This is the cinematic project I had in the works, for those who might've seen me mentioning it before. It's some sort of recreation of FFII's final battles with the Emperor (both main game and Soul of Rebirth) and the ending with Duodecim characters.
Turns out it's very, very long... I apologize for that. Guess this is what I get for trying to fit in everything that Light Emperor says, along with adding some lines from Dissidia for the Dark Emperor. It probably doesn't make much sense, but I'm honestly not good at writing things like these.
Regardless, I hope you enjoy it and thanks if you decide to watch the whole thing, despite its length. It's not perfect, but it's the best I could do after finally overcoming my laziness. lol
Special thanks to Kurayami for support! If it wasn't for him, I probably wouldn't have gotten enough motivation to finish this. Also thanks to Skye for helping me record the Pandaemonium half of the battles!

That's one excellent way to resemble Final Fantasy II, the best Final Fantasy in the series, into the conversion of Duodecim characters.

Loved this. Not sure if it was intentional, but the 2nd party suits the party of Soul of Rebirth mode in FF2. If you count Lightning as Scott, Yuna as Minwu, Tifa as Josef and Kain as Ricard. Shame the real Emperor fights didnt get this epic XD.

For such a fanmade from the last decade, I’ve never watch a cinematic like made of Duodecim. I love how this battle is edited and the story is rewritten fanmade from FF2!
I love the dual mix of Pandaemonium.
This is actually pretty amazing! It's like right out of the Dawn of Souls ending for FFII, but you've altered it to work with Dissidia's story, and it worked well! The dialogue is well-written, too!
You guys did a great job. The editing is impressive, and the script is simple but excellent, and I loved the references. I'm glad I'm your follower.
I'm working on something similar to this, but with another FF game. I'm still waiting on a few elements to come together before I start saving replays for the battles, so hopefully y'all might like it when it's completed.

That was a pretty cool video. I like the way you adapted the story of 012 to the story of FF2. And the way the Emperors casted Starfall at the same time, and everyone did their Burst at once was sooooo cool. I especially think the ending sequence was clever. I hope you'd consider doing more of these. But I know Firion is your favorite, so I'm assuming 2 would be the only one you'd wanna recreate.

The Emperor icons during the dialogue were modded in. They're official renders of his EX mode and DLC costume. As for in-battle, Emperor had permanent EX mode for the whole battle in both stances.
this makes me wanna create my own quest now :P

The original plan was to have the parties entering EX mode and then attacking, but I figured it would make the video even longer, so I cut it short. But basically I thought of it as if the rest of the party was preparing the all-out attack while Emperor was busy casting Starfall. Lightning and Firion are shown standing up after getting hit by Starfall before entering EX mode themselves to reinforce this. I guess I just didn't execute it properly.

@KisukeOboro Most of that dialogue was taken from FFII, only a few of the lines were redone to be original (like ones where those with connections to the fallen appear to them to offer support).

Really good choreography. I especially liked the Dual Starfall. My only complaint is that it jumps right from the Dual Starfall, with Mateus Squared dominating the fight(s), to suddenly the heroes all being in EX Mode and turning the tables with no real explanation. Otherwise, great.
Reminds me of a fan theory of mine, that you have to kill both Emperors at once to truly win; otherwise, just kill the Light or Dark Mateus, and the other resurrects the fallen one.

I'm really not trying to sound rude or anything, but the story part was probably the most cheesiest and stereotypical dialogue I have ever read.
The gameplay and camera work was awesome however! Really liked that bit. Very nice work with the action scenes. The ending was a nice little bit where the camera pans around the different locations.
Other than the dialogue, it was a fun watch and I enjoyed it. Very nice work and I hope that you do this again sometime =)
