How sparring should be. Respect your training partners.
This is how real pros sparre, only tactical and technical. Power is for pads, bag and fight.
very interesting. That actually makes a lot of sense, is it mainly due to the nature of the kicks , they can really tear the body down ? plus these guys dont even have mouth piece right ?
it's the norm for Thai's to not use a mouth guard while sparring.
Exactly how it should be, technical and sensible... unlike the ego driven rubbish I see coming out of Tiger Muay Thai!
I agree so many idoitic cowboys with too much ego out there
This is just Thai style of sparring because they fight every week..
Still after all these years, this sparring session is so damn enjoyable to watch. Good intensity and pace! Fun technical sparring!!
Some people are saying this is how hard you should go with sparring, but if you go this hard with a beginner in muay thai/kickboxing they will often cry about it.
Been a few years, but I still love watching this video. Great demonstration of technique, control and respect.
This is the right way to spar. In our gym they will try to K.O. you. You wont be able to train properly the day after =)
So you're not working, you're just fighting.
so get the fuck out of there
+BATU TORIGO same at mine it gets old fast with some guys
Serously guys... that's just impossible. I don't know about your level i never went professional but i was an amateur champ and i know YOU CANT SPAR AT MAX EVERYTIME YOU SPAR THAT'S a LIE. It's actually very few times you do that. it's about 1 training day every 2 weeks during prep. and almost never out of prep. MAYBE it COULD be true in boxing but not in Muay Thai
the problem is EGO. when u train with ordinary guys they must "win" and go heavy every time... every day! there's no respect and sparring is a real combact... so u can learn how to survive but not muay thai
Nice! Amazing sparring! Both are so good at catching kicks.
I love these guys..they're awesome! They're both technically very different with different strengths.
You learn so much just from watching them spar... wish there were more HQ slow sparing videos like this.
Most Thai fighters are so short and skinny you'd think you can just run through them but they will kick your ass back to wherever you came from before you can say "thai clinch" haha. Gotta love how well trained these guys are. Respect!
I like this video. The way it is recorded, music, and how pro these two are - relaxed and focused on techniques
Yoddecha's reaction while he was on the floor was priceless. HAHA
Damn dude, I want to have controlled sparring like this! Every time I spar with someone, they try to rip my freakin head off.
really beautiful sparring, congratulations for the filming and the music
Amazing sparring! Great video
Awesome camera work
incredible sportsmanship, no better than the other, Love it!
Everyone who respects sparring in martial arts and combat sports need to learn from this. So many places don't encourage this way of sparring and most people just go for fast or power punches and think it's all about hurting and KOing their sparring partner...
Goof Off bruh, you never go to fights I guess. Sometimes you gotta spar hard and simulate a fight
Sparring can be great fun and very technical. You don’t have to get your head bashed in. If you want to do that find someone and agree to that. Thank you for this excellent video. Pure class.
best sparring video ever!!!
For anyone interested in the song:
Mazhar Ve Fuat - Sür Efem Atini
Awesome sparring!

Beautiful fight!
Stating the obvious, but had to because this is soo good. Superb sparring. Dzabar you are a beast man; relentless, fearless and scary. Respect!

anyways.... what an enjoyable sparring session to watch, 2 warriors!
thanks a bunch
from what i've heard it will be worth the drive i'd take to get there
that version is not the same as this one, the original dont have bass and it have singing. Where can i find the remix version like the one in this Yokkao video?
show!!!! parabéns...
Music is awesome, where can i get this instrumental please?
Very tidy light session.
Fantastic video promoting the main purpose of sparring
this is dam awesome ! =OO
Hey,what style does he train?Kickboxing or Muay?
very nice. song name?
I think your right, even if it's on one month off one month type deal the quality of training would make up for the price and distance.
Thanks
Both of these guys have great technique, I'm envious.
Nice.
ealy days of yoakko, now its packed wow...
early
Muito bom o treino.
whats the name of the song?????
epic music.. epic sparring
beautiful sparring...
2:59 nice punching combo. I should try more combos like that while sparing.
love the video and the music!
Dzhabar can fight southpaw just as good as orthodox...
Whats the song playing in this called?
can someone please find THIS version of the song ?
Exactly, I tell them lets have a nice controlled session, since we aren't wearing head gear, but they still seem to just get the mindset of throwing bombs. I guess with more experience they will understand. I also have been studying Muay Thai for around two years as well. I love it can't get enough of it, I hope someday to train and fight in Thailand that would be my dream.
Seriously...What is the title of this song?!?
PS
Awesome sparring session!

