- The Artillian Grapple paired with our John Deere 1025R made quick work of tree cleanup. We could clean them up nearly as fast as Danny could fall them.

The people who we need to thank for us being here today are the Veterans for their service to this country that we call home. If it weren’t for the Veterans who have served for our country and keep us safe and giving us our freedoms, such as being able to do these fun things. We salute you Veterans for your service.
This world needs more people like you. I would say your tractor replaced about 10 men and saved many backs.
God bless you for helping out someone in need!!
You mentioned that you thought this video was to long....I can only speak for myself BUT I love videos of this length. I get to watch and learn!
Great video Tim! Keep em coming
I was really impressed how Johnny could handle the load and the ability to clean up the small limbs was amazing. It's all about the operator Tim, great video
This is why I love your channel. We’re all in this together.
Im so blessed to have great neighbors, a 10 sec phone call and Im there, as they are for me. I always put in a very large garden every year, we all eat good. I happen to be putting it in now !
Another great example of helping other people out.
Great job Tim and company!!
Plpp pi is l pi ppppp p
I don't even bother to wait until the end of the video to thumbs up anymore. I just thumbs up right from the start! LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU GUYS!
Thanks very much for continuing to support our channel, Jeff! We appreciate the positive comments.
Your a wonderful guy Tim, and your family. Helping people out of the kindness of your heart.
Good stuff Tim !! Thank you all so much !!!! Be safe my friends and have a blessed New Year !!!! God is great !!!!!!! All the time !!!!! Eddy
Great way to spend a Saturday. Great guys.
This video clearly shows "The Good in Mankind". Job well done!
I can respect someone who is willing to help (Matt 25) but I also loved the instruction on the "hinge wood"; I bucked/limbed for a bit but was never taught that remarkable tidbit of info. It is awesome to see someone good at what they do
great video and shows the power of the grapple and the power of the humanity to help someone in need. Love that NextDoor app for that very reason. I live in an older/elderly subdivision and reach out to help those when they post up.
Good job Tim & Katriel! That is a nice thing you did there.
Thanks David. Just doing our part.
I love that you took the time to help a single mother and did it for free. I too enjoy helping people who simply cannot afford to pay.
Tim, this is one of my favorite episodes. The Artillian Grapple is Beast
Great job
God bless you guys, that's what happens when neighbors come together or towns folks to help someone in need. Great job Tim and daughter!!!
Thanks John.
Just watched the video about the stolen tractor. You are a good man, Tim. It was refreshing to see. I saved the video so that i can show it to my 20 month old son in a few years. Be well.
Nice project for the the grapple and learning how to use them, Tim. Really shows how quickly you can clean up a lot of trees and limbs.
The best part is that you, Katriel, Danny and Adrian helping Stacy out. Too bad the other neighbor had to get in the way of burning cleanup.
That was a very nice thing that you did for them. God bless you for that. Great video and great new toy, glad you got to play with it. I've done the exact same thing that you were doing a lot only with a bigger tractor when I was helping a friend that was a Arborist. Something I found that helped me a lot when hauling small limbs and brush. Some limbs would tend to get caught under the front tires on the way to the dump area (pile, fire, trailer etc). Set yourself up, if you can, after you grab the brush just drive backwards all the way to the pile. I've found that way things are not getting caught under the front tires and if something does fall out of the graples, which happens from time to time you don't run it over potentially damaging your tractor. Keep up the good videos and one day I will have my own 1025R. I have a "Financial Committee" too. :)
Very nice for you to help her!
Awesome job! Bless you and the others for volunteering to help the lady in need. Happy New Year!
Glad you mentioned 'the others'. Danny and Adrian do this all of the time. Danny is an amazing guy.
I love to be able to show people the power of such a little tractor. I hear it all the time, i dont think that tractor cant lift that. Its awesome to show people that such a small tractor can move those large logs. The best part is the Maneuverability in small backyards like this! This video shows how well the grapple and 1025R work in small areas!
