I fail to understand why anyone would bother remastering Tomb Raider when it already looks amazing. I swear, developers and screenwriters are suffering from a severe lack of creativity lately. Wouldn't you agree?
What's next, are they going to remaster Wolfenstein 3D or maybe Crysis? (I'll shut up now before I start giving them more bad ideas!) 😁

Great video. This channel has become one of my favorite pc channels to watch!
even for high end 1440p you can stick with the previous r5 7600 or 14400f cpus and you'd be fine
Yeah I'd skip the ryzen 7 7700 all together and if need be, jump straight to ryzen 7 7800x3D for 4k gaming. Otherwise 7600x is excellent upto 1440p or some 4k as well if paired with the right card
hey james i have a medion erazer one you done a video yourself on but ive upgraded to a rtx 4070 and put a 32 gb 3200mhz of ram in there to and im happy with my build any info on upgrades for the future would be great
Thank you for the list. Can you also make Motherboard compatible with CPU & GPU
i need some help with my first build, which Cpu and Gpu combo will give the most consistent 4K @ 120fps without overloading/bottle necking the components? Also i want to go Air cooled with this build with enough fans, maybe in the future il go with Liquid cooling. the reason im after 4k 120 is because i have the latest Sony Oled tv which maxes out at 4k 120, my Tv does not support 1440p and going down to 1080p is not an option for me as i want the best picture quality. im not a heavy gamer, it would be a everyday use build for internet, watching content and gaming but still want that consistency 4k 120. a part of me thinks to wait for 2024 when the new intel cpu's and motherboards are released that way i can future proof the pc for at least 14th 15th and 16th gen intel cpu's.
I had to go with i5 12400f pair with a 4070 Super. I had to make a choice to get that card, getting an AM5 socket plus a Ryzen 5 7600x would’ve probably get me 5 to 10% more performance but it would’ve cost me about 200€ more
I love my 4060 it's a great price that i can afford ..I can push it in 1080p and it doesn't use a massive amount of power..
I was just thinking then.. at the start you said 4k gaming was more gpu bound , so why are you recommending a 7800x3d for 4k? Genuine question as ive always been confused
Why am i crying watching this? Just because i can't afford any of this, it shouldn't have made me cry.

from where should i order pc parts ???? ( i live in europe)
I would suggest looking at the ARC A770 16GB in the future. In the past two months I've done ground up builds for myself and my son using the RTX 4080 Super and 7900 GRE, paired with a 7800X3D and 7700X respectively. Because my wife's PC was so old, I thought I'd build her a mid tier PC with a R7 5700x and pair it with a ASRock Phantom A770 16GB (proper middle of the road). Because I game in 4k, I thought I would 'validate' my purchase of the 4080S by seeing how much worse the ARC build was at 4k. To my surprise, I had a very passable gaming experience in Diablo 4 with all settings maxed out (RT Off) and XeSS1.3 running on balanced. I was really blown away by this 'budget' card.
Please start having bench marks for battlefield 2042
5 7600x and rtx 7800xt, what about this combo? bottleneck issues?
I have a 4080 7800x3D and a 4090 14900k. Which cpu should I stick with if I wanted to keep one pc build with my 4090? AMD or intel?
Is it worth getting ryzen 7 8700g over ryzen 5 8600g please
I think that 7900 xtx and 13900 K is one of the best combos there are, because you get all the bells and whistles of intel plus all the extras for 1440p, unless you are a 4K head thinking is the best well then you better come out the pocket, but if you want good stability and you like to win in all situations, this is my best choice.
Looking to go into 4K gaming. Will the 7800XD and the 7900XTX work for max 3d gaming?
I've been eyeing the Ryzen 5 7600X, with a RX 7600 XT. Just been watching the prices until either drops to a decent level.
My biggest problem is the right motherboard to connect the two. My current thought is the B650M DS3H.
I really appreciate this channel and the information you provide. I must add I’m approaching 70 years old and although I love the modern gaming PCs, they really aren’t for me. I do game but generally Steam platform stuff and WofT online game.

So if I go with Ryzen 7600 with RX 7800xt for 1080p (sometimes upscaling res in software) I plan to build PC ofr at least 4-5 years like I did with current, Is it gpu overkill should I go with R 7 and lowwer end gpu? Thanks

Hey, im currently planning on building my first pc for gaming and streaming, is it worth to spend a little more on RX 7600, or 6600 is enough for the next (let's say) 5 years?

