    Peso took over cause of the trombone and his unique voice. His voice alone makes a song catchy and fire 🔥.

    Peso's PR team was very strategic and good. Lots of people heard about him online before they even heard his music.

    As a African American I can honestly say from the guitar to the bass to the trumpet and even the Tolo is just 🔥 frfr I can honestly see this passing into singers and rappers to collaborate in either language

    Peso hit the way he has because he is a native Mexicano that can connect to people in the US. Connect with both worlds! 🇲🇽 🇺🇸

      @user-bu5rm8ik6m Před 7 měsíci +2

      Yeah, and his family is from Sinaloa and the music he makes originates from that northern region of Mexico aka Sonora and Sinaloa so it makes him more authentic than somebody like JOP who is Mexican-American whose family is not norteño but from Michoacan where they have a different traditional culture/music native to them.

  • @woe3207
    @woe3207 Před 8 měsíci +17

    Well there was many factors that made peso the
    "one" or the global one
    #1: his voice , super unique . Something no one has ever heard before and no matter what a unique voice like that will draw attention bad or good #2 strong team behind him, unlike all these Mexican artist like rancho humilde etc his record label has been committed to only one person which is peso and that shows. Since he's the only one they give it there all to him
    #3: he's started new waves of things and he genius for that. He didn't invent any of these but he's paired them with him like ski mask, his dance moves his mullet etc.
    #4 he's extremely versatile, he can do any genre unlike most of these Mexican artists who can't #5 he didn't invent the trombone but he also paired that to him, he made sure that was like his signature sound and people now hear trombone and think of him
    #6 he's taken advantage of everything 100% collabing with crazy artists and new artist like Karol 9, we woulda never thought Mexican artist would collab with Karol, or Eladio, or nicki Nicole, which has brought him fans from other countries.
    Something Mexican music has never seen

    • @uriellopez6529
      @uriellopez6529 Před 8 měsíci

      I definitely agree on voice, the voice matters to market. The versatility is yet to be seen as we haven’t seen a full English song with him on it yet, but if it pops off, then he’s fully established as the face of the genre

    • @alanramirez484
      @alanramirez484 Před 8 měsíci +1

      Wym foo, nicky had already collabed with Mexicans (Alemán)

    • @olg06
      @olg06 Před 7 měsíci +2

      #7 Stage Presence. It's very important. He basically acts more like a rockstar up there. Riles up the crowd, jumps, goes into the crowd, dances sexy for the ladies. Instead of just standing there stiff with a guitar in hand like many artists do.

    The reason why this kind of Northern Mexican music is famous now is because more young people in Mexico outside the northern region of Mexico are paying attention to it. Corridos and banda used to be consider tacky amongst young non-norteños in Mexico.

      @user-bu5rm8ik6m Před 7 měsíci +2

      Saying musica Mexicana is incorrect cause that’s too big of a category. Peso Pluma specifically makes Northern Mexican music primarily corridos.

    Peso passed everyone because of his voice , JOP Nata Jr H HP , they all set the bar to what it was to be on top , but Peso Pluma broke that fucking bar and surpassed it by miles with his voice , nobody remembers el belicon bc of the other guy , they got caught by pesos voice

  • @osvaldonunez1682

    • @user-bu5rm8ik6m
      @user-bu5rm8ik6m Před 7 měsíci +2

      JOP tries too hard to act and talk like a norteño and sinaloense just cause he’s into their culture like banda and corridos.

    Well the reason why Peso Pluma got big was the style he brought to the Mexican music it wasn't heard like that in a long time, im very excited for the new Junior H album. Regarding Peso Pluma ft Travis Scott is like whatevers to me, I been hearing to much of Peso Pluma song but I bet is going to be a banger of a song though

    Fuerza Regida was not that famous in Mexico, it was mostly Chicanos. Peso Pluma was first famous in Mexico which has a much bigger population and then mexican-americans.
    Also, Peso Pluma and Tito are actually from Sinaloa so they know this kind of music the best while JOP is from Michoacán.

    Peso’s PR and management team. They were there to expose him but they did it the smart way. They knew how to guide him and not let him comment on petty drama. While all the other artist were talking shit, peso had his head down and just hustled and let his team do their job and expose him on all platforms. My opinion. But that is one of the reasons of many. Behavior, attitude, etc

  • @1987luisj
    @1987luisj Před 7 měsíci +1

    I think PP is blowing up more than FR because FR is a group, and PP is just a single artist. Plus he has a mass-appeal look to him and he speaks English. This alongside adapting more of a rapper look early on when FR was still doing the typical MX group outfits.

    • @user-bu5rm8ik6m
      @user-bu5rm8ik6m Před 7 měsíci +1

      I think it’s also cause Peso Pluma is also culturally norteño/sinaloense cause his family is from there and the kind of music he makes comes from that northern region of Mexico. Meanwhile JOP is mexican-American with roots in Michoacan, a state that has a different traditional music than the one JOP makes. JOP comes off as those chicanos who try to act and talk like sinaloenses just cause he’s into banda and corridos.

    Peso took over because of his image that’s all. His image sells. Also he won a lot of people with humility. Which is what JOP lacks. That’s Fuera Regidas weakness, JOP’s Ego.

    • @user-bu5rm8ik6m
      @user-bu5rm8ik6m Před 7 měsíci +3

      JOP so desperately tries to act all “Sinaloense” just cause of the kind of music he makes. Peso Pluma comes off as more authentic cause he’s family is actually from Sinaloa, so he’s not faking his accent and stuff.

    It’s not musica mexicana, it’s Northern Mexican music. For people from Northern Mexico it’s not a trend, it’s our own specific culture. For other mexicans, it’s not something traditional to their region cause they have their own native music like mariachi.
