    My guy I love using these off set hooks for catfishing when I don’t have 8/0 or 10/0 circle hooks… using 4/0 or 5/0 off set hooks seem to work just as good and I have no problem tying a snail knot on them it’s definitely not the easiest of hooks to snail but to say it cannot be done made me laugh a little… maybe one day I’ll make a video of how I snail these hooks…. As I always say can’t ain’t ever done sh**….. 😂😂😂😂 anyways buddy awesome video and otherwise a super cool setup that’s very effective… Hopefully I didn’t offend you that’s not in any way my intention we’re all here to learn something new and hopefully a I can show you how I snail them and maybe you can give it a try sometime in the future… thanks for the video and information you shared with us

    Interesting setup and concept , would be nice if it was developed into a single plastic bait. Have you tried any A/B testing during a day with a partner?

      It was actually several fishing trips that proved to me that on certain days, this rig will all out destroy other baits. First time was on St. Francis with Mark and he was throwing tried and true jerkbaits and tubes and I was using this rig. I caught fish 2 -1 with my rig va the tubes and jerkbait. I've also had several occasions on the St. Laurence where tubes and ned rig were not really getting them in areas I knew had fish, so I put those down and I'd start throwing this and catch a fish 10 casts in a row. So now I always have it tied on my deck ready to go. I'll often also use it to cover water quicker than other baits and find productive areas and then slow down with a finesse rig.

    Try tying this knot with no teeth

      If you make the tag way longer, you could pinch it in your fingers I guess. I'll use my teeth as long as I still have em! lol!

      @@DanRichardFishing On a completely different topic I've got a question for you.
      I just tried out recording sonar with my 94UHDsv but how do you view them? Garmin's Home Port has been discontinued

      @DanRichardFishing  Před 3 lety

      @@jus4funtim You can still download and use it, they just won't support it anymore. Once that finally breaks, there is no other way to view the RSD files I know of. Direct download is at www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=7263

      @@jus4funtim Really frustrating that Garmin doesn't allow the Helm functions with Echomaps (so we cant record) and then cuts off the only software that views their RSD files.
