    I have element 2004 awd ,recently when I drive it and going 25 to 30 it shakes but while going over 30 the car runs smoothly even at higher speeds trying to figure out what is the cause the shaking. Can you please help ?

      Its really hard to say. Bad engine mounts would vibrates at idle and engine jumpy when you shift through gears, you won't feel it much when you drive, mostly at a stop. In your case, check all tires for uneven wear, check wheels for bent and the wheel balance weights. Take it to tire and wheel balance shop to get it check out. It could be bad transmission, at 25 to 30mph is 2nd gear going into 3rd gear, it only vibrates between at the range 20 to 35mph. Recommend taking it to a mechanic shop to get it check out before any further damage.

      @@Alex-r5p2f If it happen only between 20 to 35miles, that's 2nd gear to 3rd gear, most likely transmission problem.

    What about torque specs for the bolts?

    • @Ah_Duuu_Ma
      @Ah_Duuu_Ma  Před měsícem

      Dont really need torque spec. Just hand tighten is good already. You can torque it to 30 foot pounds.

      @@Ah_Duuu_Ma Wrong answer! Always look up the torque spec! Especially for something like a motor Mount! 30ft*lbs sounds way too low!

      @@TheForwardThinker sure. Im just a regular tech. You are the MASTER TECH you know everything and you already know the answer is wrong then why ask. LOL. Just google the torque spec yourself and do it at home and hopefully google will give the exact torque spec.
