He's not kidding about "quality of life" thing. When you're constantly dealing with abnormal heartbeats, it affects so much and just ruins your days and weeks and quality of life goes down the tubes.
I would agree, Linda. I've been dealing with this again recently, myself. Some are saying I just need to do some things to decrease my anxiety. I can do that, but I am still often getting nervous about the skipping heart beats coming back. I also notice I slump quite a bit because I'm a little afraid if I straighten my posture, my heart will start beating quicker than usual again.
Lynn Walker Totally understand, I have been physically ill for the past year gone even lost ability to work with all the pain. The doctor's appointments are too far between but what you said about when I slumping I have less palpitations and heart rhythm are more normal but still not good for one's posture. I can only feel safe to stretch when in bed safer.
i will tell you how to stop palpitation in day as well as night 1)Is to take deep breaths Inhale and then exhale imagining pushing anxiety out 2)Is to keep deep brething as first priority then heart beats eg if your heart beats very fast even though you start deep breathing dont pay attention to it trust me my bp was 180 when i was getting palpitation after 20 min when i check it went to normal.Just do deep breathe it will calm your brain as well as your heart
Please try Hawthorn extract in juice form. It can be very effective at reducing or eliminating ectopic etc palpitations. I have used it and can recommend this ancient remedy. Good luck x
I started exercising daily, eating fruits and vegetables in the morning and a salad for dinner and my palpitations eventually went away. Try a lifestyle change, especially if you're a smoker that doesn't exercise
La Gloria Es De Dios I am a you tuber like you, I can’t help you, like a doctor I just share what has worked for me, for palpitations, maybe research, Magnesium Glycinate, it works for me. Also know that magnesium citrate is excellent for me coz I have constipation issues, if you don’t, then I’m not sure if this will give you to many bowel movements, but it’s awesome I like using it....about the Glycinate the company NOW has hit take a look....or before you purchase anything else try taking a nice decent pinch of pink Himalayan salt on your tongue & drink some water, keep trying stuff because your MD ain’t going to help you, just remember for your MD there’s NO money in healing you so they going to keep treating you, research your condition it’s easy, mostly on CZcams, checkout Dr Eric Berg too... all the best
I spent 8 months in Taiwan. I met cardiologist, gastroenterologist, neurosurgeon. tests after tests, spent thousands of dollars. Everyone ignored me when i said 'my heart palpitations are related to my digestion'. Then i returned to india and spent 4 months, meeting various doctors, again spending thousands of rupees, still no change. Finally you explained exactly what is happening with me and exact cause of it. Just by following your suggestions, my palpitations are gone.
I went to see a Cardiologist and was told " you have arrhythmia, it is nothing serious , it will come and go" I carried on having palpitations until i watched this post, went and got some magnesium supplement and so far have been clear of palpitations. Thank you thank you thank you , your a star !!!
I love your videos! I thought it might be helpful to post my experience... I have had horrible anxiety, heart palpitations, spikes in BP, etc, over the years. The last couple of years it has gotten progressively worse. Doctors could find no issues other than the high BP. It would sometimes be as high as 170 over 100. I am an active, fit, 58 yr old female pescatarian with no history of heart disease and taking no meds. After watching several of your videos and doing lots of additional research I began omitting gluten from my diet. It was a TOTAL GAME-CHANGER. No more anxiety, no more palpitations and no more blood pressure spikes. It may not work for everyone, but it is certainly worth a try. Blessings!
Hi Joy, wow Im impressed to read your post. I have Afib too and I recently about 3 days now have realized that I'm allergic to gluten and eliminated it from my diet. So far so good and I'm more confident now by reading your post. Thanks and thanks to Dr. Gupta You are so amazing thanks for sharing all of these great videos.
I had a severe recurrence of A-Fib on April 12, 2018. My cardiologist sent me to the ER and scheduled me for cardiac ablation. I declined his instruction and did not go to the ER or do the ablation. After listening to your videos, I have been in sinus rhythm since that time! Thank you Dr. Gupta. Your education has reduced my anxiety about my condition and that obviously was one of my triggers for A-Fib, along with the magnesium deficiency, lack of sleep, lack of sunlight and unmanaged stress. I am systematically watching all your videos and learning a lot. Thank you for helping us!
