The difference from 2022 to 2023 is insane, coach BV has done great and y'all boys have put in the work to take that 6-7 season to get where you guys are now. Some fans don't understand it takes more than one year to recoup a team that was gutted by the previous HC. In any case, go get that win in the Alamo Bowl! JFA will take OU to the next level. I've been Oklahoma fan my whole life came and see you boys play 4 times this year. There alot OU fans who aren't the best of us don't let those ones get to yall the real true fans know what BV is doing for us and we are behind Jackson 100% and Mr. Anderson you are beast young man I truly believe you going be one best receivers in college in next year or 2 for sure definitely gonna be first round pick. On a heavy note, my family poured it all out on me the other day, and my brother told me the MOST WISE advice that i needed to hear. I said "why is everyone telling me what I should be doing, like everybody keeps hammering how they are Better than Me "
He said "Brother, none of us think we are better than you, we all Know you are better than who you are right now"
It really opened my eyes. They was never against me, I wasn't a point of focus to throw punches at. I AM a point of pride and hope, and admiration, and excitement for what I might do next! All kinds of things!
I was in the lowest of lows, and this sort of "intervention" just completely changed my view on life. And I'm glad it all happened.
I'm not an athlete, but I'm an artist and musician who also loves college football. But I think this can apply.
I didn't realize that a lot of the comments weren't hate on me for every mistake.
It was all the voice of belief that I'm destined for greatness, I can make it there, and I WILL make it there. A lot of people believe in me and SUPPORT me is the key word.
Support. Not hate wanting to see you fail. It may feel that way at times, but I promise it's not how people truly feel.
It's Support, with a little tough love.

I have been an OU fan since the early 60s and I believe some fans are spoiled and should keep their mouths shut. I am here for the players and the team and I will always support the players and the team. I have seen many ups and downs with the teams at OU and I appreciate the talent and the coaching staff that is here now. Stay tapped.
Amen, exactly! To me this is the real fans. Some are loud and just want to see the full potential, but there are also a lot of fake fans out there being the loudest of them all.
Me myself, I'm worried to even congratulate any player on anything mid-season because I'm just that superstitious 😂
So I am 💯 % guilty of not saying enough goodness about my Sooners, but I'm working on being better with superstitions 😂
Hey, this season completely blew my expectations out of the water. I was hoping for just 1 more win. But we're looking VERY bright for this new era. I couldn't ask for a better situation after adversity and heading into more adversity.

Same here, only born and raised in Louisiana. Been here my whole life, yet have loved the Sooners since 1967 when Bob Warmack was their QB. Like you, I've seen the highs and the lows, but no matter what, win or lose, still always wear my OU hat and t-shirts. These three guys are special, with great attitudes. Look forward to seeing how all their careers play out.

A big portion of the fandom had their screws loosened during that 2021 season when we had NC expectations. Then it all blew up at the end of the season when Riley unexpectedly bolted.
Before that, the fandom mostly seemed realistic and level headed. Now most of them on that other app are highly oversensitive and pitiful. It's an embarrassment to the rest of us who are still level headed.

Nic's travel experience was nutts. My wife and I had a 30 minute window at LaQuardia to make our connect. It was our first time in that airport. 30 minutes to get off one plane and get on another, had no time for even a tiny mistake, had to change levels and located our gate to find nobody there as it had changed, heard the announcement for final boarding for our flight at a different gate, sprinted over there and just made it. We went through LaQuardia like OJ on the old Hertz commercial. Broke a sweat.

Also, not all criticism is "hate". It's a weak cope and a weak defense to label all criticism as "hate". But the fans are a major reason why the sport is successful, and they have the right to talk about the sport and criticize. Many criticisms may be unwarranted, unjustified, or come from a perspective that doesn't have the full picture. But players can't expect to only recieve praise.
I'm as critical of myself, or even moreso, as I am of my favorite team.

Im glad Jackson threw the Ints in last years Bowl game. Way better than a perfect game because last year didn't matter at all and now after that game Jackson has live mistakes to learn and grow from. If he had had a perfect game he would have learned less from the game and grown less as a player. Some mistakes are really blessings in disguise.
