  • Pastor Mark Driscoll REBUKES CHURCH Over MALE STRIPPER!
At Stronger Men's Conference Mark Discoll calls out a seductive Jezebel spirit that had been allowed in the room. He rebukes the spirit and then gets called out by the pastor. Was he right? Was the Pastor right? What's the bible say about these situations? What's my reaction?

Who in their right "Christian" mind thought this was a good idea? I'm surprised everyone there didn't walk out.

I’m sure some did. I’ve heard it was an outreach event with the monster trucks and boxing but I’ve never heard of a $120 outreach event so … not the best look !

Nobody in the audience bothered to stand up and call this out? I guess very few actual Christians have the courage that which God calls. Luck warm.

Hey! God bless! Thanks for the watch!
I’m not sure. I’m not sure I’d stand up and call it out neither but possibly walk out in that moment. Especially if my son was with me. It seems the Holy Spirit called it out how it was supposed to be from what I’ve seen and heard

Its about time someone calls out theatre religion. The lack of HONOR of God in the house of God is crazy. It started with a slipery slope movement of pastors dressing like highshool kids and dressing in plain street clothes. Pastors used to reverence God be dressing up to preach and to represent God. Now churches have drifted very far into entertainment

American churches have lost their ways a while back it’s hard to find a good one to go to unfortunately the music is so loud it feels like clubs in most of them no wonder it became this

      Hey hey!
Thank you for your comment. I do agree it can be hard to find a good one outside major cities that have tons of options. I’m out here in small town Indiana and have to drive 40 minutes to our church. Not all American Churches but I have seen my fair share 😊 God is good and God bless!

It would be interesting to know what led the organizers to choose this as their opening....

      Hey Zambian!
The Conference was called Stronger Men’s Conference. I’m thinking the Pastor seen Alex’s performance on Britains Got Talent and maybe thought this represented “strength” to him. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Maybe some did ask for their money back, but there probably not a "refund" button on the site. I would do a "snail mail" and make a formal request.

While I think Mark’s assessment of the situation was likely accurate (I haven’t seen the performance myself but I don’t see how such a thing would be holy or fitting for an event like this), I do not think this situation equates to the overturning of the tables in the temple because both parties involved are believers, and we are told to treat believers with more love and deference. If Mark had a chance to talk with the organizing pastor about this and did not, he robbed this pastor of the chance to be corrected privately by his brother and make his own public statement of repentance. Instead it comes off as Mark making the decision, conscious or unconscious, to give himself the opportunity to appear more holy and pious to the public eye. It feels to me like he chose to glorify himself over giving his brother the chance to make things right.

If he did not do that on that moment, many brothers had gone home with that spirit.

      Hey hey!
Thank you for all your input! I personally seen comments of men who went to the conference that said the Holy Spirit clearly used Pastor Mark in that moment. I also know someone who attends the host Pastors church and said this video confirmed what they were feeling and ever since this happened there are things coming to the surface. I do believe the Holy Spirit had his way and led Pastor Mark to doing this.
We can only voice what we think so I’m thankful for your comment and this is what was on my heart to share in the video as well 🏆

Thanks for both of these replies, I hope I’m not misunderstood. Someone definitely should have said something onstage, I just think it would have been far better (and more Biblical) if Mark had approached the organizing pastor and tried to reason with him and give HIM the opportunity to right the wrong here before seizing the opportunity himself. It would have been a better example of brotherly love and restoration. However, had he done so and the organizer was ultimately unwilling to renounce the performance on stage, then Mark should have taken action and done exactly this. Either way, someone needed to get on that stage and say this, I just think Mark doing it without consulting according to Matthew 18 is causing undue scandal to the Body, causing division and power struggles.

@@alexandria1663 I respect and appreciate your position. Seems to be not the majority view but definitely a view that is considered in all this. The unique thing about it all is how great of friends they are. Pastor Mark knows the Scriptures and it seemed he was lead in this way. I agree that by approaching him first there was a possibility of not being addressed from the platform which was most important! Appreciate your comments!

You dont wait to correct a situation done in public in front of hundreds if men, you do it immediately in public. John lindell is clearly disqualified to be a pastor now.