@yeetus the substance I'm speaking of is a very popular food in the Asian countries and is eaten with every meal. They have converted it into a supplement because most people hear in the states cannot get it or either it's a lot of trouble to make. It's okay. Otherwise known in Asia as NATO... Nattokinase
This!! I do have palpitations and afib, and I started watching your videos that I found online while waiting to see a cardiologist. I started taking magnesium as you suggested because it was simple to do. Started taking a walk every day as I realized since Covid I have been not as active, I have become fearful, stuck indoors mentally if you will. I quit drinking lovely wines as I noticed heart palpitations after especially red wine. So I cut out wine. My symptoms have improved drastically after a month of magnesium and these dietary changes. Yesterday I finally saw the cardiologist and she asked why I was there. I told her my story and she said, great, you are on the right track now, follow up in 3 months but I am not concerned about your grade 2 afib with the steps you are implementing to improve symptoms. Dr. Gupta, I am so very grateful for your educational videos! Thank you thank you! May God bless you richly for your generous sharing of time and knowledge to teach.
My doctor thinks its not necessary to inform me and/or just wants to give me medication or says "yeah it's fine" and wants me to leave. Doctors in Europe barely have any time or take the time to really talk to their patients. Was better a decade ago where they actually told you what might be wrong with you and actually asked you if you want medication or not and what alternatives may look like. Thank god for doctors like Dr. Sanjay Gupta!
Jim Of LH / Medicine is "Capitalistic". It never benefits MDs/Cardiologists, to help people out of "the kindness of their' hearts" (pun intended). Especially in the US. The US medical system- is morally and spiritually CORRUPT.
Some points mentioned: Eat unprocessed food Have magnesium rich foods Avoid fatty foods Avoid foods causing acid reflux Get ecg tracing when you are having palpitations to define the type of palpitations
Thank you so much for your time in making these videos. Most doctors wont talk to us without getting a paycheck out of it. You're very informative and generous.
This gentleman giving away this advice for free embodies what the ancient duty of a doctor was: a public service taken by kind generous people who wanted to HEAL and GIVE life and health to others. Not the horrendous profession that attracts status-seeking, greedy, arrogant people in the modern world.
God bless the Drs that advise there patients to go the natural way instead of putting them on meds that have so much side effects . Thank you Dr Gupta , this world need real Drs like you
Hello Dr. Sanjay. I am from Pakistan. I have severe attacks of heart palpitations. Found you on utube and Alhamdulillah..I am much better after following your instructions.
My last cardiologist visit here in the US started with the question. "Are you working?" Then asked.. "What are you doing?" That's all he asked. Didn't even listen to my heart with a stethoscope. You are a breath of fresh air sir. Wish you were my cardiologist.
I went to the ER because I was having very strong scary heart palpitation episodes. I recently changed my diet and started some supplements under the guidance of a natural health practitioner. Explaining this to the ER Dr and nurse I actually got eye rolls and sighs... They called poison control for my vit d, magnesium, b complex and probiotics I'm taking. The Dr was scolding me for being on vit d. So I told her to check my vit d. The test results were not back for a couple of days. I found out I'm still low! Definitely not overdosing on vit d. I hate the treatment I get when I tell them I am doing things naturally. BTW I've continued my diet changes, exercise and supplements and I haven't had an episode yet!! I found out it was a skipped beat I was having. One of your videos taught me that. I helped myself through research and finding you more than the Drs I have seen. Thank you!
One more thing is I quit doing all their blood pressure medication because it was killing me and I've seen some great videos how changing your diet will help greatly! The doctor I seen says that your blood pressure is supposed to go up and down and your body regulates it! There's a reason for high blood pressure! I seen a video called, sick, fat and nearly dead on CZcams and I believe I'm going to try his diet!
Thank you doctor Gupta...unfortunately in India in a super speciality hospital we pay INR 700 to a cardiologist for consultation but they don't have time to talk to the patient for 07 minutes...your videos are really invaluable for all such patient and people of India and other under developed countries...thanks a lot.
Great videos. Saw the cardiologist who said that AFwas high. On meds at this time until they do more tests. Am now taking Vit C and more magnesium. Thanks so much.
thank you for your honesty and informative health education. In a world built on greed, crime, and selfishness, we need more doctors like you! God bless!
Absolutely Brilliant Doctor, spot on! I’ve been battling this condition for decades, all I have learned in those years you have covered in one video! I really appreciate your genius.
