Paul, as a professor myself (and having had many, many teachers on my way there) I have ALWAYS found that the finest teachers employ a good sense of humor with the teaching. It never fails to relax the student and opens up so much for them. I thought I might have to use my inhaler after the 20 days of January thing; for 1/2 second I was actually trying to observe! Then bang! Great comedy. Thanks, as always. J

Thant's a great comment, thanks J - I think it goes way back to my old history teacher, who everyone loved. He would dress up and suddenly apear behind the desk in things like a Roman helmet and then follow on in an Italian accent! Learned lots and still love history ... probably down to him!

Good morning from Portland, Oregon USA. I started painting my daily sky in August after watching this video & I’m having so much fun. Now I’m rewatching to get refreshed on your techniques so I can improve my blending skills as I continue through the months.

So happy I stumbled across you today. I am a proud member of The Cloud Appreciation Society and am desperately trying to produce some paintings of cloud filled skies. You have helped me a lot ... thank you ☁️🎨 👩‍🎨

love Paul as he doesn't faff about but gets right down to the point! So many artists haven't figured out what theyre going to say and witter on.....(most common with Americans!)

What a talent you have. You fascinate me the way you can produce a picture so naturally. I gave up painting as I had no confidence but you have inspired me and I am starting to want to paint again with your guidance so thank you Paul.

Love to paint skies and oceans... this was beautiful! You have a wonderful and interesting teaching style... & of course humorous 😄... I took a watercolor break and it's like starting over - forgotten basics... not because of my age HA!!! Thank you for sharing Paul. The best teacher! Blessings in the New Year from a California gramma 😄🌴🌺❄☃
