DIY Himalayan Top Box Rack Build

i love the function over form design as it suits the Himalayan. I'd like to do the same thing, but make a rack to replace the rear seat instead, like a smuggler case.

I just bought a 2021 demo Himalayan and it came with a heavy reinforced back rack, so that is one thing I don't have to worry about. I like the way you made the box attachment way, and the window lock is brilliant. I bet you (like me) spend a lot of time brainstorming at Bunnings.