Thank you so much, for this information!!! I have just recently been diagnosed with PAC's, and they drive me crazy. Have been having it a lot in the past year, but just actually found out what was going on, about two months ago. My Cardiologist did exactly what you said. Told me they weren't dangerous, and went on about her business. This left me scared and confused. I had a very sneaky feeling that they were caused from my diet. Though I have been doing well with watching what I eat, and losing 30lbs since November 2014 :D I added red wine for the "heart healthy" benefits. When you said wine, a light bulb went off in my head. I have a lot of things to work with now, and I thank you so much for taking the time to tell us these thing's. Only a true caring soul would take their time to something like this, for a bunch of people they don't know. All doctors should be like you! Thank you so much for this priceless information! Also, the comments below about Avocado was another light bulb moment. I have been craving them, and not knowing why. I imagine I am pretty deficient in magnesium. Thank you so much, really! This does so much for my anxiety over it all!!
You are a good doctor with great bedside manners. I work in health care and see doctors spend no more than 5 minutes with patients. Most doctors have no understanding in nutrition and provide no guidance on what to eat.
Very kind of you to take the time to broadcast these videos - truly a very generous undertaking that for me helped me to understand what several trips to my GP failed to address - thanks again, a friend from Canada
Thank you Dr.Gupta.You gave me courage to say no to BP drugs at the onset of the problem and instead to focus on all the issues you talk about , Lifestyle, diet and herbal medicine while I wait for a heart monitor test. After two weeks my numbers are already better. Very
Thank you so much Doc. Your smile, friendly facial expressions reduces 50%of the ailment, what a nice way of calming patients down. God bless you and give you more wisdom and grace.
So happy to have found your videos! Since palpitations affect my life quality so much, I try to educate myself and learn how to deal with it. I know most of them are not dangerous or painful, but they are so scarry!!I am a nurse working at a hospital and 3 times I went to ER right where I work. The last time I was finally admitted for 3 days since I was diagnosed with sinus tachycardia that would go on for 5 hours straight. My doctor was nice but busy, so he did not have much time to explain the way you Dr. Gupta are doing it, thank you so much!!! Its very important for palps sufferers to hear that !
These things helped me A LOT: Quitting caffeine (especially coffee with cream and sugar) Lower sugar intake Lower alcohol intake Getting a lot more sun (vitamin D) -- this helped a lot! Having vegetable juice a few times a week Easing up on heavy exercise No Dairy (except for my cheese!) I used magnesium for a while, and it helped. But I no longer use it, so I now use more natural methods. BTW: I did take magnesium supplements for a while (6 months) which helped a lot but then they started to backfire. Now I don't take any magnesium. UPDATE: I've been using Hawthorne Berries for the past few months, and they've helped a lot WITHOUT any side effects for me. Although, I have to keep the dose low because it can lower my blood pressure too much.
Maybe because you're scared or nervous (to be outside). Find a quiet place where you can enjoy the sun. The sun was put there for a reason. You need sunlight. Don't listen to those people about skin cancer. They just want to sell sunscreen lotion. Sun is good for you.
No, Crammer Jack, you're a dense moron. Do you think our ancestors stayed indoors all the time like we do today? Do you think that primitive tribes of today get skin cancer? No, they don't. The sun is not the enemy. If it was, we wouldn't be here today. Next, you're going to tell me and the rest of the world that water and air are dangerous, and we should stop drinking and breathing. YOU are a DENSE MORON. Just listen to yourself. Where do you get your logic, and where do you get off on calling other people names, turd.
Red B: Agree, just watch out not to get the red sun burn, that's dangerous and can give cancer after 10 years, and esp if you get burned on sama place more than once. Right, Sun IS everything and so good a doctor. Just remember, the Ozone holes has unfortunately changed the situation. Cave men didn't destroy the Ozone layer, and were not (compulsive) sunbathers, they spent time and worked in the sun naturally, seeking shadow if it felt too hot etc.. Sensitive or ill ppl should wear a sun hat. Great that you got better from the good changes!
Wonderful, I have been suffering with this for a decade and you are the first doc to lay it on the line so simply. Keep up the good work, you are changing lives.
oh wow. Thank you so much Dr Sanjay for doing this research and sharing your findings. I really love how you shared virtually everything related to food and it totally is great at allaying fears and am sure improving the quality of life too. I have found that when most people I work with make these kinds of 'little' but very important adjustments in their diets, it totally improves their conditions! Thanks a lot. Watching this, in 2020, I just thought it would be great to interview you too and have you share this too and more with my audience. Looking forward to that opportunity.
