- A push dagger can definitely increase your chances of survival as it is a discreet way of carrying a dagger that blends well and can be used without changing your movement patterns from your ordinary boxing.
But what do you need to consider when looking for a push dagger?
Here I compare the Cold Steel Safe Maker 2 and the Schrade MOE in the 3 areas I believe are important to have a hard look at before going forward with your push dagger of choice.
Enjoy!

Cold steel without even watching they seem to overdo everything they do and I am a big fan
Thank you for sharing this
Whoa! I can’t believe what happened with the schrade on the sturdy test 😮
Surprised me as well!
Good information, thanks 👍
I've been carrying push daggers for past 4 years and I've had 15 diffrent models in my hands from diffrent companies. I sold most of them except for cold steel urban edge, safe maker2 and 1 as they are overall the best out of all of them. Effotless penetration, the best grip that doesn't hurt your hand upon impact on hard material, thickness od the blade and chiesel grind gives those blades really strong tips. Overall they're easy to conceal, I carre one of those 3 depending on what I'm wearing and the only dawnside is the sheath system that is OK but as it sometismes left my belt with the sheath I switched to ulticlips on all models and now that's what I wanted.
My first model was schf54 but it was too easy to break the tip off and the handle had too short shaft that connects the blade to a handle, good choice bro.
Can you tell me what size or model of ulticlip for a safe maker one? Thank you in advance for your help
@@joemac4100 Sure, Ulticlip 3+ or Slim 3.3 for the big boy, I have an old full flat version of ulticlip 3+ clip, but I'm sure you can put a standard version folded Ulticlip 3+ on safe maker I sheath - you're gonna need to drill dwo holes in a sheath as the cold steel unfortunately put 3mm eyelets instead of standard 5mm... I can recomend to just order a custom kydex sheath for this model - it's definitely worth it. Even if the knife is not expensive, it's worth to have a great sheath especially a knife that is meant to be used primarily as a weapon. czcams.com/video/uOiIFUSQseQ/video.html
@@xklocu1812 thank you
Excellent insights
Thank you!
love my schrade !!!! enjoy the night
I just got the Moe but now i think i should switch to the sm2. The distance between knuckle and blade is really small on the moe.
Yeah, it was that for me too 😢
If you like safe maker 2 from cold steel you need to try urban pal from cold steel
The Schrade works as a nice EDC cutting tool but I keep my Cold Steels sharp.
How about a comparison video on Safe maker 1 vs 2 ? 🙂
That's a great idea! I don't have the Safe Maker 1 yet, but I will definitely make a comparison video as soon as I get it!!
✌😎
I have the Safemaker 1 and it's designed for defense/last ditch weapon and pushing through flesh, guarantee whoever is on the receiving end won't be doing well at all.
I look forward to getting the Safemaker 1 too and making a comparison video between the two!
Yes thats a pushdagger…
Cold steel will never let you down. I won't own any other brand.