@@Wingale I'd suggest a higher PSU 850 to 1000 w
@@Rookblunder 650w is more than enough for it, i'd rather spend the money on other part rather than pushing for 850w psu
Only R5 7600 match all of these criteria if you’re just a gamer. I did pairs with a 4070ti super and games runs fluid without a CPU bottleneck (1440p)
i have a 165 hz 1080p monitor and i really want to max it out... so im leaning towards a 7700xt... am i just being silly? stick with a 4060 for raytracing?
Ray tracing on the lower end cards isn't worth in 1080p it really drags down the performance. If you want to really take advantage of FSR or DLSS go with a 12Gb card like the 7700 xt or 4070 super.
Thinking of doing a 7800x3d and 7900 xtx build , micro center near me has a 7900xtx open box for $750

The RX7600 here is 330(sapphire) and 345$(3 fan)
The RTX4060 is 390
Is the 4060 worth it over the 7600? I was looking at 120W vs 185W, but still
Id love some advice
If you play at 1080p, then the best option is the RX7600. If gives more rasterized fps, and is cheaper; if you play at 1440p (which I don't' recommend considering these gpus), then 4060 is a better option bc of dlss and frame generation. These gpus wont be drawing a lot of power at 1080p so i don't think you should be considering tdp at this price point. Hope this helps
@@lazyboy180 Thank you my friend. Yes I do play at 1080p, 1080p 144 with my 1660S for now

About your sponsor: I don't care what the brand is, the words "Gaming" and "Laptop" do not belong together.
I wouldn't recommnd any AMD CPUs that end with "X" because the non-X variants give almost the same performance and cost considerably less. Furthermore, the non-X CPUs all include a usable CPU cooler for free which means one less thing to have to spend money on. Thus, the value preposition of the R5-7600 and R7-7700 is far superior to the R5-7600X and R7-7700X. The only suffix that makes sense on a Zen4 CPU right now would be "X3D" and even then, only on the 7800X3D. I say this because Ryzen 9 CPUs aren't gaming CPUs, they prosumer CPUs and the 3D v-cacle hampers their productivity performance because it forces a lower limit on clock speeds. Sure, the gaming performance might be better with an R9-7950X3D compared to the R9-7950X but it's not like the R9-7950X isn't already a blazingly fast CPU for gaming in its own right. There's also the fact that the twin CCX modules of the Ryzen 9 CPUs has been known to cause scheduling problems in games that actually hurts their performance. So the R9-7950X3D is inferior to the R7-7800X3D in gaming and inferior to the R9-7950X in productivity despite costimg more than both. If you're a gamer, get the 7800X3D and if you're a prosumer, get the 7950X. It's just that simple.
At 9:07: The RX 7900 GRE has 16GB of VRAM, not 12. That's a pretty bad mistake not only to make, but not to notice during editing, especially since you claim that it's "Your favourite 1440p card". It's fair to call it the best, (becauase at 1440p, it really is the best buy) but how can you be a TechTuber and not know what the VRAM capacity of "Your favourite 1440p card" is?
I'm currently more than happy with what I have. My CPU is a Ryzen 7 5800X3D, my video card is an ASRock Radeon RX 7900 XTX Phantom Gaminc OC mounted on an ASRock X570 Pro4 motherboard with 64GB of Team Vulcan DDR4-3600 RAM. My system drive is a WD Black SN770 512GB PCIe4 NVMe and I have 5TB of PCIe3 NVMe space for games and it's all powered by an EVGA 1000 G2 Supernova 1kW 80+Gold-certifired PSU.
My PC is an absolute beast for gaming at ANY resolution.
The 7900xtx and 7800x3d at 4k has zero percent bottle kneck on the PC builds calculator
Nothing has a 0% bottleneck. It might be that the 7800 X3D isn't likely to bottleneck the 7900 XTX, but it's truly impossible to say without assessing the exact title you're playing or without knowing the rest of the parts.
Either way, that's a really solid combo :)

I would go for 13700k and a 4070 super if ur gonna stream and game. It's a superb cpu.
It’s really a hard choice. The 13700k is better for multitasking for sure but it’s mother board won’t be as future proof as am5. The 7800x3d would easily give a stable 240. It can handle video editing but slower and streaming should be fine. I personally would go with the 7800x3d because of am5 and it’s 3d cache.
13700k for sure has 16cores instead of 8cores , so for streaming + gaming at the same time it would be no problem for the i7 , Ryzen chip you will see performance drops

I recommended both Intel and NVIDIA in this video. AMD may be pretty dominant on the value for money front, but I in no way excluded anyone else's cards.
Lol you recommend 7800x3d only for 4k, which is where cpu matters less
Just because 4K is likely to make the GPU more of a bottleneck doesn't mean you should be opting for a really low powered option. The 7800X3D is still cheaper than most i7s...
Lesss do thassssss 💅💅💅
i think i’m the first
No budget 4k
It all depends on the budget. There are builds that wont cost a lot but can still do 4k.
Im got a 7700X with MoBo and 32gb 6000 ram for $350 in a bundle. Fantastic price if you have a Microcenter in your area.