Dr you are awesome I was concerned about bradycardia and as soon as I found your videos I can't stop watching them every day very explicit and understandable thank you so much
I've been eating real food for a year now, no caffeine, no alcohol, very limited sugar in my homemade protein bars, and magnesium supplements (when my stomach isn't upset) and limited starches. I do yoga, aquafit and walk. I'm 22 months off Ativan (1 mg taken occasionally, then more often as panic attacks arose) and suffering with protracted benzodiazepine withdrawal syndrome. I've been complaining of the heart issues for 2 years and finally a 48 hour monitor showed something and my doc has referred me to cardiologist in two weeks. IN the meantime, the palps/missed beats are causing such grief, they stimulate panic in me - I"ve been in panic attack mode for over a week now. I'm so scared but your video helped calm me down a bit. It's great to find informative videos by a doctor!
Thank you for your videos. They are so helpful. As I watch this particular video on how to get rid of palpitations I can see things that I can do to help prevent these episodes. My cardiologist had me wear a holter monitor for one month. And I did experience the palpitations during that time so they were recorded. When I met with him for the results, he told me that they were harmless extra beats. But as you said in your video, they are still troublesome and worrisome. I have started taking Magnesium and also added Turmeric to my daily vitamin regime... and this all seems to help a great deal. Thank you for being there and please continue your videos. They are so helpful.
Thank you for being a great teacher, You are a brilliant role model for your profession. The whole series is useful and I am going to recommend them to colleagues. Really clear information.
I just had an echocardiogram for doubles beats which I only got once in a while ,my echo results are really good ,they couldn't find anything, the cardiologist told me mine are pvcs and are not dangerous at all, thank God! He told me my heartbeats per minute were perfect and the heart is pumping really good and my left ventricle looks good too ! 😀 no thickening,! Woo hoo ! Waiting for the results was the worst anxiety in my life ,also my first echocardiogram, go back every 2 years for check ups , might be a little easier 2nd time around .i know I'll be sleeping good tonight ! 😊 peace of mind is a beautiful thing ! 😀
Wish I had your peace of mind,I've been on tambocor forA/F for 20 yrs when 10 yrs ago my Dr said I would need an op in 10 yrs time, well I have just had echo, and find I have 2 leaky valves,he has sent me home with a script APO FRUSEMIDE, I have no swollen ankles I am 82 yrs he says I need an Op,I have not taken the tablets.he does not send me to a cardiologist I feel confused.
Really appreciate all your videos on PVCs and palpitations. So many doctors just shrug them off as harmless but they cause *so much* anxiety when they're in the hundreds/thousands a day.
Brilliant. Thank you. Why didn't I think to look here sooner? Just hearing your supportive words have helped as I felt so alone with this problem despite medical investigation and my instincts telling me otherwise.
Well said. Being reassured and supported by a wide spectrum of information is half of the cure---my anxiety about my condition was causing more A-Fib. Most cardiologists have two cures---blood thinners and beta blockers. A possible third is a cardiac ablation. Ouch.
Amazing feedback! Wish you practiced in the U.S. You hit it right in the nail on how I feel about my palpitations but the doctors here see it as non worrisome and i'm left with lots of unanswered questions and not feeling reassured
I am so grateful I have found this. I would give you a hug if I could! I am one of those who have needed to be taken seriously with cardiac/gastric palpitations. Also always being fobbed off with some sort of anti anxiety. Yes, without the re assurance we DO get anxious!! Oh how it changes the quality of our lives! We need answers and we need to understand so that we can do all that we can to help the situation. I soooo appreciate your videos.
I believe you were a godsend to me today because everything you’re saying makes so much sense to me and everything that I’ve been going through regarding these heart palpitations. I am looking forward to watching more of your videos. Thank you so much for doing what you do it is very much appreciated. Sending lots of love from Texas USA.
Waw for a young doctor you are very educated about your field, and that makes you better than all of the rest , you educated yourself more and gained more experience .
