    To get that bottom bolt easily, I used a boxed end wrench and used another to piggy back on it as an extension. Way easier than trying to get a socket and extension on it.

    You should note that this motor mount is only compatible with the manual transmission element. The automatic transmission motor mount is different.

    What were the symptoms of the broken front motor mount?

      For us it was discovered at the Mandatory State inspection. If you look at it under the car, you can see if it is good or not. We will be adding another video fir the front motor mount on a 2003 Automatic Element.

      We had a difficult choice either grind out the edge to make it larger OR, drill out the hole.

      Yes, it was ,it was just not cast well.
