This Chiefs’ defense has been playing absolutely well all season, and as long they have Patrick Mahomes healthy and playing hot, the chiefs are still the juggernaut of the AFC. Isiah Pacheco should take the place of Clyde Edwards-Helaire as a starting running back

Props to Perkins for staying pretty composed in his first start despite making some mistakes especially against such a strong team.

Actually played at the same high school as pacheco, he came in right after I graduated and it's a damn shame didn't get to play together. He played qb there but he definitely was supposed to be a runningback. Glad he's in the position for him now and keeps getting better. Good for him man! Might buy myself a jersey.

Loved seeing the defense step up for a chance when the offense was struggling. Mahomes won’t struggle in the red zone very often but it’s nice to know that when he does the defense can step up and make plays. Chiefs are becoming more rounded on offense and defense which will be useful come playoff time.

The Chiefs are looking like a more well rounded complete team this year. Without Hill everyone is getting involved in the offense and the addition of Pacheco has been huge, young fella is a beast. The defense has been solid and steady, and with Mahomes under center their gonna be a tough out come playoffs.

When doesn't Andy Reid utilize all his weapons. Some weeks you naturally go to Kelce but ALL THE TIME is pat distributing to everyone. Makes him dangerous because he likes pump fakes and looking off the defense so they're never too sure of when he's going to Kelce or anyone plus he can really scramble with the best of them. I love Tom Brady but no QB has ever had the complete package like Patt Mahomes, besides maybe Aaron Rodgers, and Josh Allen, but Aaron Rodgers hasn't really utilized his tight ends since Jimmy Graham and he doesn't truly trust anyone outside his no. 1 receiver, not too much his coaches, either, which has shown to great statistics and awards but only 1 ring for someone with that much arm talent

Tom Brady definitely doesn’t have the same skill set, but he’s never played in the same kind of offense as Mahomes, partially because of the skill set difference. I’d argue that Brady, at his best, plays the best situational offense ever and Mahomes definitely is up there for best dynamic offense ever.

This was a huge confidence booster for our defense, and Harrison Butker. And showed we can control the clock with our offense. Some people don’t understand, if you have the ball for 5 plus minutes and have a lead, doesn’t really matter if you score a td, let your rbs get some extra snaps, let your kicker have some real world practice and burrrrrrn the clock. It’s something we need to be able to do. Scoring maaaad points is great but if you score ENOUGH, and time of possession is lopsided to you, and you still score at least a field goal, the odds of a win are in your favor.

I know it was a crap offense, but it is a confidence booster to just take over on defense no matter who your playing. And honestly they had the tools to do well just not the play calling.

Its so rare to see Mahomes throwing the ball and its intercepted. @10:20 Scott makes the interception in the end zone was an awesome move. Awesome because its so difficult to achieve that. Following game Sneed interception and TD was the best play of the game in my opinion.
I love watching Pacheco almost as much as I enjoy Mahommes. He gets knocked down gets up running. Gets knocked down hard late hit out of bounds he gets up runs back to mahommes says I'm ready give me the ball.

This should have been a blow out. The fact that it wasn't is part of the reason this team and the coaching staff scare me. This type of game is exactly why we lost to the Colts earlier in the season. Mahomes is having an MVP season and the only player on the team he really knows is Kelce, that's pretty damn impressive.
Guess we'll see how good this team is next week. If we don't come out looking to destroy the team that embarrassed us last year we might lose to them. D looks really good.
I do agree but I think this team is good enough they are playing a different level game, no need to blow out the opponent as long as they get the win. Cincy played good today but I think they'll need more next week.
@DAvid Mills I cant tell if you are actually worried about the team or not but i will say that in these games it feels like KC is trying to just do enough to win and nothing more because Reid doesnt like to put stuff on film especially with a tough opponent following them. I will say i dont like this approach neccessarily but i cant argue with the results as they usually come out firing against those better opponents ie the Buccs and the 49ers. I do also think this approach is used to help keep the team healthy for future games as well. I think Mahomes is very comfortable with Juju but it seemed the team was putting him on a snap count to make sure he was a 100% for next week.

That isnt necessarily true. The guy the Rams had in at QB was much more athletic than Stafford and was able to avoid some of the pressure with some solid runs. Stafford is a pure pocket passer and probably eats a couple more sacks.