I haven’t exercised in nearly 3 years and recently been woken up by heart palpitations (thumping) very night and It’s caused me to get extreme anxiety. I made a lifestyle change- good diet, exercise for 20 mins daily, take magnesium and fish oil supplements. It’s worked so well
First time listening! It was powerful and compassionate. I have begun to have missed heart beats or very slowed beats to about 40 bpm. Im 64, 6’1” tall. 155 lbs. I know when I am having missed or slowed beats because I lose my breath and feel my heart rate on my carotic artery’s. I have been into nutrition for over 40 years. Everything that you named in this video as a potential Culprits to Palpitations I do not, and have not eaten in at least 30 to 40 years. I am gluten-free, dairy free, caffeine free, No nightshades, no peanuts . i’ve used supplements for over 40 years and for the past two years have been rigorously trying many different forms of magnesium. All forms of magnesium definitely give me severe lower leg cramps at night. For the past three months I have been using over 2500 mg of three different types of magnesium. I’m my severely constipated my whole life and no change with all the magnesium and no change in heart disruption. EKGs are all normal. I have an appointment with a cardiologist two months out from now. I’m perplexed as to what to do??? I also have been doing time restricted eating for over a year.
First of all of I have to say thank you so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to share some of your vast knowledge and your concerns on our day to day difficulties... For Free non the less! You are truly a blessing!
+York Cardiology the pleasure is all mine Doctor... you are definitely in the right business because it's clear you have a big heart! Keep up the gr8 work!
You are an amazing person and a great doctor, thank for your supportive words. This video really hit me hard. I wish you a great future and I hope more doctors follow your way of teaching, you seem like an empathic person that really puts his heart in what he does. I wish you well sir.
I am so thankful Dr. Gupta for the wealth of good information about heart ! I am really being helped by your videos! So much information here! I wish I had watched these earlier , before going for all the tests I have gone through !
Thank you Dr Gupta. I have had papitations for a while.I was diagnosed with mild mitral valve prolapse but I ve always known that my ectopic beats were caused by certain foods+drinks...Increased Magnesium intake...Cut out caffeine, salad dressings, wine, bread, foods with preservatives. The results are amazing...Within a week.Unbeliavable! Thank You
thank you so much! I have been binging your videos to manage my palpitations and you have inspired many of us with this struggle - very kind of you - I wish you all the best, Sir!
I've been watching your videos, and the information you give is extremely comforting and assuring. I've been struggling with irregular heartbeats for several years now. I've seen a psychiatrist, and cardiologist. Both cleared me and said there were no issues with my heart and that it could be anxiety induced symptoms. I refuse to believe what I feel is all in my head. These symptoms hold me back from my regular lifestyle. I can't even play with my kids without experiencing these symptoms, and it's so frustrating. The symptoms you've explained in your videos are exactly what I've been experiencing! And I've always known I had acid reflux. I've always struggled with it, but never thought it could be linked to my heart palpitations. I will definitely be watching all your content here on YT, and will make changes in my diet etc. thanks for your knowledge DR!
I get Tachycardia in 2 to3 months. When it starts I chew 1 tab. of Calaptin 40. It helps after 20 minutes but I feel weak for 2 to 3 days. Please advise. Regards
Thank you for your efforts with this video. You speak outside of the normal media help profiles! ; This means you are making an effort to speak outside the normal route. I therefore thank you, again!
You are so reassuring. It is very much appreciated. I fasted a lot in the last year to lose weight. Yes, I did lose a lot of weight but ended up having heart palpitations. Very scary. However I have started taking magnesium and potassium and that has fixed it!.......phew what a relief! I’m enjoying your videos and your lovely manner. Thank you!
I commented on other of Dr. Gupta's videos about irregular heartbeats. Forgot to add that stopping eating after 7:00 pm at night and not eating again until around mid-morning the next day has lowered my inflammation drastically and has thereby lowered my symptoms. I learned about this compressed eating schedule from Dr. Satchin Panda, a pioneer in the body's own circadian rhythms.
Thanks for the video - a number of years ago I suspected that MSG was causing me irregular heart palpitations, always noticeable when lying in bed at night....after reading around further, I cut out anything with MSG or other flavour enhancers, and they stopped. Good to see a list in the video of other offending ingredients as well.
Thanks for the video I'm on the right path! Trying to get my vagus nerve healed from a car accident and I've been eating very very very healthy for some years now and I can tell that it really makes a big difference in my healing process. I've been using a magnesium supplement also in my water for many years and use magnesium lotion and take salt baths often. makes a huge differance!!
When I came across his videos on magnesium and how important it is to stabilizing the cardiac rhythm, I started taking Mg capsules and have never felt better. The palpitations went away! I take Mg every day since we are all chronically low in Mg, especially if you intermittent fast, eat keto or carnivore, and drink diuretic drinks like coffee and tea daily. Having the Mg supplement makes up for all this and I have zero palpitations now. Amazing to not have the anxiety of intermittent palpitations. Thanks doc!