Yes, very nimble and maneuverable. Like you say, folks think it won't be able to do anything, but once they see it work, they are amazed.
Wow, I'd say that saved a few backs! Very cool to see it in action. Thanks for the video
I can never understand how people like her neighbors stand by and complain about things like her yard, or the fire but don't spend that energy to help be part of the solution. Clearly, the homeowner wants to improve things and is asking for help. So why not grab a rake, help out and make a new friend. Be the change you want to see.
Good on ya for helping out. Happy New Year to you and the family,
Jay
The best way to have good neighbors is to be a good neighbor!
Amen
Well its the same with business placement and everything else.. its the "Not in my backyard mentality" . .
I hate nosy neighbors
I have the same neighbor problem, her 30 yr old son lives with her obligation & expense free, who will walk by a trash can lid on the ground versus picking it up and putting it back on the trash can, she has no trash services, stores trash in garage/back porch and in a pickup truck, takes it to land fill once a year. She has a good job of 40 yrs plus, will not spend money for maintenance of property, she wont replace a burned out light bulb on a outside light post but will hang Christmas lights . For several years I was a good neighbor until I felt I wasent helping her I was doing it for her and her son, I not sure how you help these type people. The house is a real eye soar.
WHAT I LIKE ABOUT YOUR VIDEOS -- They show what a family size tractor and equipment can do, and the details you give during the video are very helpful and interesting. I also like the task you choose that an ordinary family would be doing with the equipment -- and the family participation just adds to the videos.
Thanks for your kind words!
Great video Tim.
I have a jd 5065e with a grapple I love it your exactly Wright the work of 6 or 7 men.Hurry back I love your video I was cutting wood my self yesterday an thinking of you an your family !!! Working together it’s great !!
Hi Tim, I enjoyed watching both videos about the grapple on the Stacy project. It performed extremely well with limbs and leaves. Much better than I expected. More importantly, I am impressed with you. You volunteered your efforts, used your equipment and during the videos, were sensitive as to how you communicate your thoughts and feelings about Stacy, the neighbor, and comments from others watching. You are to be commended. Keep up the great videos!
Thanks Rick! That is the best comment of the day! I really appreciate it.
Your welcome and happy new year to you and your wife and daughter
Love the grapple! Nice work helping your neighbor!
It's amazing what a little tractor can do.
Great vid. I really like my Artillian grapple with the single center clamp on my 2305. I also like the way the rakes work for digging and scraping.
Great to hear! I will try the single center clamp approach at some point in the future.
I like that the video was a little longer this time. Johnny did awesome.and so did you tim. You mastered that grapple fast. Great camera work Katriel.
As always, I greatly enjoyed your video. I always learn a lot about many things. Most of the time, I don't have any one to help me do jobs like that so I have to be very careful to keep things safe. I pray that God will bless you all doubly for helping someone who has a need that you and your friends were able to take care of. Keep up the good work. I am always eager to see the next video.
Thanks Gerald!
Nice work Tim!
Happy New Year.
Boy that grapple works awesome ,, great video tim,, thank you...
Amazing!
Nice job Tim as always!
That’s an awesome Christmas present Tim. Congrats. Can’t wait for all of the videos. Happy New Years to you and the family.
Neighbors could be a little more understanding,I mean who doesn't like a good fire.Great job and great the way you helped this lady out. Positive outcome will always overrule any negativity. Love the grapple.👍👍
Johnny is a new man with those grapplers! Good work and for a good cause.
Thanks for watching, Steel!
You look great in that TTWT toque Katriel! Happy New Year!!!
Nice video tim and katriel and big job for Johnny. The grapple works perfect and big loads.
It really works well!
Good job Tim helping athers 👍
Wow- what an awesome piece of equipment!
Exactly! Thx for watching
I just can NOT get enough video of a grapple in action!
And thanks you you and your family, Tim, for your neighborly work, and for honoring our Savior.
