OVERNIGHT At The Haunted Graestone Manor!

In this video we went to the Haunted Graestone Manor! The Graestone Manor is located in Gasport, New York. Today it's home to Heather and Robert Mattison & they operate it as a Bed & Breakfast. It has been featured on the Travel Channel show "Kindred Spirits" for it's hauntings that take place here. There's several reasons why spirits are still lingering amongst the mansion and property. It could be that there are 7 confirmed deaths that have happened in the home. Also, there is a small cemetery that was discovered in the back yard when it's current owners started digging up the land. There's also a burial ground behind the home.
It has been owned by 4 families including the Newcombs, Chapins, Roots, & now the Mattisons. The Roots purchased the land in 1865. Curtis Root lived here with his wife Melissa & 5 children. Curtis was a racehorse enthusiast/trainer/ & breeder of the racehorse Hamiltonian. He even had a quarter mile horse racetrack that was in the field next to Graestone. Unfortunately for Curtis, this love for horses ended up attributing to his death. He was actually crushed by his own horse due to it getting "spooked" and landing on top of him. He did not die immediately, he actually suffered a slow/painful death in the Green Room for 2 weeks before his passing. His spirit is known to be attached to this room because of the tragedy. There are several stories from guests & the owner's themselves that dark shadow masses, the smell of cigar smoke, perfume and voices can be heard/smelled throughout the home.
We have been wanting to investigate the property ourselves for a long time! We're glad we finally got the oppurtunity to come here and discover some evidence that we're excited to share with you guys. We also really enjoyed our stay here.