Hi, could you share what type of Mg you take and what the dosage is? I have taken it before and it seemed to help my heart a bit but caused stomach cramps. Any help is appreciated!
Thanks for these videos! They are very helpful for all who suffer from afib. And the subject of diet is very neglected by the medical field, although incredibly important!
You are amazing! A Dr who truly cares about the health of others. Thank you ❤️. My dad died at 59 from heart disease. I don’t want to follow suit. I’ve lost 170 lbs. became a nurse and luckily all I have is PAC’s. Blood pressure pills gone!
Hi just dropping by to confirm that the magnesium citrate (100mg) i take in the morning after a meal has been working for me. It was almost immediate in stopping the palpitations. I hope this helps someone because I know what it’s like to live with them and the anxiety it causes.
@@cynthiagiles3178 the brand is Nature Made. They sell them at Walmart, I bought the gummies. They are high absorption magnesium citrate gummies. 200mg per serving but I only take one gummie so I’m only taking 100mg.
Thank you for sharing the information. It is nerve-wracking for me and I get so worried that something is wrong with my heart. My Dr says it is all to do with my anxiety. He is not ready to run any further tests. Canada has a very conservative health care system. Well will try the MG and see any change. Thanks
Hi Dr. Gupta, love your videos! They're very interesting and informative and you are very personable and explain things well :) I have a question, can you explain what 'processed' food is? Would an example be frozen dinners and snack/nut bars, even if the wrapping on the nutbars claim they are organic and non-gmo? THanks a bunch.
I've never seen so much positive comments in a CZcams video before. This must be great. I have palpitations and will follow every advise the doctor shared here and hope I will see a much needed difference. Thank you doctor.
Than you dr Gupta for all your information on heart disease.I feel so much better now as i know what may cause these problems which you explained so clearly n calmly...lots of love n hugs from singapore.God Bless you n keep up the great work...much appreciated....
Thank you Dr. Gupta. I have seen more specialist than I can count. Atenolol - the cardiac med I can take - has been taken off the market. It is the only cardiac med I don’t have a reaction to. I have suffered from Chrone’s for years. I am using medical marijuana to treat that. Works like a miracle. Thanks to your video I understand the relationship between the heart and GI problems. I just wish one of the specialist I had seen could have made this connection.
I can only feel safe to stretch when in bed safer.
i will tell you how to stop palpitation in day as well as night
1)Is to take deep breaths Inhale and then exhale imagining pushing anxiety out
2)Is to keep deep brething as first priority then heart beats eg if your heart beats very fast even though you start deep breathing dont pay attention to it trust me my bp was 180 when i was getting palpitation after 20 min when i check it went to normal.Just do deep breathe it will calm your brain as well as your heart
Please try Hawthorn extract in juice form. It can be very effective at reducing or eliminating ectopic etc palpitations. I have used it and can recommend this ancient remedy. Good luck x
@@meme-uo5yu I am exactly the same!
Finally a doctor who cares- very rare. Thank you. My cardiologist looks at me like I’m crazy when I tell him about the palpitations.
I sort of understand you.
Same
Yes I have been told that I am not young anymore as if that makes things better.
same for me
Same here.. they just stare and say nothing. Like dude something is happening what is it ?
I started exercising daily, eating fruits and vegetables in the morning and a salad for dinner and my palpitations eventually went away. Try a lifestyle change, especially if you're a smoker that doesn't exercise
sir can you please tell me what type of vegetables and fruits we have to take am also affected in this problem
Hey bro it’s working, my palpitations stopped
I sure wish it was that easy for me, walking & fruit cause them to be harder

2 years later, update?
How many milligrams per day.and I'm a big guy
23664gray u just looked up adult male per day 400 to 420 mg per day. A side effect of to much is heart palpitations. I swear that's what it said
I love your videos!
Thank you for helping us!
thank you!!!
You may want to add Nattokinase to your supplements. It's a powerful blood thinner, without the dangers of Coumadin.
