Tree Bark

It's so satisfying to go from idea to reality! I thought of the idea for these earrings and that lead to us trying to figure out how to make a realistic bark texture roller. My wife Gina is THE BEST at figuring out how to sculpt 3D textures and turn them into rollers. We're both really proud of how this turned out!
When you first roll the texture out on clay, it's like 🤷‍♀️, but then when you add depth with darker pigment, it's like 😍!
The added mushrooms and moss were super fun to sculpt. I hope this inspires you to make some mossy mushy earrings of your own. 🥰🍄
