IN DEPTH ANALYSIS of - RUJUTA DIWEKAR 'S MYTHS AND FACTS ABOUT DIABETES -By FREEDOM FROM DIABETES

  • This analysis is based on the extensive experience of FFD in educating, inspiring and supporting thousands of diabetics since 2013. Diabetics who are seriously interested in reversing diabetes should go through this detailed note, to protect oneself from the popular mistakes and speed up their freedom journey!
    Also note, that the Freedom From Diabetes (FFD) Protocol (on Plant based diet and Anti-gravity exercise) is acknowledged internationally and it's detailed research paper is published in the International Journal of Diabetes & Endocrinology. It has brought UNPRECEDENTED RESULTS and 5,000+ are free from diabetes medicines and 1,000+ from insulin completely. There are over 1200 video testimonials of those who are free of diabetes medicines and insulin on its CZcams Channel.
    The sole intention of this analysis is that correct information reaches diabetics. It is not intended to hurt the sentiments or actions of anyone concerned.
    Diabetes is a serious disorder with devastating physical and social effects. It is an earnest request to all doctors and nutritionists to not popularise any idea/s which may aggravate the disease!
    From the video - "All about Diabetes - Myths and Facts - by Rujuta Diwekar" we have categorised the recommendations into two headings - HARMFUL and HELPFUL!
    ♒ HARMFUL RECOMMENDATIONS: ♒
    1⃣ Diabetics can drink milk tea or coffee 2-3 cups/ day with sugar
    Facts: Milk contains IGF molecule (insulin like growth factor) and AGE (advanced glycated endproducts). Both of these dramatically increase insulin resistance. Thousands of diabetics who have stopped milk in tea and any form based on our recommendation have experienced immediate reduction in blood sugar and reduction or stoppage of medicines/insulin within days or weeks. Milk is the biggest killer for diabetics. They should stop it just for a week and keep measuring sugar levels to understand the truth. Also consuming refined sugar with tea is harmful for diabetics.
    2⃣ Diabetics should have idli, dosa, poha, paratha, upma in breakfast
    Facts: Poha, Idli, Dosa is mostly made from white rice. Upma is refined wheat. Paratha is also made from wheat. Grains contain around 80% carbohydrates. Also with refined food items (white rice and rava) blood sugar shoots excessively and then gets converted into fat. All these breakfast items is what most Indian diabetics consume daily and hence are still suffering from high sugars. These items should be stopped by diabetics immediately and they should shift to sprouts, salads and daal based items in breakfast like idli, chilla, dirda, dhokla, dosa, thalipeeth, vada made from chana, chavali (black eyed beans) moong, urad, etc. Daals contain around 60% carbohydrates. They also contain higher amount of fiber and protein thus increasing satiation and also releasing sugar slowly. Most diabetics dramatically benefit by changing these breakfast items in terms of reduction of sugar and also weight.
    3⃣ Diabetics should eat all seasonal and regional fruits. Mango, Sitaphal, Chikoo, Jackfruit, Banana, Grapes, etc
    Facts: Yes, diabetics should have fruits but in a step by step systematic manner while being in touch with sugar levels. Those who have high sugars or fluctuating sugars need to resort to low to moderate GI fruits (apple, pear, guava) or no fruits in the initial stage of reversal. If medium GI fruits like Mango, Sitaphal, Chikoo, Jackfruit, Banana, Grapes or higher GI fruits like Jackfruit, Watermelon or Pine apple are consumed by diabetics with sensitive blood sugars, it can definitely shoot up. Choose the fruits depending on the blood response to sugars. Do not go overboard immediately, neither be scared of them.
    ⚛ HELPFUL RECOMMENDATIONS: ⚛
    1⃣ Diabetes is reversible. (A big YES!)
    2⃣ Get fitter and control the sugar levels not by lowering your weight alone but improve your lean body (muscle) mass. (A big YES!)
    3⃣ In diabetes liver, kidney, heart, nerve, eyes function gets affected because of lack of nutrients to these organ cells. (Yes)
    4⃣ No process and packaged food. Avoid daily biscuits. (Absolutely)
    5⃣ Don’t drink tea or coffee in the morning. (Start with a green smoothie)
    6⃣ No fruit juices at all. (Correct)
    7⃣ Don’t eat multi grain atta. (Have only 1 grain per meal)
    8⃣ Use kacche ghani ka oil. (Yes, avoid refined oils)
    9⃣ Walking is a activity and not exercise. Weight training is must - minimum 3 days per week. Yoga (Asanas). (Yes!)
    🔟 Eat dinner between 7 to 8 pm. Avoid watching TV while eating a food. Sleep timing are very important (Before 10pm). Avoid late nights (Late eating and sleeping increases acid and inflammation, thereby increasing insulin resistance).

    I am pre diabetic with pcod and vit D deficiency. I have followed rujuta's diet for 1month. I bought iron utensil for cooking, cooked in stone pressed oil, ordered organic cow milk and added ghee to my meal. Tried all the local recipes, ladoos, chikki. Did yoga and walking. And I lost 3 kgs without feeling dead. My body pain gone. First time in life I got my periods on time. I continued for 1-2 months. I was feeling amazing. Again my lifestyle changed and now I am same like lethargic, body pain and the symptoms of pcod increases.

Diet.exercise and medication are the 3 pillars to cure or to control diabetes. Out of the 3 mentioned above if anybody misses any one sugar in the body gets adversely affected.

    Dr Pramod you are doing a very good job.. congrats. It is bring it to your kind notice that fruits have been proven beyond doubt decreasing insulin resistance in peer reviewed journals. Eg mangiferrin in mango). Simply looking at glycemic index often misleads us.

    • @drgoldhealthcare
      @drgoldhealthcare Před 2 lety +1

      @@sunilkumarn3694 glycemic load takes into account of glycemic index and the carb content of that food. Fruits in moderation is fine that too in whole form. The only problem with fruit is Fructose.

    Research has shown that mango may lower diabetes. Earlier only natural food was aviable- our regular daal, chawal, roti, sabzi fruits, achaar, paapad, ghee, milk, dahi, paneer, cold-pressed oil, etc. Diabetes, BP, and other diseases have increased only now when our lifestyles have changed. Market food, processed food, online delivery of meals, etc, are to be blamed. If patients stop eating their staple diet then how will they get energy and nutrition?

    3 harmful things are isolated points from the total diabetic guidance video. Rujuta would never say that eat anything in any quantity at any time. Everything should be eaten in moderation. Diet and exercise are the keys. It is always a holistic approach towards diabetes control that gives results one can't isolate a point and decide right or wrong.

    • @world-of-susan.
      @world-of-susan. Před 2 lety +2

      Rujuta was not wrong. When we eat idli with coconut chutney, sambar and vada, the glycemic effect of the whole meal is not the same. There is fat, fibre and additional protein. But if you do not eat vada with idli or you eat a lot of idlis, things will change. She has also said how much we ought to eat- Jordan formula.
      Idli alone is digested too fast and spike your blood glucose and it drops in no time leading to hypo. I am not a doctor, only a patient and speak my experience.
      When I eat idli, I first eat an omelette with vegetables added to it.
      One slice of mango or even one mango will not trouble me if I have it on an empty stomach. Added to a meal it will.
      Rujuta has said in other videos how and when anyone should eat fruits.
      At first I used to think that she was talking through her hat, now I know that she is speaking the truth,; but we have to hear her in full. That means listening to everything that she gives out in bits.
