That is still one of the biggest things that irks me about the traditional church. It's all well and good so long as you follow what they deem acceptable. Otherwise it's gossip and outcast. Christ spent his time out in the world treaching the downtrodden, the outcasts the shunned. The only time Christ was generally in the temple he was chastising the Pharisee. The modern church needs to look itself in the mirror and see how far from Christ's mission they've gone.

@@garygsp3 Yeah I am a Christian but I hate traditional churches. They have strayed so far from the message that they are like those they are condemming. God did not come to the world to condem it but to save it. The time of condemation will come but you should tell people if they are living in sin it is wrong. But mistakes happen and God forgives so christian should too. I would avoid traditional churches if you want to learn about christ. Read the bible and try out different versions. Also read the Book of Enoch for context and a more in depth Genisis. But for begining I would stick to the gospels.

@@scienceenthusiast194 Not quite. True Christians would NEVER shun people. God forgives so christians should also. But we do not condone the sin. Mistakes happen and God for now has his door open and his arm out to you. God is love and he is forgiveness. While one day Judgement will come now we should help our fellow man not shun. Read the gosples if you want to know about chirst. As you can tell I am a christian but I would NEVER shun anyone. I would stay clear of churches heavy on tradition. Nondenominational are the best. Just be careful and compare the pastors message with the bible and you should be fine.

To be fair, I was only 13 at the time and the punch was not planned, but more of a spur of the moment anger sort of thing.

@Preston61 And people wonder why bully victims start school shootings. Because they aren't allowed to retaliate against people who make their lives miserable. They always get in trouble for defending themselves, and the bully gets off scot-free.
I personally had to deal with that when I knocked out a girl for bullying me. I told her to leave me alone multiple times, she didn't listen, and I snapped and punched her hard. I gave her a black eye, a broken nose, and a concussion. The principal wanted to expel me even though I've never been a violent student before. My mom was not having it because she has tried numerous times to get the school to stop kids from bullying me; nothing was done. She went straight to the superintendent of the entire district, and she sided with me. The bully who I punched was suspended for a week, and the principal was put on notice for failing to help a student prone to being bullied. As for me, I only got a warning not to do it again.

Why do they treat Missy as always wrong? She's usually right. Neither of these miserable 'parents' deserve Missy. Get her some new ones.

You don’t punch someone just cause they said something mean to you. Use your words, not your body.

Pastor Jeff represents what is wrong with churches today...I have had this happen to me and I refuse to take any serious roles in a church. I got tired of being burned. happens to often.