what is song's name
anyone know if Sityodtong usa (massachusetts) is a quality gym for muay thai
Love his blue shorts.
great video, music?
+Matias Rodriguez music is "feeling myself by arap camp ;)
can someone give me a copy of this song, instrumental by the way?
what's the song
Good sparring
I wonder wy there are such few yoddecha's vids here on youtube.
nice boxing by askerov
Donde es lo de l bideo
music ? :)
So much difference with noobs and pro sparring sessions. 2 Pros in training here know how to only apply 50-60% of power. Noobs like to go in at 100% and then get owned by pros. Dzhabar's body shots are incredible. Fantastic sparring
That's how we support to spar. I will try it next time I spar.
The blue shorts guy was hitting a lot harder than the red shorts guy, even though it was only friendly sparring.
Because he has more Power ( weight )
and because he hit him in the nuts at 2:18 pointed out by another dude in the comments. then he turned it on with some body shots
Because his skill level is far lower than the Thai. He has less control, balance and technique.
i got dizzy watching that
@LanXangLaoSThaBrave going to see this match soon. I will hope the best for Buakaw !
anyone who trains that kind of sport seriously must train like it most of the time...coz most ppl-especially the ones who don't train for such sports- don't understand that if u play to hurt ur sparring partner (like if u where playin in an actual fight) u won't be able to train next day or days so what good would that be? Technical sparring also gives you the chance to improve your technique your abillity to move around and lots of other important things... :)
Yoddecha Sityodtong did not want to hurt him because this is TRAINING for Askerov
Yeah, this is what it looks like when pros w some real experience trust each other and want to work through all the ranges, not just trying to throw bombs and prove anything- this is great, technical Thai Boxing! If your training partners don't move like this, give them a few years...
This is very good sparring. When people hear Sparring in US they try to take your head off I'm like WTF?
Epic
Got the video running on youtuberepeater, The difference between these two is, that Yoddecha rest in himself, whereas Dzhabar needs action for stimulation. Espc. the way the shoulders are beeing held, or the diff. in these two fighters, indicate this.
Very nice sparring, but they wouldn't fight in the same categories, would they ? Because Dzhabar looks heavier.
I practise Muay Thai and sometimes MMA, and i'm laughting so hard about your comment hahahaha
In thai rules you are not allowed to kick a grounded opponent.
kicking after a sweep or a trip does sometimes result in a kick or knee to a still "falling" opponent IF the ref is to slow to get in the middle.
lovely! but i prefer Swedish spa.
no elbows??
Sparring digne de ce nom !!
askerov is nice and he is very brave fighter, buakaw the same
i hope it will be a nice fight
shok dee kap for both
que buen saprring
XD excelente tecnica
I love Jabbar's Style
So the training fee was Bht 250/person
I wish my sparring was like this, I'm the only thaiboxer at my gym everyone else is mma related. Every time i spar my partner is always trying to prove something by throwing wild punches and spinning back kicks. It's annoying as balls.
They would be taking each others heads off! But since over there they fight so often, they play spar!they fight
It would be like an hour drive give or take to get there, but were I am muaythai is really hard to find and the ones you do find are basically kickboxing calling themselves muaythai
just different sport rules, it doesn't make any of them harder coz it has more or less rules. A hard fight is a result of a hard opponent. Boxing is considered harder than both by a lot of muay thai champions and the absence of strikes doesn't make judo easier than another sport. u get my point? Athletes just choose what they like most or also their own interests... i personally love muay thai and boxing for practice but prefer to watch kickboxing/k1 rules (G.petrosyan and saki especially)
O Dzhabar tá calminho né!
это тренировка Аскерова с тренером а не спаринг.!!!! Yoddecha Sityodtong чемпион люмпини
What size gloves are those? anyone?
16 oz. i suppose
14 oz
Nut kick at 2:18. Gets a little more heated after that :)
haha nice catch. Hit those body punches with some extra power shortly after.
My trainer allows us to throw and kick... but wait, it´s only if you are sitting or trying to get up, so you´re right... Anyway, the point is that muay is harder than k1, no doubt.
@N1ceV1d Dzhabar is not even kickboxing, he only has strength in his arms!