@yeetus the substance I'm speaking of is a very popular food in the Asian countries and is eaten with every meal. They have converted it into a supplement because most people hear in the states cannot get it or either it's a lot of trouble to make. It's okay. Otherwise known in Asia as NATO... Nattokinase
@yeetus so isn't it up to the individual to make sure they can take anything before they do it ... I mean I don't see the harm in his recommendation.
can you sleep with heart palpitations? is it safe? because i feel like dying everytime i tried to sleep with heart palpitations
I am literally in the same boat! The Cardiologist here (Nevada) are booked months out, so I will implement these changes and see if it helps.
need more doctors like you to give information like this
thank you!
York Cardiology gr8 my heart is beating fast lol
Great vids.. but please let me know if Botox is safe with palps /or can it be the cause? I know Fish oil had a huge effect on my palps
You have restore my faith in the medical profession, God bless you, you are an angel
Some points mentioned:
Eat unprocessed food
Have magnesium rich foods
Avoid fatty foods
Avoid foods causing acid reflux
Get ecg tracing when you are having palpitations to define the type of palpitations
Thankyou Mansi
Thank you Mansi
Acid reflux my problem damn. , I need fix my eating
how do you get ecg tracing?
Probiotics will stop it all!
Thank you so much for your time in making these videos. Most doctors wont talk to us without getting a paycheck out of it. You're very informative and generous.
Howie Day you are so welcome Howie Day.. Thank you for this kind message
+York Cardiology YOU ARE A WONDERFUL PERSON TY SO MUCH!
+York Cardiology Hey does talking cold showers hey stop palpitations.
thanks Rosa
different people are different so if it works for you keep doing it
This gentleman giving away this advice for free embodies what the ancient duty of a doctor was: a public service taken by kind generous people who wanted to HEAL and GIVE life and health to others. Not the horrendous profession that attracts status-seeking, greedy, arrogant people in the modern world.
God has blessed him and in turn he chooses to bless us . Wow ! I’m so grateful.
Reminds me of how my dad was: Dr Oscar Danilo Rosales Arguello
Thanks God for Doctors like You.
God bless the Drs that advise there patients to go the natural way instead of putting them on meds that have so much side effects . Thank you Dr Gupta , this world need real Drs like you
Seriously doctor, i cannot even begin to explain the peace your videos have brought me. I appreciate you!
Me to also !
He's really listening to his patients and doing his own research! Very good doctor!
thank you for your honesty and informative health education. In a world built on greed, crime, and selfishness, we need more doctors like you!
Is magnesium good for palpitations and dizzyness
@@nalinigunawardana1461 lmao
And we sure don't have any in my town. They are only in the business of pushing pills and getting paid by Big Pharma.
Hello Dr.
Wish you were my cardiologist.
yeah and if you say no, not working, then they say " well that is your problem, go out there and do something ' .. SMH
DOCTOR Gupta is amazing
They're not doctors. Drug salesmen. They are not healing or curing anyone. The patients look worst under their care. So sad.
I have met those types.
Trying to figure out how deep is your pocket.
Stop telling them
Thank you doctor Gupta...unfortunately in India in a super speciality hospital we pay INR 700 to a cardiologist for consultation but they don't have time to talk to the patient for 07 minutes...your videos are really invaluable for all such patient and people of India and other under developed countries...thanks a lot.
In USA,you have to pay many times more, very expensive there
I feel better now. Here in Hawaii they will talk to you for 15 minutes!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much for making this video and sharing this information. Palpitations are frightening and I feel much better after listening!
You are a good doctor with great bedside manners. I work in health care and see doctors spend no more than 5 minutes with patients. Most doctors have no understanding in nutrition and provide no guidance on what to eat.
What's worse is when their ignorance is proffered with confidence.
Educating the public is key. We need more Doctors like this.
This is very generous . There is no real help for what is considered a nuisance health issue to doctors . This is truly a much needed public service .
Dr. Gupta you are a great physician! Thank you for your contribution in the youtube community and the reassurance pertaining to eutopic heartbeats.
Very kind of you to take the time to broadcast these videos - truly a very generous undertaking that for me helped me to understand what several trips to my GP failed to address - thanks again, a friend from Canada
You’re one of the most honest doctor who genuinely cares about there patients watching one of your video helped me to get a proper diagnosis
Thank you Dr.Gupta.You gave me courage to say no to BP drugs at the onset of the problem and instead to focus on all the issues you talk about ,

What you did for palpitation?plz explain..help me my condition is worse due to sinus tachycardia.
