How to repair PS2 cd tray won't stay closed

I had irritating problem. I wanted to play PS2 Suikoden Tactics and PS2 drive holder just did not agree to close. It just went in and then again out. Solution was to untighten two screws. This video shows what you need to remove that you finally have chance to untighten those two screws. These instructions are specially for fat black PS2 model.

In this I used Filmora 9 and animations where from Filmstock (Standard Edition). Unfortunately there was time limit for their use, but I just managed to try them. Some of those animations from Filmstock use monthly payment for their library use.

This doesn't work for me on my SCPH-30001 R from 2002. I'm trying to get rid of this unit (I got an SCPH-50001 which is a better model). I've tried messing with everything but it just won't stay open. It closes after like 3-5 seconds.

Mine almost does this let,me explain mine(which I just acquired a week ago mine)will actually open the tray when I push the button and it on occasions close the tray by itself right away.So I’ve got like two seconds to pull that the disc out or I can wait after it closes,I can push the button again and that’s when It’ll stay open for me.