Thanks for watching.
Nice video, and even nicer to do this for Stacy. It is a blessing indeed. With the tight quarters, the 1025 was perfect. It seemed to handle the big tree sections with ease. Keep up the great work. Happy New Year!
Never found any piece that stressed it at all. I'm estimating the heaviest piece at 700 lbs.
Amazing. Nice to help our your neighbors.
Great video. Not only did you learn to use that grapple quickly, you read my mind 10 months before I saw the video and answered questions I had! I do wish there had been more detail on exactly how he cut that "barber chair" tree to fall to the side. I have some of those in my woods. No buildings or fences to hit but hanging one up in another tree is a real pain, not to mention dangerous.
Gotta say that Artillian grapple system is slick and very versatile. Turned Johnny into Johnny Transformer.
Thanks Bruce. This is one of our best videos in my opinion.
Nice job, nice video! Katriel has great filming skills! I am amazed that this grapple is so lightweight and yet so sturdy.
Tim that grapple is nice. I want one but the finance chairman says no. That did save a ton of clean up time. That was real nice of y'all to help that lady. God will bless y'all for it one day. Oh one more thing. Tell Katriel she is a beautiful young lady even if she did have a odd color TTWT toboggan on lol. I know you and Cristy know that and tell her all the time. You just keep that ball bat ready for when the young men come knocking. Y'all take care and God bless.
Nicely done with Johnny, I got Johnny's cousin 1023E and purchased the Edge Tamars and they are awesome. Sadly we are having problems with our ash trees as well. So I been trees around with the edge tamers
The amount of work that little tractor can do with the grapple is amazing. That was a LOT of wood that was moved and I know for a fact, wood is heavy! Also REALLY interesting conversation about the amount of "hinge" wood! Going to remember that!
Thanks Prepper. I was shocked how much we accomplished in such a short period of time.
Tim, I have spent most of the day today watching your videos and it's better than any TV! Your wife and daughter make it even better, too. But, this particular video really touched me when you mentioned pitching in to help this lady clean up her yard. I wish I knew you personally and lived close enough to be able to help you help others.
I have recently been bit by the tractor bug again and am looking seriously into doing just what you are doing. I love tractor work and did a lot of lot cleaning in the high deserts of So. Calif. a few years ago. Mostly we simply had to do a heavy drag to scrape off any new growth before it became tumble weeds, but I had to develop a couple of very special drags for that. In a couple of your videos I saw where you could use a chain-link drag or a scarrifier drag to smooth out the ground better after using your tiller.
I will be getting a new 1025r soon and your vids sure have been valuable in showing me what to start out with in implements! Thanks for sharing your fun and experiences with the rest of us. And, kudos to your family for being such great narrators.
Thanks for the kind words Robert! Keep watching. There are hundreds of hours on our channel now. We try to keep them from being ‘dated’ by making them independent project oriented, or perhaps a series that stick together.
Looks pretty fun when you have the right equipment. The grapple is a great tool..
The grapple is amazing.
excellent video, this set up is on my wish list now, it would be so handy on my 1026
It really is an amazing setup.
That things as handy as a pocket on a shirt. On a sub compact that was perfect. Liked the hat Katriel, you have to be seen in the woods. Great video as usual.
I can't believe the work this little tractor is doing and the load it will carry in the grapple. What a little work horse. I have been looking at 45 HP tractors wondering if they can do this work. Got my answer now, thanks Tim, great video.
Thanks for watching, Mike. You might want to consider the 3046r. It is amazing combination of power and handling.
I will Tim, I have about 30 acres of pasture and several acres of woods that need to be cleaned up, trails cut, food plots for deer put in and a powerline cleaned up of saplings and rocks. Will look into the tractor with some added HP. Your videos are very helpful and informative. Thanks again for the great work.
