- Showcasing some of the features I would love to see in Train Sim World! Thanks to some dodgy video editing, we join a class 700 Thameslink service at Dartford for a trip to Gravesend, featuring full and realistic on train announcements and fully operable DOO Cab Monitors.
This isn't a mod, and is intended to showcase realism and immersion features I would love to see in game!

This would be a great addition. I would reduce the sound of the hustler alarms and announcements though. They've been recorded in the saloon, not in the cab with a closed door. Same phenomenon in the flight sim community. They want realism but then want to do things like hear the cabin crew announcements. Also hearing the other trains has always been disproportionally loud.

Yeah I'd love to see these added too. There are some scenario packs for TSC on Alan Thomson Sim that add announcements on at least one route (Fife Circle, I think) and I do find it adds massively to the immersion and realism of it all. Bit like when AP added a basic version of ATP into their HST enhancement packs... The more tools and systems replicated, the better!
Completely agree. For me the the announcements and the dispatch system are the 2 main areas that need some focus
Great to see that although you are a "DTG Ambassador" that you aren't afraid to critique. It does cocern me that DTG seem to be restricted by earlier coding chooses to enhance the product. You've only got to look at the Class 6😮6 in it's many different versions with each route to consider issues often spoken about like optimiseation? The latest (and yet to be released) Goblin (S?? something I can't spell) line appears to be somewhat in 'limbo'. No on-board announcements as DTG try to figure out how to integrate this functionality into the Core programming. And a cab which inherits assets from previous train models despite not being accurate for a said 'new' train. Yet as you are informed in each and every tutorial "you will be spending most of your time in the cab" - so you might have thought the cab environment would be of primary interest?

You should download the class 700 sound mod it’s really good
Now this makes me think, the ECML could have gotten three trains, the class 91 and mk4s, the class 801, and the class 700 if it went to Kings Cross, thats a shame
Take note Dovetail have this on TSW but it would be better with the real announcements
Why does the screen go black at 16:21 and stay black for a little while?
Thanks for pointing that out. That is the end of the video. I am not sure why it exported the black screen. I have fixed it now

Hopefully it will come, although as mentioned in the video this isn’t a mod, it’s just editing

The Class 170 is extremely questionable also they mentioned the timetable isn’t even fully complete. They are throwing out a unfinished product 🤦♂️.
And the announcements doesn't work... It's not a full route. I don't even know why it's called “The Circle line” when you can't even drive in a circle 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻😒🙄, + across all platforms you'll just get the Class 170 and the Class 385 SR that's it. Nothing else.....
And I've also heard that the Class 385 ScotsRail windows still won't react to rain, snow, hot, cold or foggy or any kind of weather and that the announcements in the Class 385 ScotsRail it'll still be manual instead of automatic.
And in real life the Class 170 runs Edinburgh to Edinburgh services but in TSW 4 it's just Edinburgh to Perth and nothing else. Like literally.
And no freight trains either...
And no Railtours either....
And on the Fifth Bridge we won't see we no ships or anything either...
If you see last nights stream you'll notice that one of them (can't remember his name) he spends more time saying no, that anything else... Literally.
And it's the Main Circle Line too. But unfortunately....
Unfortunately it's not in timetable mode. Only 1 scenario where you'll be able to drive the full circle. 1. 1!!! And that's it... Nothing else, like literally...
And the Class 170 won't even layer onto the Edinburgh to Glasgow route either and I do suspect that the LNER trains are supposed to be Lumo not LNER but whatever and I also suspect that the LNER trains are static and not going or leaving anywhere, it's just static
And guess what?. The German guy making this route has never been to Scotland either🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻

last time rivet said automated announcements but you literally have to do them yourself for each station on the TOD
Well Bernina Line has automatic announcements with out having to do it yourself and that’s rivet

Apart from 'Jillingham' being pronounced 'Ghillingham', at least the voice parts are okay. All the rest looks good as well, of course...
I noticed that, I’m not sure why the pronunciation is wrong.
@@DadRail Yes, I suppose you would have noticed, as you sign this route. Still, it's only video editing at this stage, so plenty of opportunity to make sure it is done correctly in any resultant actual implementation.
I got bad news regarding the Fife Circle Line. Last night i watched the preview of the Fife Circle Line here on CZcams on the official Train Sim World CZcams page and it's a massive let down. Like literally.

And all these years DTG said this wasn’t possible….clearly BS. The community really need to hold them to account over this. It’s basically a huge lie to cover up their laziness. Why won’t the new goblin like have this?
Just to clarify as per the introduction, this Isn’t a mod it is video editing. These features are not in game but I think they should be.
Can you get the sound mods for console instead of pc getting it all as I feel an massive let down by this not able to do everything that pc to do sound mods when.just bringing out trains and routes and another thing fed up seeing more Germans and France and Russia routes coming out every two weeks to a month when could do massive updates on the UK routes extend more areas with like the new London overground routes are full services every thing else getting short routes and no sounds on console can this can be made and new models locos and routes and stations be great not taking back in the day as nice to go back to memory lane
