Hi, no, newcomer centres do not provide such services
Which is your current city of living? Your videos day by day prepaing me for immigration. Great work ....
Toronto, Ontario
Hey guys, if you feel like you can make some time for a coffee break at Tim's in Toronto downtown i would more than happy to share a few ideas about the channel expansion. I don't ask anything in return
Thank you John! We are travelling now, shoot us an email or IG message to connect!
Hi, is there any opportunities for finance students and if yes then what courses are in demand . Manny thanks for your help🙏🙏
Certainly would suggest to go for CFA, there are handful opportunities in finance
@@MakeThatChange thank you so much for your reply.. just saw it now 👍👍
I would like come to Canada if I successful my process program immigration Canada. Thanks for you different information Canada
All the best in your process!
I have a student visa and I'm traveling to Canada next month. Can I use the newcomer services or is it for PR only?
That's for PR. But your university/college might have their own service
Make thsnks
SJPERLIKE!!!👍👍👍👍👍
I subscribe :) I love Canada , I'm from Pakistan ,
More than 215k Pakistani Live in Canada , Even Some people I know also live their they are my cousins of My mother
Thank you for subscribing!
It's My pleasure 😇
Anna & Anastasia do you guys get paid for this channel or it’s volunteering ???
It’s closer to volunteering. We’re just doing it because we like it. There’s a very small income that we do get from CZcams ads, but that amount is insignificant especially given that we spend at least 15 hours on every video
@@MakeThatChange Thankyou you guys are real lovely people. Keep up the good work
How easy is it to move from North York to Toronto?
They are just several subway stations apart
Are these steps applicable to person's coming to Canada on visitor's visa?
If you are in visitor visa you cannot get a SIN, getting a local phone number might be a bit tricky too without an address.
@@MakeThatChange Thanks for the response. My husband and I are big fans of the channel and your videos are life and have helped us with information on how to move to Canada.
Thank you for the kind words Yolanda! Please make sure to join our Facebook group to stay in touch and share your journey of moving to Canada 🍁
If I come as a visitor can the newcomer center help me with information pertaining to getting a job?
Visitors aren't allowed to work, as they don't have work permit, so it makes no sense🤷♀️
I literally going to be there in less than a month and watching this...... 😬😬😬😬
You’ve got this!
@@MakeThatChange thanks guys..... this gives me +1% hope 😅😁
You’re doing research well in advance - that’s the biggest predictor of future success. All the best.
@@MakeThatChange thanks girls, your videos are definitely helping me a lot 🙏
I am a newcomer. I hope to get Canadian citizenship and work because I want to help my mother who is sick and she needs a kidney transplant quickly🕊️
Wishing you and your mother strength and resilience in this journey ❤️
Hi mam I'm Nepalese recently I'm working in Texas Roadhouse restaurant in saudi Arabia as a commis 2 what is the process to come in Canada?
🇮🇳🇨🇦🇮🇳🙏🙏🙏
Easy ways to immigrant to canada
There are no easy ways. If it were easy, everyone would do it and Canada wouldn't struggle with low population
I don't understand why should I come to Canada if it can't help me find a wife. What other reason I need to relocate to a new country.
I left my country 16 years ago and I'm still single, nobody explains to me that I won't be alone in Canada too. Just talking about weather and healthcare...
Get out while you can, save yourself... you'll see, when it's too late