Now everyone wants a grapple! I still think one of the most useful and inexpensive accessories is the steering know. I catch myself realizing what a great little tool it is when you are steering the tractor back and forth. Anyway, great video, Tim. Always enjoy you doing your projects. Happy New Year !
I couldn't do without the spinner knob. I use it all of the time.
Thanks for watching, and Happy New Year to you!
Awesome job .. & such an awesome way to help someone in need, Have a Happy & safe New Year!!
Thanks John!
You guys are having way too much fun. Nice job on adjusting your technique for using the grapple. I noticed you got better the more seat time you had.
Yes, glad you noticed. I left out the first 30 minutes or so of usage. I will show this in a separate video, explaining some of the things I learned. I thought this would make a good video on its own. ...but in this first video, I wanted to show the grapple working well ...or should I say "show it being operated effectively".
Thanks for watching and commenting. Happy New Year!
Another awesome volunteer project for a neighbor. Some day I hope to drive a rescue tractor for my friends :)
That thing works like a charm. Great video. And a happy new year to you and your family Tim!
Happy New Year!
I LOVE SEEING A JOHN DEER AT WORK AND THE GRAPPLE IS A GREAT TOOL TO HAVE
I THANK YOU.GOD BLESS
Welcome to our channel!
Happy New Years from west Tenn.
Wow Tim. That grapple is the best tool yet.
Yes, very nice!
that deere is a fantastic piece of kit, keep up the great vids!
Thanks for watching!
Videos are great Tim and family.
Thanks for watching, Gordy!
How great is it to end the year with your most satisfying video to date! Wow! The Grapple is a MUST HAVE accessory! The entire crew was fantastic! Happy New Year and God Bless!
I really appreciate that comment, Scout! I was adding the voice over after midnight last night. I began to realize that this video is 'special'. Funny thing is, we often don't know it until the final edits.
Great video showing the capabilities of a grapple. I would love to have one for our 3320
I would love to have a 3320!
It’s quite evident the tractor operator was raised on a farm!
Amazing the tractor frame is so resilient!
New to our channel? If so, welcome!
@@TractorTimewithTim Have been watching for at least a year.
Thanks!
Became a pro at the end. Johnny is the ultimate tool now.
I definitely got better at it.
Great videography Katriel! 👍👍 Wonderful job and blessings your way and your fellow volunteers for this job. Thumbs up to your fire dept. for their ‘tolerance’. 😉
Again, what a great little machine..I could only wish for something like this..oh how it could save and protect my injured back.👍
Thanks for your feedback, Steve!
Great video guys! This video sold me on the grapple.
Gotta have it!
Well done Tim. Great video!
One of our favorite videos.
Nothing better than some fall cleanup, chainsaws, fire and diesel in the air.
This is my favorite video. I love that thing!
Ranks high on my list too.
Happy New Year to the Tractor Time with Tim family!! Looks like you are having a blast with the new grapple, and getting pretty good at corralling up a stack to pick up! Some times you will find that one stick that refuses to cooperate, and it’s easier to jump off the tractor and throw it on to the pile (I know, not as much fun). Wishing y’all a great 2018!
sounds good Dan.
Hi Tim I have been a subscriber to your channel for some time. I enjoy your videos please keep them coming. I own a 2010 John Deere 3520 I keep in my shop and it's like brand-new. I have a few attachments like the front loader, box scraper, brush hog, landscape rake, postal digger. Watching your videos with your Rototiller projects have been fun to watch and it is on my list of needed attachments. But I must say I was absolutely inspired by your video of the grappler attachment I have watched your installation video. I have watched the video at least five times of you putting your grappler to work. It has set me on fire to put a grappler at the top of my attachment list. That grappler does the work of 10 men. I am also happy for your wife because I noticed in some of your videos of course you are the operator but that sweet lady sometimes get stuck with manhandling things that Johnny can't reach. I enjoy operating my John Deere I know as much as you. Now you're wife will benefit every bit as much as you do by owning a grappler.
