- I'm so excited to open my Sizzix Big Shot Plus Starter Kit with you in this video. This manual die cutting & embossing machine can cut/emboss many different materials including cardstock, felt, paper, and balsa wood. This starter kit comes with a big shot plus machine (9"), pair of cutting pads, big shot plus platform, adapter A, adapter B, instruction booklet, bigz die, 13 thinlits dies, textured impressions plus embossing folder, double sided 5 1/2" x 6" cardstock, and double sided A4 cardstock.
In this video, I will show all of the contents in the box and then demonstrate how to use the machine. I will show how to use the bigz die and some of the thinlits dies to cut a piece of felt and cardstock respectively. Also, using the textured impressions plus embossing folder, I will show how to emboss a piece of cardstock with this machine. This machine is compatible with framelits, thinlits, sizzlits, sizzlits decorative strip dies, bigz, movers & shapers, originals, and textured impressions.
This video is mostly just a box opening and first impressions since this was my first time using this machine after opening it.

there is a weeding tool like a little rotary brush you can get to clear both out, to clear your dies you can use a lint roller too

Hi Michelle! :) Thanks for the video. I'm considering this machine. I initially was interested in just the embossing aspect and was surprised that it's also a die cutter. This may come in handy since I also love felt! :) How's your machine holding up? Any issues with it? Did you find a place for it?
