I just bought a big shot plus. There was no embossing folder with it though.

I got one for Christmas it only came with the A and B folders for cutting, there was nothing extra like the A4 embossing folder??? Also having a problem with the handle kicking back when using a small folder.

I just purchased this machine and like it with me exception. I don’t like how when die cutting it cuts into the top acrylic plate. I’ve always tried to,keep,a,clean plate for the top. Other than that I like the machine and hope to also use it for quilting.
That is what it does. What you can do in designate one of your plates to not be the cutting plate, and mark it with a sticker or something, or you could buy a colored cutting plate so that you can tell them apart. Hello I'm about to buy the sizzix big shot foldaway machine Ann I'd like to know if is it possible to use the thinlitz dies to also cut felt or other kind of fabrics? Thanks.
We suggest that you starch your fabrics before diecutting them with a Thinlits die. Typically, we suggest that you use our Bigz dies to diecut fabric... the thicker the die, the thicker material you will be able to cut with the die. Hope this helps!
I love to emboss. Is there a way to emboss with any of the cutting dies?
i bought a plus my life machine from Hobbycraft but didnt receive the embossing folder. so much dissappointed.😑

I just bought this starter kit from hobbycraft two weeks ago, and there's no embossing folder in it.... And my sandwiche plates have started warping and leaving unwanted impressions from previous dies that's left marks on the sandwich boards on the new pieces I'm trying to cut out... 😩 😩 It's a bit disappointing tbh

Most dies from most brands work in this machine. I can't name any from other brands that don't, as I've never heard of them :) (The only dies from sizzix that don't work are the bigz pro dies. They are just for the big shot pro. They are very rare to come across though so don't worry) I have the big shot plus & LOVE it. It never gives me any trouble as every die I tried works. Some brands of great dies: Sizzix (of course), spellbinders, Docrafts, xcut, crafters companion, lawn fawn, Nellie snellen ... There's so many I can't think. Happy crafting :)

I don't think you can buy them separately. Sorry :( There are thousands of other dies to choose from though & some are very similiar. I hope you enjoy your machine