Thanks for the comment! Very special!
Great Video,,I just sold a John Deere Utility Tractor - Really miss it,,
Thanks for your ministry,,
You Guys Rock...........that Grapple is Amazing.............not to mention the top quality of all of Your videos...........I immensly enjoy your videos, every last one of them. I own a JD x360 with a 48" mower deck, a 44" snowblower, and a Original Tracto Cab hard top cab enclosure. Love it.
Thanks Bob! Very kind words!
Hey Tim love the addition to Johnny.
Thanks!
Chip off the old block for sure!
The capabilities of the grapple is impressive.
Well done!
Great vid Tim and Fam. Have a great New Years
Thanks Chuck! Really enjoyed this project.
Great work I am truly impressed
What a team👍
This was one of my favorite projects ever. ...and one of my favorite videos as well.
Johnny had lots of fun
Tim, You are having entirely too much fun with that tractor! Isn't it fun to work with a bunch of fellows to help someone in need. Or to put it another way, how can a bunch of men enjoy one another's company, do something really useful and stay out of trouble? I used to do some of that but I am afraid that post polio syndrome and DISH disease have taken that away. That is why I enjoy your videos so much.
Yes, definitely having lots of fun. Just met Danny's family this evening. We made new friends during this project.
Great job with the grapple wish i had one when i used to do firewood for a living.you really made short work of all that timber and cleaned it up so well.i can see you'll be using the grapple a lot from now on Johnny had no problems lifting heavy logs v impressed.its amazing what these little guys can do, I've got a Kubota 16hp bought this year and i don't know how i did without it now it does loads of stuff with the FEL and back forks.happy new year Keep up the videos.hope your wife's leg getting better
Thanks Roy! Christy still hobbling, but getting better.
Great video. I like the length of the video. Happy New to you and your family Tim.
Thanks Scott!
Awesome video! This was so entertaining and it looked like a lot of fun!
It was fun. Thx for watching.
Y'all got a lot done in a hurry, looks like a perfect application for Johnny and the grapple!
Amazing!
Hoosiers at their best!!! Makes me proud to call Indiana home.. good work Tim!!!
Thanks for watching, Danny!
Hello, I've been watching your videos for quite some time and you folks do a super job. A few years ago I bought a John deere 430 with a deluxe cozy cab. It came with the 54 inch push blade. I put a rear pto and reugg 3 point hitch along with a 48 inch tiller. Then bought a John deere 47 inch snowblower, the heavy style. Love the 430, it's an animal. Well, after watching your great videos I will be getting a new tractor in the near future. Not sure if I'm going with the one series or the two series. Being from upstate new york I'll be getting a cab with it. Just wanted let you know your videos are very informative as well as entertaining. Keep your videos coming as they are really enjoyed. Happy New Year and thanks.
Those tractors were awesome. ...still, you'll find the 1-series a HUGE upgrade over the 430. Without more info, I don't see why you would consider a 2 series.
great video I love the Grapple as well...keep up the great work..!
Thanks for watching, Tom!
That little grapple works pretty good there. I like that.
It is amazingly effective. If handled right, I could pick up every stick of a pile of brush.
Great teamwork and you definitely developed a unique technique with the grapple. God bless y’all for helping out like that. In the future call ahead to local FD and ask the chief about a burn permit or waiver. They can usually make provisions for stuff like you were doing.
Sounds good. Thanks for watching.
awesome powerhouse
I love the apple sticker on his saw at 14:26😂 another job well done, Tim.
We had a segment where we talked about the 'iSaw' but it didn't make the cut. To much REAL grapple and sawing work to show!
Wow that was impressive Tim! The grapple worked great. I sincerely hope they realized just how much work you did with the tractor this day. Very nice job! Doesn’t it figure? Someone complains when an attempt is made to clean things up.
Yea. The grapple is amazing. Someone complains when folks are VOLUNTEERING to clean up no less! Oh well.
This is life in the city.
