Very nice job on this video. Good music for the reminiscent mood of these amazing Dinky Toys. They were the toy of my youth. I much preferred the Dinky Toy over the Matchbox toys. One of my favorite was the double decker bus. Maybe one day, I'll come across one, again. Thank you for your work, and the video.
That Daimler ambulance at the beginning - we got so many of those as kids. They were cheap and bone simple without any features, and looked nothing like the Cadillac ambulances around here in VR. They all ended up terribly abused! I hate to think what one in the original blue-and-yellow box would be worth now...
Very nice restored collection. When they're yours, and you don't worry about originality, or selling them,I would do the same, restore them. Love the song by Evenessence.
Nice jobs . wish I had my 1950's trucks . Yellow Leyland Comet cement lorry , blue Bedford , BR Horsebox , bedford car transporter and my fave Thorneycroft Mighty Antar with Centurion tank ! Never mind son and grandson had the pleasure of them - so 3 generations ain't bad . Wales UK
I agree. They should be done in original colour, as close to that colour as you can get. If your keeping them for yourself, it doesnt matter if you restore them, though the original paint makes them more valuable
It is better to restore them ...than leave them in such bad condition ...but I agree ,they would be better in the original colours ...racing green for the sports car ...
du très beau travail , un résultat superbe ... Malheureusement , ces modèles " rénovés " perdent toute leur valeur sur le marché !!! Il reste le plaisir personnel ....
HELPME I have used Hotwheels cars, matchbox cars , etc ... and it is normal to fall the paint from them , because they are use , if is not normal what can i do Responder ·
I’m here for the music! The kid showing pics of his toys has good taste.. By the way some of your toys look like crap!! (All beat to hell and back) Next time don’t show those ones just show the nice lookin ones k?
Very nice restoration of your dinkys . Music thou as beautiful as her voice sounds , sends me greatly into depression lol

Hello... to paint templates or stripes in my matchbox car, can i use oil painting and if not what paint would you recommend me .. thanks

I prefere with the old paint. because the details of the body disappear, with the new paint
paints too thick , probably needed more thin layers v less thick
what kind of paint do you yous
These look amazing! Where do you get the replacement tires?

Ein Genuss für das Auge und das Ohr!

it's a beautiful and sad video!😭😭
Just my opinion, but I think it would have been better to paint more of them in their original colours.
I agree !!
Ya
Yea that would be nice
It is better to restore them ...than leave them in such bad condition ...but I agree ,they would be better in the original colours ...racing green for the sports car ...
Unless they are ultra rare , my opinion is ....... Do them the colours you choose . Your models , your choice . And nicely done too .
Beautiful work ! Very nice ! I only wish I had that kind of time. how do the wheels come off the axle and where do you get the tires ?

Spray with a coat or 2 of clear coat
beto41184 Yes, it’s normal for the paint to fall off your old toy cars.
another possibly interesting vid completely ruined by god awful music......what were you thinking?
Put some real rims on them
I’m here for the music! The kid showing pics of his toys has good taste.. By the way some of your toys look like crap!! (All beat to hell and back) Next time don’t show those ones just show the nice lookin ones k?