Thank you Dr. Gupta for being such a caring Dr enough to put information out there that is reassuring. We need some like you in the US
These things helped me A LOT:
Quitting caffeine (especially coffee with cream and sugar)
Lower sugar intake
Lower alcohol intake
Getting a lot more sun (vitamin D) -- this helped a lot!
Having vegetable juice a few times a week
Easing up on heavy exercise
No Dairy (except for my cheese!)
I used magnesium for a while, and it helped.
What kind of exercise do you do?
Are you still geting palps
Dr Gupta is the greatest doctor on earth. Hes a life saver. A True Angel from God. I love him so much. You healed us all.

You are my number one doctor.I am sure life will reward you.You have given me so much peace of mind.
Thank you for this information, you are a healer and following your calling, you have a kind spirit, God bless you!
Brilliant. Thank you. Why didn't I think to look here sooner? Just hearing your supportive words have helped as I felt so alone with this problem despite medical investigation and my instincts telling me otherwise.
+globalman Thank you:-)
You are beyond a doctor but a healer
I am so grateful I have found this. I would give you a hug if I could! I am one of those who have needed to be taken seriously with cardiac/gastric palpitations. Also always being fobbed off with some sort of anti anxiety. Yes, without the re assurance we DO get anxious!! Oh how it changes the quality of our lives! We need answers and we need to understand so that we can do all that we can to help the situation. I soooo appreciate your videos.
awww thank you...sending a hug back!

So what happened? Did your health improve, i am also suffering form gastric palpitations.
Look forward to your videos! We all should be so lucky to have a doctor like you! 🥰
In simple words...... Doc, you're the Best! :)
I haven’t exercised in nearly 3 years and recently been woken up by heart palpitations (thumping) very night and It’s caused me to get extreme anxiety. I made a lifestyle change- good diet, exercise for 20 mins daily, take magnesium and fish oil supplements. It’s worked so well
What magnesium can u explain
@@SAhildhalouria RnA reset ReMag is a liquid one that’s very good. Or try magnesium Taurate.
How much and what kind of magnesium?
You are a STAR! Breaking things down to simple laymen’sspeak! Anxiety quelling, certainly helps. Thank you
First time listening!
Did you take the shot? If so.....there is your answer

Thank you. This makes me feel I have some control in reducing palpitations.
I may never meet you Dr. Gupta but I really appreciate you, you are such a great Dr. You are truly special.
thank you so much!

Thank you!
As usual, your podcasts are very informative. Magnesium has been helpful in eliminating my PVCs. Thank you!!
Many thanks indeed Dr Sanjed. You put information over in such an easy way for us all to understand it so well. A huge thank you.
Great information. Glad I found this post. Can't wait to see the next part. Thank you.
Really love your videos! They are great, informative and helpful.
I wish you were in America would love to have you as my cardiologist
When I came across his videos on magnesium and how important it is to stabilizing the cardiac rhythm, I started taking Mg capsules and have never felt better. The palpitations went away! I take Mg every day since we are all chronically low in Mg, especially if you intermittent fast, eat keto or carnivore, and drink diuretic drinks like coffee and tea daily. Having the Mg supplement makes up for all this and I have zero palpitations now. Amazing to not have the anxiety of intermittent palpitations. Thanks doc!
Funny because they always say to not drink tea or coffee 🤷♀️
I need to restart taking magnesium
Hi, could you share what type of Mg you take and what the dosage is? I have taken it before and it seemed to help my heart a bit but caused stomach cramps. Any help is appreciated!
Thanks for these videos! They are very helpful for all who suffer from afib. And the subject of diet is very neglected by the medical field, although incredibly important!

Hi just dropping by to confirm that the magnesium citrate (100mg) i take in the morning after a meal has been working for me. It was almost immediate in stopping the palpitations. I hope this helps someone because I know what it’s like to live with them and the anxiety it causes.
What brand do you take?
@@cynthiagiles3178 the brand is Nature Made. They sell them at Walmart, I bought the gummies. They are high absorption magnesium citrate gummies. 200mg per serving but I only take one gummie so I’m only taking 100mg.

Thank you for sharing the information. It is nerve-wracking for me and I get so worried that something is wrong with my heart. My Dr says it is all to do with my anxiety. He is not ready to run any further tests. Canada has a very conservative health care system. Well will try the MG and see any change. Thanks
Magnesium taurate my cardiovascular research is the best stuff I have ever took for ectopics
Thank you for these insights and information. Be blessed.
